We finish up our series with the story of the 10 Commandments. It's an incredibly simple story with an incredibly profound impact.

We've all marveled before at the story of Jesus calming the storm. It reminds us that our Jesus still calms storms. But what if we are asking Him to calm the wrong ones?

Gideon's story is equal parts incredible and inspirational. It forces us to ask “what happens that causes Gideon to shift from timid hesitancy to confident clarity?”

The story of Samson is certainly one of the most confounding stories we come across in the Bible. What lessons are there to learn from this “hero” of the faith?

In the story of Daniel in the Lions' Den, we find a man so tethered to his faith that he chooses to continue to pray to his God, knowing it will lead to him being thrown into a den of lions. This type of heroism seems almost otherworldly, but a deeper look reveals that it is Daniel's consistent obedience to God that allows the Lord to make a miraculous impact through him, when the time was right.

The themes in the story of The Fiery Furnace echo the themes of the rest of the stories within the Book of Daniel: God is in control, and Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and Daniel have complete faith in that truth. Today, we look to discover what gives these men the faith to stand together, in the face of death, to glorify God.

This week we hear the story of a rebellious prophet who sparks one of the largest revivals in human history. But wait until you hear how it happened! (It's a bit fishy...)
