I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Claudia, and we had fun! She is a native New Yorker with a great sense of humor and funny as all heck. We laughed, cried, laughed some more, talked about our similar backgrounds, and surviving catholic school.  I don't usually talk about religion, but wow - we had stories. SOOOO - Claudia's background was corporate – she was in the beauty industry for years, and was burned out. She had visited Jerusalem and had a spiritual awakening.  You have to listen to hear her story.  Claudia recently published a book – My Wall is Red – A Memoir of Discovery, currently available on Amazon. Her website is www.claudiadi.com and her podcast, available on Spotify, Amazon Music and wherever podcasts are heard, is C & C chatchat (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/c-c-chatchat/id1640325734).   --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/michelemarotta/support

This episode begins with recent Bunnymen news and addresses some listener comments. We read an insightful letter about "Pictures on My Wall" from friend-of-the-podcast All Those Things. We then plunge into a discussion about the band's first single, its release, its reception, and its cover art, which includes a brief detour into the music of Lori & the Chameleons. We then delve into the mysterious inscription on the seven inch single, which reads "The Revenge of Voodoo Billy". This leads to an exploration of ghost stories and hauntings of Liverpool. Finally, Will Sergeant sets the record straight in the conclusion of our interview with the legendary Bunnyman himself.

(http://www.advanceyourart.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/JesseWilsonPhoto1.jpeg) LIVE YOUR GREATER STORY! From its origins in working with inmates, Juilliard Theater Graduate and TEDx Speaker Jesse Wilson has created a life-changing program designed to help you Connect, Communicate, and Lead with your greatest source of power through the tools and strategies of the theater. No matter what change you are seeking to make in your life, no matter your profession, the simple, transformational teachings of “Lessons From The Stage” will awaken you to your true Power, Purpose, and Passion. It’s time to not just tell but LIVE your greater story… and share it with the world! MEET JESSE Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, empowerment trainer and coach, author, performer, and teacher, Jesse Wilson began acting at a very early age and hasn’t stopped acting since. Now he’s living his greatest role– helping people discover the confidence in their “voices” by using the obstacles in their own lives through the power of the theater. For years after graduating from The Juilliard School in New York City, it has been his personal mission to share the invaluable and universally impactful lessons from the stage in order for people to reach their maximum potential in both businesses and in life. Jesse Wilson considers all the work he does as one lesson: How to use the obstacle in our lives to tell a greater story. In early 2014, Jesse published “Faces On My Wall,” a novel to help transmit the idea that The Obstacle Is The Opportunity, and to raise personal awareness for those on the path of not only performance art but the bridge to living a successful and authentic life. Seen through the eyes of a teenager named Jamey Fuller who struggles to maintain the integrity of his “voice” while being an actor in New York, “Faces on My Wall” is about facing one’s own fears and insecurities, as well as the realities of life, and ultimately about facing and celebrating ourselves as we really are. Through “Lessons From The Stage,” with over 20 years in the entertainment industry, Jesse Wilson empowers everyone to discover the wondrous world of possibilities that lie within each of us. Rather than focusing on some distant external desire, we are guided by our own “inside voices” to look within and discover our true gifts. The secret to becoming a great performer… on stage, in business, and in life? The Obstacle Is the Opportunity. And it’s an inside job. In August of 1992, Warrant were flying high on the success of the mega-huge Cherry Pie album. While the success was nice, the band wanted to go in a tougher direction with their next album. Enlisting super producer Michael Wagener, the band headed into the studio in 1991 to lay down tracks for what would become Dog Eat Dog. Filled with big, crunchy riffs on songs such as Machine Gun, Hole in My Wall, and Inside Out, experiments in darker subject matter on tunes like Bitter Pill and Andy Warhol was Right as well as melodic tunes that could bring the house down such as Let it Rain and Sad Theresa, Dog Eat Dog was poised to be one of the all-time classic rock albums. The only problem was, a scraggly trio from Seattle named Nirvana was taking the world by storm literally days before the release of Dog Eat Dog. The tide shifted overnight and this amazing album never got it's just due....until today. Albums Unleashed Warrant Dog Eat Dog Producer Michael Wagener sits down with Chris and Aaron this week for Albums Unleashed Warrant Dog Eat Dog - Ep224. In this hour-plus discussion you'll sit along with the guys as they talk about the origins of the album, how Michael was selected as producer, pre-production stories and a full-on track by track that puts you in the room as Michael listens to the album for the first time in many years.
