The Giants hired Matt Nagy as OC, Greg Roman as run-game coordinator, and Dawn Aponte as their new Senior Vice President of Football Operations. And the Philadelphia Eagles has inexplicably let the best O-Line coach in the NFL walk out the door. We begin this podcast by addressing the Steve Tisch story. #giants #eagles #NFL This Podcast is brought to you by FanDuel Sportsbook. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. In this episode of Bama and Bourbon, Lance Taylor from The Next Round and Aaron Suttles of Yea Alabama break down Alabama Football's newest coaching hire as Kalen DeBoer tabs Adrian Klemm to lead the Crimson Tide offensive line. What does Klemm's background and coaching style mean for Alabama's physicality up front? Could this be the move that finally sparks a resurgence in the Tide's run game? LT and Aaron dive into what this hire says about DeBoer's vision for Alabama football moving forward and how it could impact the offense in 2026 and beyond. The conversation then shifts to the hardwood as the guys react to Alabama Basketball's dramatic win over Texas A&M, breaking down the key moments, standout performances, and what the victory means for Nate Oats' team as SEC play heats up. Is this another sign that the Crimson Tide is built for a deep run in March? All of it pairs perfectly with a smooth pour of Starlight Distillery Small Batch VDN Barrel Finished Bourbon, as the fellas talk Crimson Tide football, Alabama basketball, SEC storylines, and great bourbon. If you're an Alabama Football fan, Alabama Basketball fan, or a bourbon enthusiast, this episode is for you.
Eagles O-line coach Jeff Stoutland "stepped away". Are John Harbaugh and the Giants is his future? Who on the FAN staff has the strangest thumbs? Jerry's got the Knicks' double-OT thriller at the Garden, Tom Izzo's on a low blow on the court, Justin Jefferson's "look in the mirror" call to his teammates, CeeDee Lamb's thoughts on George Pickens, and Cooper DeJean's refusal to confirm those Nikki Bella dating rumors. Plus, a caller asks about Darren Mougey's status as Jets GM.
Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, ‘stepped away', and we are wondering if he might be coming to work under John Harbaugh.
In the 7am hour, we dive into the Eagles' offensive line and how they feel about the departure of Jeff Stoutland—specifically Lane Johnson.
Alabama Football enters a pivotal offseason as Kalen DeBoer begins shaping the next era in Tuscaloosa — and the stakes couldn't be higher. In this episode, the hosts break down why it's a positive sign that neither Alabama quarterback transferred, despite heavy portal movement elsewhere. DeBoer publicly called it a win, but the panel isn't convinced everything is perfect — especially up front, where Alabama may have lost too many offensive linemen to the transfer portal. The conversation centers on the QB competition between Austin Mack and Keelon Russell. Mack is viewed as a talented but still hard-to-evaluate option, while Russell's arm talent stands out immediately, with the hosts saying his ball comes off “like dynamite.” Ultimately, they agree the job will come down to mental processing, command of the offense, and comfort in DeBoer's system. The show also dives into Alabama's offensive line coaching change, explaining why the previous staff was replaced after multiple underwhelming seasons. New O-line coach Adrian Klemm arrives with a strong résumé as a run game coordinator and a track record of elevating line play — something the hosts agree Alabama desperately needed. From there, the discussion shifts to the NFL, where the panel calls it “embarrassing” that Bill Belichick was not elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, especially given Clem's ties to Belichick and his coaching tree. The episode wraps with a pair of powerful Alabama stories: Jake Coker recounts running into former coach Dameyune Craig at the Senior Bowl and reflects on how Craig fought to get him scholarship opportunities at both Florida State and Alabama. A tribute to Eddie Conyers, who passed away at 97 after serving as a referee at Alabama practices for nearly 60 years, including a classic Nick Saban story involving a flag Conyers had to pick back up after getting chewed out. From quarterback intrigue to coaching changes and Crimson Tide history, this is a must-watch conversation for any Alabama Football fan. The Texans are expected to make a push on the offensive line in free agency, and a specific name has popped up — so ITL debates whether fans should be interested and how much that move could actually help fix what ailed the offense. Plus, Figgy's Mixtape leans into winter chaos with storm-related stories, including someone making ice cream outside in the freezing cold, and more wild moments making the rounds.
The callers came loaded tonight as we dive deep into the Packers' defensive coordinator search and why Jim Leonard checks all the boxes. Al Harris lands an interview—vindication for one persistent caller—while we explore what a truly intelligent defensive mind actually looks like beyond scheme preferences and coverage shells. The offensive line discussion takes an interesting turn when we compare Chicago's turnaround to what Green Bay desperately needs, and a wild Keon Coleman trade theory emerges thanks to his Michigan State connection with Jaden Reed. Uncle Rico delivers multiple passionate rants about the absurd "cheap Packers" narrative that refuses to die, and we put the fake Malik Willis rumors to rest—stop getting your news from Facebook, people. Plus, Nate learns the hard way that questioning the host's work ethic results in deleted voicemails and a very public lesson about privileges versus rights on this show. In her new book, Finding Jackie: A Life Reinvented (Diversion Books, 2023), scholar and writer Oline Eaton examines the story of an era's biggest "star of life," Jaqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, as she coped with trauma and built a new existence in an unstable world during the time between JFK's murder in 1963 and the death of her second husband, Aristotle Onassis, in 1975. Jackie Kennedy was universally loved and to this day is still remembered as dignified, classy, a superior wife, mother, decorator, and hostess. But what story lies beneath that of the former First Lady? What is the true tale of the woman who later wore leather miniskirts, grew her hair long, and married infamous Greek shipping tycoon Ari Onassis? Eaton charts the taboo and often dismissed story of Jackie, the life of a woman reinventing herself time and time again. In Finding Jackie, she follows the "star of life" through her tragedies and triumphs with all the urgency and uncertainty she faced. Revealed is the Jackie the world has never seen, the Jackie who climbed pyramids, held fascinating jobs, lived abroad, married a scandalous man, saw a sex movie with him in a theater, and then judo-flipped a photographer on her way out. She frolicked braless and barefoot in Capri. She saved Grand Central. She stepped outside the rarefied world she'd been born into and exemplified the cultural changes of the 1960s and 70s. With newly released archival evidence, Finding Jackie illuminates the disconnect between the public story and what is now known of Jackie Kennedy Onassis' actual private life. Jackie has long been celebrated for her style rather than her substance but, when set in its full historical context, her story resonates today. Learn more about your ad choices. We found out very quickly who will be protecting Katin Houser next year for the Illini. Bret Bielema's staff land Wisconsin starting Center Jake Renfro through the transfer portal. The transfer portal is open and chaos is already ensuing. The portal opened on January 2nd and by midday there were over 4,500 Division I athletes in the portal. Andy Staples and Steven Godfrey explain the importance of the portal and how fans should view it. They also look at programs like Kentucky and Penn State and discuss what fans should expect from their teams in the transfer portal. Plus, they discuss the three different ways teams attack the transfer portal and what version works best. Then, they look at a team whose coaches are caught between the CFP and the transfer portal for a rival school. Andy and Godfrey discuss the on-going drama at Ole Miss and if they expect all of the assistant coaches to continue coaching through the CFP. Will some of them just stay recruiting with Lane Kiffin at LSU rather than going back to Ole Miss? The guys discuss how, although Ole Miss is a unique situation, the concept of CFP coaches pulling double-duty between game prep and recruiting is consistent across all four playoff teams. Plus, Andy and Godfrey take a look at the SEC's poor performance in the postseason. They discuss if the depth in the league is overrated and how the conference should be viewed going forward.Later, the guys take a look at Tulsa's innovative approach to transfer portal recruiting. Tulsa has launched the Portal House. A house they rented out, revamped and are having their coaches live in to use exclusively for recruits. They are also creating their own reality show from it.
