The Minnesota Vikings secured a commanding 30-12 victory over the Chicago Bears in a game that showcased both their strengths and areas for improvement. The Vikings maintained control throughout the contest, despite dealing with several self-inflicted penalties including offside calls and illegal motions. Josh Metellus and Dallas Turner delivered standout performances, with Metellus particularly demonstrating his versatility in Brian Flores' defensive scheme. On offense, while Sam Darnold faced some challenges, the team benefited from key contributions from Justin Jefferson and Cam Akers. However, the offensive line experienced some struggles, particularly after Brian O'Neill's injury. Head coach Kevin O'Connell's play-calling showed a commitment to maintaining balance between the running and passing game, though there were some communication issues to address. The Vikings' defense proved especially effective, shutting down the Bears' offensive efforts, particularly in the fourth quarter. A notable moment came when Oliver successfully recovered an attempted onside kick by the Bears. The Bears' failed two-point conversion attempt highlighted their offensive struggles throughout the game. With this victory, the Vikings improved their impressive record to 12-2, positioning themselves strongly for playoff contention. The team now looks ahead to their upcoming matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, with discussions centered around securing home-field advantage and their path to the NFC championship. 00:00 Introduction and Game Setup 00:33 Game Commentary and Analysis 02:03 Fan Interactions and Reactions 07:02 Commercial Break and Team Stats 14:13 Post-Game Discussion and Player Performance 22:53 In-Depth Analysis and Future Outlook 27:06 Defensive Strategies and Play Calling 27:45 Analyzing Darnold's Performance 28:29 Importance of Watching the Tape 30:04 Game Highlights and Key Plays 30:51 Player Performances and Insights 36:28 Offensive Line Challenges 41:49 Kevin O'Connell's Play Calling 44:27 Vikings' Season Overview and Future Prospects 52:33 Final Thoughts and Sign Off Fan with us!!! Caska and Cicero meet on a stormy night. Caska trembles at the omens he's seen until Cassius arrives and dispels his fears with the encouragement that they're not alone in fighting tyranny. Cinna nervously joins them, expressing her hope that Brutus will join their conspiracy. Cassius reassures her that Brutus is on board. Later that night, Brutus ruminates at home on the possibility of killing Caesar, deciding that murder is the only way to stop him. His servant, Lucius, announces the arrival of cloaked guests. Brutus welcomes them and Cassius introduces the co-conspirators: Trebonius, Decius Brutus, Caska, Cinna and Metellus Cimber. Together, they plan Caesar's assassination. Cassius suggests that they swear an oath but Brutus says oaths aren't necessary because their plan is noble. They all agree not to include Cicero in their plans. Cassius suggests that they also kill Mark Antony but Brutus advises against it, saying they will appear “too bloody” and that Antony won't be a threat once Caesar is dead. When Cassius worries that Caesar won't come to the Temple, Decius offers to bring him to the Temple herself. Cassius says they'll all go to Caesar's house together instead. Metellus suggests that they include Caius Ligarius in their plans and Brutus agrees, then sends everyone on their way, telling them all to freshen up so their looks won't betray their purposes. **** The PLAY ON PODCAST SERIES, “JULIUS CAESAR”, was written by WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE and translated into modern English verse by SHISHIR KURUP. Ted Metellus is race director of the TCS New York City Marathon. In many ways, he's a miracle maker. How else do you get 50,000+ runners from midtown Manhattan to Staten Island, and then back again (on foot) to finish in Central Park? Especially when they come from so many different countries and speak different languages? Metellus seems almost born to the position he holds. Raised in New York City with Haitian-heritage parents, he's big, bold, always smiling, and details-obsessed. He has also run 44 half marathons and two NYC Marathons, so he knows the needs of midpack runners as well as the elites. In this podcast he discusses: # how he went to the recent Chicago Marathon but didn't see the race's epic new women's world record. Why? He had to fly back to NYC for the Staten Island Half. # a few tricks that the NYC Marathon has learned from other big races # what the NY Road Runners are doing to enhance diversity in the organization and the sport # what new World Marathon Majors race(s) we might be seeing soon # why everyone seems to be running these days (and trying to get entries into the most popular marathons) # why he enjoys running road races himself # and much more WHERE TO FIND "RUNNING: STATE OF THE SPORT" Use your smartphone to download podcast apps from Apple, Spotify, Pandora, or YouTube Podcasts.

We've brought him back for the United Airlines NYC Half edition to help runners navigate getting to the start, how to have the best experience on the course (keep your head up!), and why this race is truly The One to Run. Fun fact: this year's running is the 10th anniversary of the professional wheelchair division. Ted talks about how the sport has grown and continues to evolve to support athletes of all abilities and how even the youngest athletes will get the chance to run in Times Square.SHOW LINKS:https://www.beyourpossible.com/FOLLOW NYRR: Instagram | Facebook | X | TikTokSUPPORT: Support the Set the Pace podcast! Minnesota Vikings safety Josh Metellus is in studio to play Initials with Vikings season tickets on the line!
Vikings safety Josh Metellus was already in the building to play the Initials Game with the Powertrip, so he stuck around to chat football with PA & Charch in the opening segment. Then, Chad Greenway is in studio!
Every Friday around 8:15-8:20 a.m. on KFAN 100.3 the Power Trip Morning show plays the Initials Game. The game involves 12 items people, place, things, phrases or anything as long as they share the same initials. All 12 items share the same initials. The contestants do not know the initials until they are revealed shortly before the game starts. Each item has 6 clues. As soon as the contestants know who or what the host is describing, they yell out their name. Their name is their buzzer. If the contestant gets it right, they get a point. If they get it wrong they are out for just that item. The item does have to be pronounced correctly. It is best out of 12 with tiebreakers if needed. Tiebreaker items have 3 clues.#InitialsGame #ThePowerTrip #KFAN1003FOLLOW The Power Trip on Social Media:► Like the show on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/PowerTripKFAN► Follow the show on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/PowerTripKFAN► Follow the show on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/PowerTripKFAN► Follow Cory Cove on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/CoryCove► Follow Chris Hawkey on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/Chris_Hawkey► Follow Meatsauce on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/Meatsauce1► Follow Mark Parrish on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/MarkDParrish► Follow Marney Gellner on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/MarneyGellner► Follow Aj Mansour on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/AjKFAN► Follow Zach Halverson on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/ZachHalverson
