Just sit there and stew a while with that title. Once you get that out of the way, we got a bit to talk about. The Acolyte just dropped a action packed, death filled episode, and hinted at ties to the sequel trilogy. Eddie Murphy dropping extremely unexpected Shrek news, and HBO gets what MAX didnt! Plus, Sony seems to be abandoning the PSVR 2 already, XBOX wants to make a big splash at Gamescom, and Capcom is bringing Frank West back, again. A ton more so stick around and take a listen.

dammit I thought i already uploaded this but i guess i closed the tab. I had a nice description and everything. Oh well. From this show I can remember a couple cold calls to random phone book numbers turning out pretty funny. A few about yard-sales that are TOTALLY happening and at least one about a envelope of money that Ignacio had left in the mailbox before he rode his bike to Mexico, but not after leaving bank receipts. Enjoy.
In this episode we get to hang out with Jonathan Bell of The Suck and The Greendales. We talk about The Greendales, Being a remote recording only band with The Suck, Scotts lack of Lego knowledge and much more! "I'm not saying this is going to cure your depression, but I am saying that it stands a good chance of fixing up your gut, and if your depression is gut-related this could have a big impact on you. This could be a big explanation for the worldwide epidemic of depression that is going on because it is very strongly correlated, not caused, but correlated to the extraction of fiber from our foods." Episode Description: We begin with an overview of the microbiome especially as it functions as part of our immune system. From there we discuss the connection between the gut and the brain and how each influences the other. We consider the complex and serious condition that is depression which has many causes and many treatments. While the use of pre and probiotics that have impact on one's mind, psychobiotics, has not yet been demonstrated to have efficacy in the treatment of depression in double-blinded research there are many promising signs that it will. It is also available to be used as an adjunct to other well-researched interventions. Diet is key to a healthy gut and a healthy low inflammation body and brain. Scott makes a number of dietary recommendations for a robust and diverse microbiome. We close with his sharing his personal story of healing through the use of a prebiotic. Our Guest: "Scott Anderson - I've always been fascinated with science and technology. After graduating with a degree in Physics and Math, I jumped into the world of personal computers, forming Sonoma Softworks, one of the first personal computer software companies in California. I wrote the first educational software published by Apple (Supermap), the first PC database manager (Datadex), and the first vector animation program (Fantavision, a forerunner of Flash). I produced the 3D educational game LEGO Island, coordinating marketing and development efforts with Microsoft, Intel, Adobe, and LEGO. I was a co-founder of BigFix Software, which was subsequently purchased by IBM. I have written seven books on technology and hundreds of articles on subjects ranging from video to advanced medicine. I co-authored one of the first books on stem cells, Human Embryonic Stem Cells, with Dr. Ann Kiessling of Harvard. The book is used in graduate schools throughout the country. My latest book is The Psychobiotic Revolution, coauthored with John Cryan and Ted Dinan from National Geographic. I'm currently writing Mood by Microbe for Psychology Today."

Garrett Hunter from Mega64 touches down this week to help us do what we do best every week- dish out divine justice to those who mildly irritate us. Support the show on Patreon In this episode, dedicated to Gamer-Americans everywhere, we discuss the disappointment that is the PlayStation Classic. However, we also reminisce on the good times. Lego Island, anyone? You guys play that one? An absolute gem. So. They did surgery on a grape. Ahem. Well, not exactly. But, we go to excruciating lengths to show you just how unfunny the internet can be. Speaking of: #ThotAudit. Not going to elaborate any further, just listen to the episode. Laura Loomer handcuffs herself to twitter HQ to make them bring back animated avatars. Science tells us that your "doggo" might not be as smart as you think, and young Gamer-Americans are being shipped off to rehab facilities in what parents describe as a "Fortnite addiction" phenomenon! We get to listener voicemails as well. You can even leave your own at 312-788-7361, and we'll play it on the show! Thanks for listening, and we'll see you next week!

Here we go again, on our own. Going down the only road we've ever known. The road of videogames. This week, Connectivity continues its journey through the annals of 2012 with the second half of last week's That Nintendo Year. Our decision to include some non-Nintendo gamse means it's a little longer than usual. After that, Josh and Alex crank up the hype machine for Pokémon X and Y. And if you're interested, after the end of the show there's a bonus segment on the classic game, LEGO Island. Please don't forget to send us lots of listerner mail to connectivity@nintendoworldreport.com, and also please rate and review our little show on iTunes. Thanks!
