This week's pod starts as a chilled two-man episode with Ed and Billy… then Tommy rings in mid-recording and turns it into absolute chaos. We get into a proper catch-up from a manic week: Wales enduro, Preston Docks testing, British Championship talk (it's looking seriously stacked), plus a bit of SuperEnduro chat and what's been going on behind the scenes. We also finally break down the new app the boys have been building: a paid community built around motocross and enduro with a social feed, forums, messenger, bike “garage” logging, track map, marketplace plans, and a full coaching library. On top of that, riders will be able to submit videos and get feedback from specific coaches, with more names potentially joining down the line.Expect tips that actually help (two things, not ten), proper van chat, questionable storytelling, and the kind of behind-the-scenes waffle you only get on this pod.➕ https://kecks.uk➕ FOLLOW US: Billy: https://www.instagram.com/billybolt57Ed: https://www.instagram.com/eddie_large1Tommy: https://www.instagram.com/tommysearle100➕ You can also support us on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/2pro1slow Hosted on Acast. Phoenix Racing has been a championship player in a variety of racing series, including dominance in AMA Arenacross and AMA Pro ATV Motocross, and also operates Honda's factory GNCC team. It has only been a side player in AMA Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross, however, until now. By adding Dylan Ferrandis to the team for the full 2024 season indoors and out, they've got a chance at podiums and race wins. How did this deal come about and how is the team preparing for this step? Jason Weigandt chats with Eller and Phoenix team manager Heath Harrison about the move. The Exhaust podcast is presented by Yoshimura, Leatt, and Steel City Men's Clinic.
A year ago, Grant Harlan was struggling to even make 250 mains in Monster Energy Supercross. In 2023, he made 13 450 mains! That got him into the lucrative top 20 in points, and he's doing even better in Pro Motocross, where he sits 10th in points. Yes, lots of factory riders are out, but at Thunder Valley, Harlan was pressuring Adam Cianciarulo and Cooper Webb late in the second moto! This all bodes well as the first-ever SuperMotocross World Championship looms, which will pay big money to all the riders who qualify. Harlan currently sits 13th in combined AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross points, so he's looking at an automatic bid into the SMX playoffs (top 20 in points are guaranteed entry). As an example, 13th in points at the end of SMX pays $34,000, plus every week the riders in the races will make a couple grand, so Harlan could easily pocket $40-$50k if he keeps this up. That's not all! Harlan is also racing FIM World Supercross, starting this weekend. More races, more mo ney! Jason Weigandt called up the rider who grew up in Hawaii to get more info on his season, and what's to come.
