Jessamyn and I do what we do best: manage to show up and record a podcast despite it all. Dear Steve and Shirley, I am a 32 year old man and my wife and I have been married for 4 years. Our marriage got off to a rough start and we separated for a short period of time in the beginning. Right after we separated, I met a chick with the body of a goddess and ended up having an affair with her for two months. I got bored with just having great sex and no real connection with this chick, so I told her I was going back to work things out with my wife. She got very upset and told me that her ultimate plan was to take me from my wife................ Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers
Okay guys, I’m just gonna come out and say it. Your - OUR - love of Instagram is getting a little obsessive, and quite frankly? It’s making me NERVOUS.I get it, because I love that gorgeous little visual-eye-candy babe of a platform too. It’s so pretty, and social, and there’s still good organic (see also: FREE) engagement. When you post a pic, people LIKE it and it makes you feel all fuzzy inside. And for that reason, it’s worlds apart from your barren engagement desert of a Facebook business page which is REALLY just no fun at all. AmmmIright? Here’s the thing, though. The Instagram obsession has really hit a whole new level in the past few months.------WANT TO START A PODCAST? Seguim aquí i intentem millorar! Hem canviat el disseny de la web i el fil RSS del feed del podcast. Hi folks!Sorry for the lack of updates. Life happened, and it took me a while to catch up. For now, the schedule for this podcast is being changed from once a week (followed by nothing for months...) to once a whenever. At least until I get more of a buffer built back up. Anyway, happy listening!- RalphHi, and welcome to the Open Licensed Music Podcast, the show where we highlight music from artists who let you share their music. I'm Ralph Wacksworth, and today's episode is featuring pop and rock. Much of the music this week has vocals, so with that out of the way, let's get started.Released.cc - Overture Cello Hardcore (3:16)Mississippi ( The Phoenix Mix ) (5:46)Doing Eurodisco (Overboard) (ft. Shannon Hurley) (3:44)Matter of Time (Mumblemix) (ft. Shannon Hurley) (4:40)Making Me Nervous (2:31)That was Released.cc - Overture Cello Hardcore by Released.cc, which is available from SoundCloud and is licensed under an Attribution Noncommercial Share-Alike license. After that was Mississippi ( The Phoenix Mix ) by Loveshadow, Doing Eurodisco (Overboard) (ft. Shannon Hurley) by Ic3m4n, and Matter of Time (Mumblemix) (ft. Shannon Hurley) by Incoherent Mumble Train, all three of which are available from ccMixter and are licensed under an Attribution Noncommercial license. Finishing up was Making Me Nervous by Brad Sucks, which is available from Jamendo and is licensed under an Attribution Noncommercial Share-Alike license.I'm a big fan of webcomics, and there are a lot of really good ones out nowadays. But some cartoonists are not only awesome enough to put their work up online, but allow you to share it. For example:- xkcd, a gag-a-day comic covering general geek humor- Enjuhneer, a story comic about the cartoonist's experiences attending a tech college- Spiked Math, a gag-a-day comic about math, with a strong emphasis on horrible puns, and- Skin Horse, a story comic about mad scientists' monsters working in government social work jobsThey make for a very fun read, and the cool thing is they're all open licensed!Don't tell me (edited) (3:30)Shaky Bone Disease Epidemic (3:30)Circus Freak Flattery Drum N Bass Mix (4:19)Falling More In Love (4:46)That was a slightly edited version of Don't tell me by MOPI and Shaky Bone Disease Epidemic by shanel.tv, which are both available from Jamendo and are licensed under an Attribution Noncommercial Share-Alike license. Then we had Circus Freak Flattery Drum N Bass Mix by Kamihamiha, which is available from ccMixter and is licensed under an Attribution Noncommercial license. Finishing up was Falling More In Love by Celestial Grounds, which is available from Jamendo and is licensed under an Attribution license.Today's app-of-the-day is Dia, a very nice little diagram drawing and editing program. Basically, you draw in shapes and connect them with lines or arrows. It works great for flowcharts and wiring diagrams. And if you want to change something, you can just drag the shape and the lines connecting it to the other shapes move right along with it. It's available for Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows. Download it today at http://live.gnome.org/DiaNow for a short noncommercial break from one of our nonsponsors, followed by more music. The Memoirs of Sherlock HolmesDrop Down (3:14)The Highlights (edited) (3:41)Che (5:08)lee-dai jones lord he rides ep (3:39)That was Drop Down by Mike Falzone and the Peppermint Trick, a slightly edited version of The Highlights by Sunwill (which I have a hard time hearing the lyrics of, so I'm not entirely sure what it's about, but the music's awesome), Che by Thoola, and finishing up was lee-dai jones lord he rides ep by Lee-Dai Jones, all four of which are available from Jamendo and are licensed under an Attribution Noncommercial Share-Alike license. So, that's all for today. Remember - piracy of commercial music only proves your dependence on that model and justifies further censorship and restriction. So don't pirate it - replace it with something better. Listen to open licensed music, donate to the artists behind it, go to concerts, and buy music from artists whose record labels don't see you as their enemies. Support artists where your support actually counts. This episode was made using Gentoo Linux, Xubuntu Linux, Audacity, Audacious for organizing playlists, and Leafpad for notes, and is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Noncommercial Share-Alike license. Please join us for one hour of round table discussion. Would you like to ask a question or have your opinions mentioned on air? Email theshow@coffeewithrob.netJust a day late so here ya go. We're back with Episode lucky number 7 and we had quite a bit to say. Atheism is on the rise and Andrew and I try to figure out why and why new atheists are so hostile towards people with religious affiliations. Then, we move on to those on the left blaming those on the right over what happened in Arizona. I, once again, expressed my disdain over Sarah Palin, but that's to be expected. Then we wrapped it up by talking about China and why there's no reason to be worried about the 800 lb. gorilla.Music used: Cold Funk by Kevin MacLeod at the end of the show and Making Me Nervous by Bradsucks.Get the podcast:[iTunes] Subscribe to the show on iTunes[RSS] Subscribe to the show via RSS[MP3] Download the MP3 and listen on any playerOr listen here on the page:Stories covered this week:Militant atheism is on the rise: http://www.coffeewithrob.net/2011/01/there-are-way-too-many-atheists-that-id.htmlIt's not hate speech: http://www.coffeewithrob.net/2011/01/welcome-to-coffee-with-rob-highly.htmlChina is all right: http://www.coffeewithrob.net/2011/01/if-60-ton-gorilla-can-be-shot-down-from.html

Whew, that took a lot more work than usual. We finished recording this 2.5 hour show and then realized that most of the audio saved on the PC was unusable. We had so much fun compiling and recording all of your comments that we knew we had to fix it and get it out to you. Fortunately, we record with a backup and we were able to recover most of it. The audio quality where we read or respond in the last 2/3s of the show suffered quite a bit in the process, but we hope it's still something you can enjoy. Thanks so much to everyone that took the time to send in their thoughts and predictions. Now that's how you do a double elimination! If you're rooting for the underdogs, you've got to be happy with how that turned out. What do you think Nate is thinking after that last vote? He talks smack non-stop, but often seems to be completely out of the loop on the voting. Where does he stand in Raro now? Is he the solid #4 man or did he just get the boot to #5? Episode 10 is titled, "Why Would You Trust Me?". Who do you think that's directed at? What do you think Yul will propose as his great plan? Is he working on the plan because he's desperate to save someone or is it just forward looking strategy? Just how far do think Jonathan can make it now? Do you think it's possible for him to make final 5? Here are the tribes after episode 9. Aitutaki: Becky, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul Rarotonga: Adam, Candice, Jonathan, Nathan, Parvati Time for the merge and that means individual immunity challenges! My name is Brad and Brad Sucks is the name of my one man band. I write, record and produce songs and put them on this website for people to download and hopefully share and enjoy. There are also some albums for sale. In 2001, I started using the Internet (blogs, MP3s, P2P) to spread my music and not worrying so much about copyright violation. I've even been giving the source of my songs away for remixers to play with. I figured that spreading my music should be the number one goal and so far it's worked out pretty well. Despite giving my music away for free online, my songs have been licensed for television, played on commercial and campus radio, and I made enough money from licensing and sales to do a real pressing of my first CD http://www.myspace.com/bradsucks

It's called I Don't Know What I'm Doing. The song we're going to hear first is called "Making Me Nervous" and it comes to us courtesy of Podshow.com. DVDiva is on the couch watching a 12 hour epic called Broken Saints. Is it worth the investment? Tune in to find out.
