Today we are talking about Step 2 to help you manifest your desire to get things done, which is to visualize your work completed. Really think about how it will feel to get your work done at the end of each day. Visualize it in your mind. Think about what your to-do list will look like with everything checked off, what your calendar will look like when you have more days open to do what you want, and how it will feel at the end of the day to get so much more accomplished than you have before. Take your time, and spend a few minutes doing this right now. Identify barriers, and break them down one at a time until there is nothing standing between you and complete belief in what you desire.  For more help with leveraging the Power of Visualization, download my complimentary Guidebook by going to https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/visualization.  Tune in tomorrow for Step 3 to help you manifest your desire to get things done.  Remember to subscribe to my high-value proven business success tips and resources Blog (https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/blog/)  Want more from The Accountability Coach™, subscribe to more high-value content by looking for me on https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/my-podcast/ and on most podcast platforms and in most English-speaking countries, or by going to https://itunes.apple.com/podcast/accountabilitycoach.com/id290547573.  Take advantage of all the complimentary business tips and tools by joining the Free Silver Membership on https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/coaching-store/inner-circle-store/.  Go to https://www.accountabilitycoach.com to check out for yourself how I, as your Accountability Coach™, can help you get and stay focused on you highest payoff activities that put you in the highest probability position to achieve your professional and personal goals, so you can enjoy the kind of business and life you truly want and deserve.  I'm the author of many books, including, Excuses Don't Count; Results Rule, Live Life with No Regrets, No Excuses, The Guide to Stopping Procrastination, The Power of Visualization, My Gratitude Journal, the Work Life Balance Emergency Kit, and The Roadmap To Success with Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard, and more.   Aim for what you want each and every day!  Anne BachrachThe Accountability Coach™

If you have ever heard of manifesting, then you probably know, at least in part, where this conversation is headed… but for those of you who might not be as familiar with the concept, let me take a moment to explain.  Manifestation is basically the belief that if you visualize and believe something enough, it will come to pass. There are a lot of varying beliefs about manifestation, and many people claim that it works in many different ways. Some believe that it is an almost spiritual, mystical phenomenon, while others tend to believe that any basis for it being true lies within the human mind. More people probably believe that if you believe in something enough, you will not be inhibited as you strive to achieve it… which is what actually ends up winning in the end.  Let's approach manifestation from a position of pure logic. Logically, you ARE able to manifest things by visualizing and believing in them. This will enable you to break down self-imposed barriers and to give yourself the freedom that you need to pursue your goals without inhibitions. Once you acquire the ability to ‘live' your success before it is physically in place, you will have realized what it truly means to ‘manifest' the next level of success for yourself.  Tune in tomorrow for more ideas on helping you manifest your desire to get things done.

Today we are talking about Tip #4 for helping you have a “winning” attitude, which is to remind yourself that ANYTHING is possible. It can be easy to feel like you are not capable of accomplishing difficult or mountainous feats… but you will soon realize that the only thing separating you from victory is a winning attitude! Simple logic tells us that if you continue to try without giving up, you truly can accomplish ANYTHING! We sometimes feel like we can only do so much, or that we are only capable of doing certain things. Limiting yourself by not having the drive to continue to try, despite failure, will hold you back more than anyone else possibly could.  "The keys to success: pure staying power, persistence, continually believing in something, dogged stubbornness to get things done, and continual optimism."- Susan Barnes Tune in tomorrow for Tip #5 for helping you to have a “winning” attitude. Subscribe to my high-value proven business success tips and resources Blog (https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/blog/)  Want more from The Accountability Coach™, subscribe to more high-value content by looking for me on https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/my-podcast/ and on most podcast platforms and in most English-speaking countries, or by going to https://itunes.apple.com/podcast/accountabilitycoach.com/id290547573.

Today we are talking about Tip #2 for helping you have a “winning” attitude, which is to give yourself daily pep talks.  Sometimes, the strongest positive voice is your own! Take some time each day to look into the mirror and to give yourself a pep talk. Tell yourself that you can do anything that you set your mind to, and remind yourself not to give up. Some people have affirmations they say out loud every day and that makes a big difference for how they start and finish their day. It might sound a bit cheesy, but building confidence and a winning attitude is going to require you to BELIEVE in yourself… and one of the best ways to accomplish this is to speak it out loud! Tune in tomorrow for Tip #3 for helping you to have a “winning” attitude.

Having a winning attitude is essential to being successful. Theodore Roosevelt once said ‘Believe YOU CAN and you are half way there'. Today we are talking about idea #1 for how to engage and motivate your staff, which is to Reward Immediately and Frequently. In a study, one of the primary influences that affected the motivation of employees was recognition and reward. It was shown that small rewards offered frequently and as soon as possible after the performance had the most impact.  So, the gift of two tickets to the cinema was more rewarding than the promise of a promotion at some indeterminate time in the future. Conversely, inappropriate or incorrect behavior must be noted as soon as it becomes evident. While it was noted, rewards are seen as more motivational when given in the presence of other team members, bringing a staff member to account for an oversight or error is best performed in private. As a leader it is important to check for improvement in a timely manner and compliment employees if a positive change is evident. Otherwise, staff may be left wondering why they should bother if changes are not acknowledged. Tune in tomorrow for Idea #2 for how to engage and motivate your staff.   Download your complimentary support team performance assessment, so you can customize it for each of your team members by going to https://bit.ly/SupportTeamAssessment. Today we are talking about change number 5 that you can do to increase your success, which is to Set and Update Your Goals. Since you have already achieved success in your own right, you doubtlessly know the importance of effective goal setting. You also need to remember that it can be easy to grow lax in this area after you have made your first $100,000 or even 500,000. You are no longer fighting to pay your rent or to put food on the table, which can cause you to forget to update your goals and create a game plan to achieve them.  Make sure that your goals are current, and that you are actively pursuing them. Realizing that you want to go to your next level is one thing…  making the necessary changes and setting believable stretch goals is another. By doing this, you will start your success process all over again. Once you achieve THESE stretch goals, you will be at a place that is even better than where you are now. How great will that be?  --Michael Korda, British novelist said: “One way to keep momentum going is to have constantly greater goals." Tune in tomorrow for change number 6 to help you increase your success.

Being negative and looking down on yourself or on how things are going can drastically affect your performance, which is why making a conscious choice to be more positive is essential to getting to your next level of success. If you ever want to move forward and realize your true, fullest potential, you are going to have to find a way within yourself to become a truly positive individual. Today we are talking about change number 1 that you can do to increase your success, which is to Cut Out Distractions. Distractions come in many sizes, shapes, and forms… but all of them have one thing in common. In short, they waste the most valuable commodity that you will ever possess: time. Your time is everything. You only have so much of it every day, and what you do with it directly impacts how successful you become… which is exactly why cutting out distractions is going to make a HUGE difference for you down the road.  Isolating your distractions might seem challenging, but you can usually find them by asking yourself this question… What are the biggest wastes of time in my life?  By answering this question truthfully, you will usually arrive at the biggest distractions that you face on a day to day basis. Figuring out what distracts you the most can help you to avoid it during the day, which can add up to more hours for you at the end of the week! This is time that you can spend directly investing yourself into greater future success! – Mark Victor Hansen said: "Focused mind power is one of the strongest forces on earth."  Tune in tomorrow for change number 2 to help you increase your success.

“What the New Year brings to you will depend a great deal on what you bring to the New Year.” This is a great quote by Vern McLellan. We all have 365 days in a year. The only difference between the successful people and the mediocre is what we do with each day. We all spend every second of every day doing something. Are those activities moving you forward or keeping you where you currently are? Muhammad Ali said: "Don't count the days - make the days count." Jim Rohn said: "Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time."    I just wanted to take a quick moment to say how much I appreciate your business and continued support. It is a pleasure for me to be able to serve entrepreneurs and business professionals like you. I believe that you and I have the ability to have a positive impact on this world.  That's why I'm so excited to serve our community. When hard-working, values- and goals-driven people like you and I put our heads together, there's no limit to what we can accomplish. Oprah Winfrey said: “Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.”  Thank you for your continued support and I hope you let me know how else I can be of service to you in 2024 and beyond. I wish you a very healthy, happy, and profitable new year.  Make it a great 2024!! I'm the author of many books, including, Excuses Don't Count; Results Rule, Live Life with No Regrets, No Excuses, The Guide to Stopping Procrastination, and the Work Life Balance Emergency Kit, The Roadmap To Success with Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard, and more.   Aim for what you want each and every day!  Anne BachrachThe Accountability Coach™

There's nothing wrong with taking a break, but you know procrastination when you see it.  Here's how to recognize the signs of procrastination and stop the cycle of excuses and delays so you can achieve more success in life and in business. If you have ever been a leader, manager, or business owner with employees, you've experienced what it's like delegating an important task under deadline.  From experience, you've probably learned who you can trust to complete the task well, and on time, when others fall short. Have you ever delegated a time-sensitive task to an employee only to find them making excuses, waiting until the last minute, or wasting time when they should be working on your project? It probably got you fired up. So, here's a question for you: If you don't tolerate procrastination from others, why would you ever tolerate procrastination from yourself? Will you choose to begin reducing procrastinating in your life so you can enjoy even greater success, or will you continue to let procrastination hold you back from reaching your true potential?  What has to happen next for you to stop letting procrastination be your excuse?  It's easy to make excuses and it's even easier to use those excuses to procrastinate.  With a little insight into why procrastination occurs, you may be able to reduce or completely eliminate it from your personal and professional life. Don't let procrastination hold you back any longer. There are three factors that influence human behavior:1.      Needs2.      Wants3.      Values Values are the most powerful of the driving forces. In order to achieve your goals, you must understand the ways in which you are motivated to act.Top performers do what needs to be done whether they feel like it or not. As Peter Vidmar, Olympic Champion says, “To be an Olympic Champion you only need to work out two times.  When you feel like it, and when you don't feel like it.” Lesser performers find reasons and excuses not to complete their tasks. They often seek feelings of comfort rather than feelings of success.

To accomplish your goals, you must believe - and your belief comes from your conviction and desire.   Changing your circumstances and creating the life you really want starts with creating a high level of belief that allows you to feel that you can achieve anything you set your mind to do.  With conviction and desire, you will be unstoppable because you will believe that anything is possible. As a result, you will create the life you have always dreamed about having. Success beliefs help you realize that you can do anything and any obstacles you face are only imaginary blocks created by your limiting beliefs.   There is creation power in your belief system; so use success-oriented beliefs to create a success driven life. --Henry Ford, Founder of Ford Motor Company said: “Whether you think you can or can't - either way, you are right.”   Download my complimentary Special Guidebook, Are Limiting Beliefs Stopping You from Achieving Your Goals?, to explore 7 success beliefs, so you can more quickly have your ideal business and life by going to https://bit.ly/Limiting-Beliefs-Book.

Today we are talking about Tip #4 of the 4 tips for how Time Management Principles Can Benefit You, which is Time Management Principles Give You a Sense of Personal Fulfillment. At the end of the day, one of the best things about effective time management is how good it makes you feel about yourself. Without time management, you could very well spend crucial parts of your day wasting time without even meaning to. With so many distractions at arm's reach nowadays, it can be difficult to spend a day on the job without falling to the temptation to jump on Facebook, put off tasks, or procrastinate until after lunch. For this reason, keeping tabs on how you spend your time can not only allow you to get a TON more accomplished, and it will also enable you to feel a lot better about yourself after it is time to go home. Instead of going home and wishing that you would have gotten more done, you can relax because you will know that you got everything done that you needed to accomplish - your highest payoff activities for that day.  Over the past 4 days I have shared 4 Ways in Which Time Management Principles Can Benefit You – personally and professionally. Implement one, two, or all 4 of these tips, so you can be even better at time management and accelerate your results.  I strongly recommend you consider using a time log to periodically monitor what you do with your time every day for a two-week period of time. You might be amazed at how you actually spend your time versus how you think you spend your time. This can be used with all your team members also. By planning ahead and figuring out how you are going to fit everything in, you are allowing yourself more control over what actually gets done. Prioritizing the activities that you planned can help you to get them out of the way quickly and easily; therefore, making more room in life for the things that you would rather be doing. A lot of people fail to remember that time is going to get used up every day, no matter what you do. Whether you get a lot done or not, you are STILL going to have 24 less hours than you did the day before. This is why it is so essential to make sure that you are controlling your own destiny by mapping out how you want to get things accomplished. Moving on to the next level of success is going to depend on you being in absolute control of your life. Today, we are exploring Tip #4 of the 4 tips to scheduling your life, so you can achieve your goals. Ask yourself, “What are the highest payoff activities I need to do to achieve my goal in the timeframe I have set?” Work first on those activities that produce the results you want, rather than focusing on the tasks that are easier to do, are more fun, or don't cause you to step outside your comfort zone. The goal is to do the work the goal requires to achieve it, whether that work is within your comfort zone or not.If you don't already use your calendar for effective time management, you will quickly experience the power in this type of scheduling.  It creates a lot of laser focus on the ‘right' activities and allows you to see and feel progress toward your goals. For information on time blocking your calendar for maximum effectiveness, check out an article I wrote by going to https://bit.ly/Time_Blocking.

Today, Let's explore 3 of the 4 Tips for Scheduling your Life, so you can achieve your goals and have your ideal business and ideal life.1.      Put everything you need to accomplish in your calendar. 2.      Then group similar activities. For example, if you have to make certain types of calls, conduct annual meetings with clients, or interview potential clients, do these types of activities one right after the other. 3.      Schedule a block of time for administrative activities that are not high payoff tasks. E-mail, answering the phone, and unscheduled meetings fall into this category. Scheduling time for these tasks saves a lot of time and mental energy because you don't continually have to change “hats” while working on the activities required to achieve your goals. Your mental energy and focus stays on “like” activities and maximizes your efficiency. Tune in tomorrow for Tip #4 to scheduling your life, so you can achieve your goals.  For information on time blocking your calendar for maximum effectiveness, check out an article I wrote by going to https://bit.ly/Time_Blocking.

Achieving goals is nothing more than finding out what has been holding you back and the habits and perceptions that need to change in order to get you where you want to be. Accountability coaching helps you identify those negative aspects and transform them into positive ones, so you can achieve the goals you desire.Seeking the guidance of a professional accountability coach is not a sign of weakness, it is quite the opposite. Even the very best Olympic competitors and professional athletes cannot become champions without professional coaching – and it is the same for you. The most prominent success comes from exploring your true self and identifying the self-sabotaging habits and perceptions that have been holding you back. The Law of Effect simply states that behaviors that are reinforced are most likely to be repeated. Believing in yourself is vital to your success. Successful people know they are successful; while people who struggle hope or wish they will be successful. Hoping or wishing will not create your success, only knowing will create success. And you can't know you are successful without a high level of belief. To get to where you want to go and be who you want to be, you must believe you can do it. A solid belief is formed from the conviction you have in yourself to accomplish anything you set out to do, and the desire to accomplish your goals regardless of your current circumstances.Borrow belief when you need to.  If someone believes in you more than you do on any given day, borrow their belief to get you through whatever it is you need to get through.  I've said to people, “I believe in you. There is a school of thought that says all the goals you create must be S.M.A.R.T. goals. This means each goal you write down is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Tangible or Timely. I take issue with the words realistic and attainable. After all, who defines what is possible in the realm of reality? I believe goals should be “stretch goals” - goals that are achievable and also require stretching your perceived limits. This extra push provides inspiration and motivation. Stretch goals are win-win and even if you fall short of achieving a stretch goal, you've probably exceeded your “realistic” goal. The word attainable bothers me for similar reasons. Obviously, you want your goals to be within reach, so that same “stretch” should be added for additional motivation and inspiration.I believe each goal must have a specific target date (month, day, and year) associated with it. Most people assume that just noting the year with a goal is specific enough, but goal setting requires pinpoint specification. Be sure to note a day, month, and year for each goal.  In theory, working toward your goals is not complicated and being perfect isn't a requirement. Do the activities that move you toward your goals, and stop doing the activities that do not move you toward your goals – it really is that simple. The rule should be that most days you perform most of the activities that move you closer to achieving your goals. Being perfect isn't a requirement. Consider what would happen if most of what you said and did every day moved you toward the achievement of your goals.   Download my complimentary Special Guidebook, Are Limiting Beliefs Stopping You from Achieving Your Goals?, by going to https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/request-guidebook-limiting-beliefs/.

Accountability coaching focuses intensely on the very things that are blocking you from achieving goals, and unlike traditional coaching, holds you accountable for every action or inaction. The habits and perceptions that have been holding you back will no longer stop/contain you once you are made aware of them. When you know what is holding you back, you can dissolve the ties that bind you and achieve your goals in the timeframe you set. However, this process does require you to get rid of limiting beliefs, and break free of the habits and perceptions that have created your current reality. The very things that have created your current reality are NOT the things that will get you where you want to be.  Look for an accountability coach to help you accelerate the achievement of your goals, so you can enjoy the kind of business and life you truly want. Download my free Are Limiting Beliefs Stopping You from Achieving Your Goals? Whether we like it or not, we all make choices all the time (every second of every day); consciously and subconsciously, hard decisions and easy decisions, choices that not only affect us but those around us, life altering decisions and choices that, in hindsight, took us down the wrong path. But hey… that's life! As human beings, it's often easier to choose the path of least resistance. After all, we are creatures of habit, so if it's habitual for you to cocoon yourself inside your comfort zone, then it's highly likely you'll always choose the “soft option”. But living a life of quiet desperation is a choice, and people who choose to live life in this way have to take on the responsibility for making that choice.  On the other hand, there are those of us who accept that making choices isn't always easy and isn't always comfortable and want to live a life ripe with new opportunities, new visions, new adventures, and new challenges. Challenges allow us to grow and learn from the experiences we encounter.  Consider this: life doesn't just happen. The life we choose to lead is dictated by the choices we've made in the past, those we make today and those we'll make in the future. To live an extraordinary life, we need to understand and focus on what we want to achieve, and then make choices that will ultimately lead us to the goals we want to attain.  Subscribe to my high-value proven business success tips and resources Blog (https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/blog/) Take advantage of all the complimentary business tips and tools by joining the Free Silver Membership on https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/coaching-store/inner-circle-store/.
