Carnival is bacchanal and the PNM is in full canaval mode. After a week of no signatures and rumours of big divides, all MPs came out of Balisier House in Godfather mode kissing the rings of Stuart Young. And after the PNM defenders and apologists attacked the media for reporting that Amery Browne was replacing Dr. Rowley in Diego Martin West, the roll out of this exact plan is now in place.Kamla Persad Bissessar & Gary Griffith's responses to Stuart Young being announced as the Prime Minister are on opposite ends of the spectrum as one is playing pretty mad while the other plays blue devil. The carnival bacchanal ain't gonna be left behind either as Trinidad Killa jumped on Full Blown's Big Links Riddim and is left tout int he cold as no approvals seem to be forthcoming. We haven't heard a peep from Machel Montano or Yung Bredda or any of the Full Blown team but Killa has heard from their lawyers. We must take some time to celebrate Rachel Montano on NPR Tiny Desk and congratulate him for pulling together an all star band featuring the likes of Ettienne Charles and Kyle Peters and delivering a stellar performance. At least I thought so before I started reading social media comments.Of course wee take in some of the best songs of the season as always.Tune in & Enjoy!!!!!
Kyle Peters has been almost there in AMA Supercross his entire career. There might be no rider with more seventh-place 250SX finishes than Kyle, who was is good but couldn't quite get over the hump to net race win or title bid. Then he found a new home in AMA Arenacross and hasn't stopped winning, with five-straight championships pulling him even with Buddy Antunez and the all-time mark in the series. His bid for a record sixth-straight, though, has ended due to a neck injury. Jason Weigandt Kyle to ask about his status going forward from here. Hint: he works a real job in the summer and dirt bikes are way better! The Racer X Exhaust podcast is presented by Yoshimura.
Phoenix Racing announces five-time Arenacross champion Kyle Peters will undergo surgery for a neck issue and will not finish the season.
Presented by Pro Taper Five-time Arenacross Champion Kyle Peters joined us on the Pro Taper Kickstart Podcast this week to talk about the challenges of new contenders, rough riding, and more, in the tight confines of the AMA Kicker Arenacross Series. Lots more to chat about from the final Swapmoto Race Series event of the year, ARay's potential Stark Arenacross Adventure, and more!
In this powerful message from our God with Us series, Kyle Peters unpacks Hebrews 4:14-16, showing how Jesus, our great High Priest, sympathises with our struggles and meets us in our moments of need. Through His own experience of temptation, sorrow, and suffering, Jesus stands in our corner, inviting us to confidently draw near to the throne of grace. Be encouraged by the profound truth that God became man to walk with us in every season of life.
"All of your guys were around when four-strokes came out," said the AMA's Mike Burkeen in Thursday night's AMA Arenacross press conference. "The rules were made and it turns out they weren't very good. They basically killed off the two-strokes. Once it happened we couldn't put the genie back in the bottle. With the electric bikes we didn't want to go full-bore and then just cut it off if we find out it doesn't work. Because everyone has made purchasing decisions already, then we'll have all these guys that they bought under what they would say were bad pretenses. So we want to walk before we run, but we definitely want to run. What that looks like? Nobody knows?" Arenacross can serve as the testing ground to see where electric could fit, so a new stand-alone class for Stark Varg electric bikes has will fit into the Arenacross structure for 2024-2025. Have a listen to last night's press conference as the series explains the new class, and hear from riders like Josh Hill and Justin Bogle. Don't worry, the traditional AMA Arenacross class for 250s and 450s remains, with Kyle Peters trying to hold off riders like Ryan Breece and Vince Friese to notch a record sixth-straight championship. But in the Dash for Cash, it will be electric versus combustion! All the stars are here to talk about their prospects before tonight's season opener in Reno, Nevada. The Racer X Exhaust podcast is presented by Yoshimura and Racer X Brand.
In week three of our Biblical Justice series, Kyle Peters explores the Christian call to justice beyond charity. Scripture reveals that serving the poor and vulnerable is more than an optional kindness—it's an essential act of justice for every believer. From Israel's call to care for foreigners to Jesus' command to love our neighbours, the Bible shows that justice and righteousness are about living in right relationships with others. We look to the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10 as a powerful example, unpacking what it means to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
In the first week of our new series, Biblical Justice, Kyle Peters unpacks Micah 6 and explores God's call for us to live a life of justice, mercy, and humility. This message focuses on what it means to walk humbly with our God, setting the tone for the rest of the series. Join us as we dive deep into God's heart for justice and our role in it.

The conversation explores the lack of cybersecurity preparedness in organizations, the need to translate cybersecurity risks to business risks, the likelihood of attacks and targeting, the challenge of selling likely risks, exciting technological advances in cybersecurity, concerns about AI and rapid technological changes, and closing thoughts and a call to action. Takeaways Building management systems encompass a wide range of components, including HVAC systems, fire alarms, and lighting. A risk-based approach to security is crucial in building management, considering the diverse systems and potential vulnerabilities. Policies and standards play a significant role in ensuring the security and reliability of building management systems. Simple solutions, such as proper cable management and backup plans, can greatly enhance the security and availability of building systems. Understanding the system and planning ahead are essential for effective risk mitigation in building management. Securing remote access and implementing segmentation are key measures to protect building management systems from cyber threats. Many organizations are not adequately prepared for cybersecurity threats, either due to limited budgets or lack of expertise. It is important to translate cybersecurity risks into business risks to help organizations understand the potential impact on their operations. Cyber attacks can come from various sources, including nation-state actors, but also from simple human errors or system failures. Selling the importance of cybersecurity can be challenging, as the most likely risks may not be as sensational as nation-state attacks. Those of us on the agency or services side of the influence marketing industry covet one thing really: Insights from brand-side marketers, particularly those who are the decision-makers in the business. I would imagine talent managers and some creators also covet that since the brand's investments in any of us is what makes the industry tick. In that broad category of brand decision makers, there are a wide variety of businesses and brands. You have small businesses, often mom and pop, local shops, who are regular businesses we encounter all the time. They're probably not often called startups, which is a separate category. These are companies that often take on investments and try to grow to be medium to large businesses. They're tricky because when they're really new, they don't have any money to invest in marketing. As they grow or take on investments, that budget grows and they can wind up being a godsend for those of us looking for brands to help who area also able to pay for that service. And then there are mega brands … the ones you always hear about. They have big teams, multiple brands within portfolios and lots of money to spend. A few weeks ago on LinkedIn, one person at the latter of those three types of companies struck up a conversation that caught my attention. Kyle Peters works in the strategy and innovation department at Nestle … the largest retail company in the world. He focuses on internal innovation, but he joined the team there after building a startup ice cream brand. So he's been on the startup and small business side, too. Kyle asked this: What is the value of an influencer? I was intrigued. So I jumped in and contributed to the comments, but then asked Kyle if he'd like to come on Winfluence and talk about the topic. We'd be tickled to have someone from Nestle sharing that kind of conversation with us. His perspective from the startup and small business side are helpful too. So today, Kyle joins me to talk about his background, but then, the value of influencers from both sides of the aisle … how influencers and creators value themselves versus how agencies and brands do. Winfluence is made possible by Cipio.ai – The Community Commerce Marketing platform. What does that mean? It's an influencer marketing software solution, but it has additional apps that function to tap into your brand community to drive commerce.
