Equals is a A24 Dystopian Sci-Fi film starring Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart (who was only a few years removed from the Twilight saga) about a post-apocalyptic world where emotions are essentially outlawed. Directed by Drake Doremus and written by Nathan Parker, this film is filled with brutalist architecture and bland tones while asking the question: if we could have no war and have fantastic scientific advances in medicine, would it be worth it to have no emotion? Equals premiered at the Venice International Film Festival before A24 picked it up for distribution. These A24 nerds debate and review Equals while delving into the deep philosophical questions the film asks. Does this introspection lead them to giving it a favorable review? Caution: movie spoilers. Next five A24 films we're reviewing: 38. Into the Forrest 39. Morris from America 40. The Sea of Trees 41. American Honey 42. We think they're worth their weight in gold, but as we always say, don't just take our word for it! Mentoring is on the minds of lots of Google searchers with questions like “who mentored Gordon Ramsay, “who mentored Justin Bieber,” and even “who mentored Jesus?” We don't have the answers to any of those questions by as your trusty guides in this mental health story called Reframe Of Mind we (Louise and Andy) were really keen to find out how mentors can make a difference and how a mentorship can help you. As we push ahead building our own little empire with Welcome Change Media, we were especially interested to find out how mentors help to create success with startup businesses like our own. This episode's guests include Indiginerd founder, Cienan Muir, female economy expert, Jacinta Carboon and 2021 NSW Young Australian of the Year, Nathan Parker, amongst others. Each guest has their own relationship to mentoring and being mentored and perfectly illustrate why mentoring is important not only in leadership, but in the workplace in general. Dessa vez com dois filmes razoavelmente recentes e divertidos, Victor, Fabio, Fer, Murilo e Thomas discutem Uncharted com seu Nathan Parker e MC Marky Mark de bigode e Tomb Raider, com corridas de bike e puzzles resolvidos sem sequer terem sido encontrados. Last week President Trump used the Defense Production Act to declare that meat processing plants are critical infrastructure. That means they need to find a way to stay open, while also practicing social distancing. Processing plants, like one in Walla Walla County, Washington, have been hotbeds for the spread of COVID-19. Nathan Parker runs the meat lab at Oregon State University. He tells us how Oregon’s meat processors and producers will be affected by the new order.
