March 2, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 100 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers being poised to part ways with T Calvin Anderson by the start of the 2026 NFL year. We discuss the cap savings related to Anderson being released and why such a decision is likely to be made now with him. A Monday morning report indicated that Steelers T Broderick Jones needed neck fusion surgery following his 2025 injury, so Alex and I discuss that news update. We also address the upcoming fifth-year option decision the Steelers have when it comes to Jones, and we go over the amount that 2027 is now scheduled to cost. With Anderson being cut and Jones dealing with a neck issue, Alex and I address the probability and plausibility related to the Steelers addressing the tackle position in either free agency, the draft, or both. We also talk about the likelihood of the Steelers selecting both a guard and tackle in the first four rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft. The NFL released the 2026 salary cap number over the weekend, so Alex and I make sure to cover that big news during this show. With the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine now wrapped up as of Monday morning, Alex and I recap the entire event starting with the safety, cornerback, and tight end groups. We go over how enticing this year's safety class appears to be with the combine now over with. As part of our combine positional group recaps, Alex and I spend some extra time discussing the outlook of former Arkansas QB Taylen Green, who posted a phenomenal athletic testing profile over the weekend. Alex and I discuss the wide receivers, tight ends, running backs, and offensive linemen groups from this year's combine as well. Is there much to do about the combine meeting and interviews related to USC WR Makai Lemon? Did his draft stock really drop based on the weekend reports concerning his team meetings and podium interview? We spend a little time attempting to answer those questions about him during this show. Alex and I go over some of our global takeaways concerning the Steelers as it relates to the combine process. This 112-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the above recap and we end this episode by answering several emails we have received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Is Dylan Cook a realistic long-term action after showing promise in a small sample size protecting Aaron Rodgers last season? How does the possible need at tackle compare to the need at guard, where Isaac Seumalo is set to depart and Penn State's Vega Ioane is a top draft option? Seth and Sean discuss the tiers Bill Barnwell organized free agents into, and why the Texans should seriously think about the only top tier OL on the list in Tyler Linerbaum.
Seth and Sean react to others being petty and get petty themselves in the PettyCast, discuss if top tier free agent OL Tyler Linderbaum is the silver bullet solution to improve the Texans' interior offensive line, react to news that the Falcons plan on releasing QB Kirk Cousins, and assess if Kendrick Perkins is right when he says the Rockets will be one and done in the playoffs if they keep going how they are.

On the Monday edition of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo ponder the team's biggest needs heading into the NFL offseason. Should new coach Mike McCarthy and GM Omar Khan invest more in the offensive line and add a name like Vega Ioane to their young core that includes names like Broderick Jones, Zach Frazier, Troy Fautanu and Mason McCormick? And how much room for growth does that group still have to become an elite unit? ' Our duo ponders those questions, then considers the possibility that this could be a playmakers draft for the Steelers. Would receivers like Jordyn Tyson, Denzel Boston and Makai Lemon be exactly what this offense needs, regardless of whether the QB is Aaron Rodgers or someone else? How much would such a pick free up DK Metcalf on the outside? And is there a chance McCarthy will seek a running back to complement Jaylen Warren and Kaleb Johnson? Especially if Kenneth Gainwell doesn't re-sign? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Marc Vandermeer and John Harris debate Texans draft strategy, offensive line needs, and the NFL's defensive era, plus Nick Caserio's full Jim Rome interview. The guys dig into the big picture on this edition of Texans All-Access, opening with a thought-provoking question: What did Seattle's Super Bowl LX win tell us about the Texans and the NFL's future? The answer sparks a wide-ranging conversation about the league's defensive renaissance, why young quarterbacks are struggling to score in the red zone, and how Houston's elite defense positions the franchise to compete for a championship. The duo then plays "Either/Or," tackling the Texans' biggest offseason decisions. Will Nick Caserio stay at pick No. 28 or trade out of the first round again? Should Houston draft a right tackle or sign a veteran in free agency? And which AFC contender — the Patriots or Broncos — should you buy stock in for 2026? John makes a compelling case for accumulating 2027 draft picks in what projects to be a transcendent draft class, while Marc pushes for veteran offensive line help to avoid a rookie growing-pains season at right tackle alongside second-year LT Aireontae Ersery. The show closes with Nick Caserio's full Radio Row interview with Jim Rome, where the Texans GM reflects on winning 13 games, praises DeMeco Ryans' authentic leadership, addresses C.J.
