Jak się okazuje Grzegorz lubi konkurować i osiągać cele nie tylko w Duolingo, ale również w wodzie. Michał Krasnopolski niezmiennie jest tym zaskoczony. Pojawiają się nawet sugestie, że być może jest to materiał na terapię albo nawet na leczenie. Leczenia też wymaga iPhone, o którym opowiada Wam Grzegorz. Zdaniem Michała leczenia nie wymaga AI. Redaktor Michał przy okazji opowie Wam o tym, gdzie widzi AI. Prawdopodobnie wszędzie. Niestety prawdopodobnie to Michał ma rację. Płynnie przechodzimy do kwestii Waszego bezpieczeństwa w tym niezwykłym świecie. Usłyszycie zatem jak robić zakupy, aby było to trochę bardziej bezpieczne. Nie tylko online, ale też na żywo. Według Biblii śmierć Jezusa była ofiarą. Np. w 1 Koryntian 5:7 nawiązano do składania baranka podczas święta paschy, powiedziano tam: “jako baranek został ofiarowany Chrystus”. Dla wielu ludzi symbolem tej ofiary jest krzyż. Czy jednak Jezus umarł przybity do krzyża, a może do pala? Aby to zrozumieć będziemy musieli zająć się dwoma greckimi słowami staurós i ksýlon, które pojawiają się w Nowym Testamencie. Zanim jednak do tego przejdziemy warto cofnąć się do Starego Testamentu. Pozwoli nam to zrozumieć dlaczego stosowano taką karę.Wbrew pozorom, zawieszenie człowieka na drewnie, słupie czy belce nie było wynalazkiem Rzymian. Był to starożytny gest kary i publicznej hańby, praktykowany przez różne ludy Bliskiego Wschodu. Zawsze miał jeden podstawowy cel: skazaniec miał być widoczny z daleka, wystawiony na wzgórzu lub przybity do belki, drzewa, a nawet do muru – tak, aby jego los był publiczną przestrogą. Takie prawo istniało u Persów. W Ezdrasza 6:11 czytamy: “Ode mnie też wychodzi rozkaz, że jeżeli kto przekroczy to zarządzenie, to zostanie wyrwana z jego domu belka, na którą zostanie wbity (inne przekłady mówią przybity), jego zaś dom zostanie za to zamieniony w kupę gruzu”.Inny przykład z tych czasów zawiera księga Estery 5:14 gdzie czytamy: “Niech sporządzą szubienicę wysoką na pięćdziesiąt łokci, a jutro rano powiedz do króla, aby na niej powieszono Mordochaja. Potem idź wesół z królem na ucztę. Rada ta podobała się Hamanowi, kazał więc sporządzić szubienicę”. Długość 50 łokci to ponad 20 metrów. W tym przekładzie oddano to jako szubienicę, ale słowo to oznacza drzewo. Chodzi tutaj o wysoki pal, który widać było z daleka. Nie wiemy jak wieszano ludzi. Czy byli przybijani czy przywiązywani, ale na pewno każdy ich widział.Ten rodzaj kary jest wymieniony także w Prawie Mojżeszowym gdzie wspomniano jak należało wykonać tą karę. W Powtórzonego Prawa 21:23 czytamy: “To nie mogą jego zwłoki pozostać na drzewie przez noc, ale mają być pochowane tego samego dnia, gdyż ten który wisi, jest przeklęty przez Boga”. Warto tutaj wyjaśnić, że wieszano człowieka, który już nie żył. Akt jego powieszenia był oznaką hańby. Jest to ważny werset, bo apostoł Paweł cytuje go w Galatów 3:13, ale o tym za chwilę.W podobny sposób Filistyni potraktowali zwłoki króla Saula. W 1 Samuela 31:10 czytamy: “Zbroję zaś jego złożyli w świątyni Asztarty, a jego zwłoki powiesili na murze Bet-Szeanu”. Potem Gibeonici potraktowali tak potomków Saula - 7 z nich powiesili w Gibeonie. W wielu tłumaczeniach Biblii wspomniano tam, że zostali nabici na pal. Chodzi jednak raczej o stracenie ludzi i potem przybicie lub przywiązanie ich zwłok na widok publiczny. W naszej kulturze ludzi nabijano na pal i to pewnie sprawiało, że niektórzy tłumacze piszą o wbiciu, ale oryginał hebrajski w 2 Samuela 21:6 mówi o powieszeniu.Karę taką stosowali później także Rzymianie. Np. w 71 roku p.n.e. Krasus pokonał Spartakusa. Na drodze appijskiej z Kapui do Rzymu powieszono około 6000 powstańców. Rzymianie aby opisać tę karę używali łacińskiego słowa crux, które dziś tłumaczy się na krzyż. Tak więc opisując tą masową egzekucję wielu historyków mówi o ukrzyżowaniu tych 6000 ludzi. Jednak w tamtym okresie słowo to oznaczało pal. Ludzi tych przybijano do pali, albo wręcz do drzew jeżeli takie rosły przy drodze. Ciała pozostawiono tam na wiele dni jako przestrogę.Nowy Testament spisano jednak po grecku i użyto słów: staurós i ksýlon. To pierwsze słowo czyli staurós na łacinę tłumaczy się jako crux, a więc można powiedzieć, że słowa te mają to samo znaczenie. Tutaj nastąpiła podobna ewolucja znaczenia. Pierwotnie staurós oznaczało pal, słup lub belkę. Dopiero później zaczęto tak określać krzyż. Obecnie większość tłumaczy tak oddaje to słowo. Np. w Mateusza 27:32 czytamy: “A wychodząc, spotkali człowieka, Cyrenejczyka, imieniem Szymon; tego przymusili, aby niósł krzyż jego”. Czy Jezus niósł pionowy pal, a może tylko jego poprzeczną belkę. Nad tym debatują nie tylko teolodzy, ale także historycy. Do tego tematu jeszcze wrócimy.Drugie słowo związane z kaźnią Jezusa to ksýlon. W polskich bibliach zwykle oddaje się jako drzewo. Np. w Dziejach 5:30 czytamy: “Bóg ojców naszych wzbudził Jezusa, którego wy zgładziliście, zawiesiwszy na drzewie”. To mówił do ludzi w Jerozolimie apostoł Piotr. Użył tego słowa także w swoim liście, w 1 Piotra 2:24 czytamy: “On grzechy nasze sam na ciele swoim poniósł na drzewo”. Brzmi to trochę dziwnie jakby Jezus zabrał nasze grzechy i wszedł na drzewo, ale myślę, że rozumiecie sens.Tego słowa użył też Paweł w Liście do Galatów 3:13 gdzie czytamy: “Chrystus wykupił nas od przekleństwa zakonu, stawszy się za nas przekleństwem, gdyż napisano: Przeklęty każdy, który zawisł na drzewie”. Cytował on tutaj fragment z Powtórzonego Prawa 21:23, który już czytałem w tej audycji wcześniej. Hebrajskie słowo, które miało główne znaczenie drzewo przetłumaczona na greckie słowo “ksylon”, którego główne znaczenie to także drzewo. Zachodzi jednak pytanie, czy chodziło tutaj o kształt czy tylko o materiał?Tak więc w Nowym Testamencie napisanym po grecku użyto dwóch słów. Najczęściej gdy widzicie słowo krzyż to prawie na pewno w oryginale występowało słowo stauros. Ale w kilku wersetach użyto słowa ksylon, które tłumacze często oddają jako drzewo. Wielu teologów twierdzi, że stauros opisuje narzędzie, a ksylon wskazuje na znaczenie czyli na hańbę. Jeżeli stauros to narzędzie, a tłumaczy się to greckie słowo na łacińskie crux to odpowiedzi na to jak zginął Jezus należy szukać u Rzymian. To oni wykonali ten wyrok i posłużyli się metodą, którą stosowali od wieków, np. w przypadku Spartakusa i jego powstańców.W starożytnym Rzymie kara krzyżowania (crucifixio) była straszliwym środkiem odstraszającym, a skazańcy byli wystawiani wzdłuż dróg lub murów, by przypominać o potędze Rzymu. Tak jak się to stało w przypadku 6000 niewolników po upadku powstania Spartakusa. Powieszono ich wzdłuż Via Appia w odstępach co kilkadziesiąt metrów (prawdopodobnie 30 metrów). Ciała były pozostawione tam na tygodnie. W takich masowych okolicznościach często nie budowano klasycznego krzyża, bo nie było na to czasu ani zasobów. Skazańców przybijano do pali lub do drzew przydrożnych. Najważniejsze było aby był on widoczny.W łacinie samo słowo crux wcale nie musiało oznaczać konstrukcji, jaką dziś kojarzymy. Crux był terminem ogólnym, obejmującym każdą formę narzędzia egzekucji polegającą na przybiciu w celu publicznego wystawienia. Starożytni rozróżniali różne typy:Crux simplex - najprostsza forma, czyli zwykły pionowy pal.Crux commissa - konstrukcja w kształcie dużej litery T (pozioma belka osadzona na szczycie słupa).Crux immissa - konstrukcja w kształcie małej litery t, którą najczęściej kojarzymy z ukrzyżowaniem (poprzeczka poniżej szczytu słupa).Warto zaznaczyć, że w starożytnej literaturze rzymskiej przez wieki nie ma jednoznacznych opisów, które pozwoliłyby stwierdzić, że zawsze stosowano krzyże z poprzeczką. Często był to po prostu pionowy pal. Dopiero około 40 lat po śmierci Jezusa, w okresie poprzedzającym wybuch Wezuwiusza, pojawia się pierwszy autor, który wspomina o poprzecznej belce jako elemencie egzekucji. To Seneka Młodszy. W swoich pismach używa on słowa patibulum, opisując skazańców, którzy mają „rozciągnięte ramiona na poprzeczce” (brachia porrigenda in patibulo).Ten fragment jest kluczowy, bo daje pierwsze twarde starożytne potwierdzenie, że w praktyce ukrzyżowania używano belki poprzecznej, która wymuszała rozłożenie rąk. Czy jednak można to odnieść do śmierci Jezusa? To pytanie do was drodzy słuchacze. Napiszcie w komentarzu co o tym myślicie. Jest jeszcze drugie pytanie: jak była umieszczona ta poprzeczna belka czyli patibulum?Warto tu na chwilę zatrzymać się przy pierwszych chrześcijanach (I-III wieku). Co ciekawe, oni wcale nie używali symbolu krzyża. Najpopularniejsze były wtedy ryba — znany znak ichtys — albo kotwica, kojarzona z nadzieją. Skąd więc wzięło się to, że dzisiaj krzyż jest symbolem chrześcijaństwa? Ten motyw pojawia się dopiero w IV wieku, za czasów cesarza Konstantyna Wielkiego. I to właśnie dlatego niektórzy twierdzą, że to on wprowadził krzyż jako symbol wiary.Dlaczego wcześniej nie korzystano z tego symbolu? Jest kilka teorii. O pierwszej już wspomniałem. Miał go wprowadzić cesarz Konstantyn. Ale są też teorie mówiące, że chrześcijanie nie chcieli się posługiwać symbolem hańby i zaczęli to robić dopiero w IV wieku kiedy skończyły się prześladowania. Inni wskazują na krzyże w pogańskie symbolizujące kult słońca. He has a permanent art exhibit at the 9/11 memorial In NY. Anthony Freda Anthony began his career in advertising, notably working on the infamous Joe Camel campaign. When the FTC ruled the campaign illegal for marketing cigarettes to children, Freda experienced a profound moral awakening that led him to leave advertising behind. He went on to work with prestigious publications such as The New York Times and The New Yorker, but it was his work on an OpEd piece for The New York Times promoting the Iraq War that sparked another ethical reckoning. Realizing he had gone from selling cigarettes to selling war, Freda transitioned once more, joining the early alternative media movement in the 2000s.Freda's work has often pushed boundaries, both politically and artistically. His art is part of the permanent collection of the 9/11 Museum and Memorial in New York, where his piece is one of the only works that questions the official narrative of the events of 9/11.
