Hey you guys! Raylene Lightheart joins us again for a review of “The Goonies” which is prompted by me actually being in the area where it was filmed. A group of young misfits called The Goonies discover an ancient map and set out on an adventure to find a legendary pirate's long-lost treasure. This 1985 American adventure comedy film co-produced with Steven Spielberg and directed by Richard Donner from a screenplay by Chris Columbus was a nexus of Hollywood talent that launched many a career. This is a cult classic that many people still adore to this day. Join us next week as we have a new guest who is a longtime listener of the show, Reverend Lee, comes on to talk about “Swing Kids”. Show Notes: http://www.lastnighters.com/197 Reel Unconventional Film Analysis. We use movies as a starting point for people who may not be familiar with this way of thinking. A bit of a somber occasion as a remembrance of the great Norm MacDonald who passed away recently with a review of a brilliant film, "Dirty Work" with the wonderful Raylene Lightheart. Dirty Work is a 1998 American comedy film starring Norm Macdonald, Artie Lange, Jack Warden, and Traylor Howard and directed by Bob Saget. It flopped at the box office, but has since gained a cult following. While not a great film this will be more of a celebration of Norm and his body of work from calling out the Clintons on the View, his Conan appearances, and of course the original fake news on Weekend Update where he went after OJ hard and told us how murder was now legal in California. Whatever happens, I blame Frank Stallone. Join us next week as Raylene, if she's willing, will join us again for a review of “The Goonies” which is prompted by me actually being in the area where it was filmed. Well, you can nary find a person these days who's not muttering in one way or another about today's topic, so let's talk about it.  To those of you who may find this in the future, there was once an outbreak in China called the "Coronavirus". It may be the reason you never got a chance to know your grandfather. It may be the reason for your vaccine induces autism or mutation. It may be the cause of your hard life now fleeing from a hoard of zombies. Whatever the case may be,... there was some weird shit going on in the year 2020. Today's episode is our conversation with Raylene of Blast w. Johnny Rocket & Raylene Lightheart. Raylene's been doing some digging into the story surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak, the causes, and the strange inconsistencies in the official narrative.  In the second half, we transitioned more into general vaccines, government removal of exemptions (aka we gonna force ya), and some of the sheer blind idiocy in the vaccine debate.  Will we all be zombies soon? Will we all be forcibly autistic soon? How much do you trust your incompetent government with the life of your own child?... Actual Anarchy Podcast - AnCap Movie Reviews from a Rothbardian Perspective

We are joined by Raylene Lightheart and her lesser-half to talk about the movie "Contagion" about a global pandemic that some have mistaken as footage of current events. This should be a healthy discussion on a serious topic that will be both thought-provoking and entertaining. With the COVID-19 Coronavirus seemingly creating a panic worldwide where even Costcos in the US are having trouble keeping up with demand, it's a timely movie to be discussing. There is this weird mix of withholding and downplaying information to what appears to be fear-mongering and the use of the handling of the "crisis" as a bludgeon against the opposing sides in an already testy election cycle. Join us next week as we welcome back to the stage, Mr. Mike C. to discuss yet another Michael Mann film, "The Last of the Mohicans". Show notes: http://www.actualanarchy.com/170 Presented by www.ActualAnarchy.com Robert and I analyze popular movies from a Rothbardian/Anarcho-Capitalist perspective. We use movies as a starting point for people who may not be familiar with this way of thinking. Discussion of the plot and decisions that characters make in relation to morality and violations of the non-aggression principle are our bread and butter. We also will highlight and discuss any themes or lessons from Austrian Economics that we can glean from the film. The point is to show what anarchy actually is with instances that are presented in film. We publish at least once per week; and occasionally will do specials surrounding holidays or events (elections/olympics) and have guests. SUBSCRIBE, RATE AND REVIEW ON APPLE PODCASTS (or iTUNES)

It's hard to believe it was over 30 years ago that this movie kicked off the comic book movie era once again (and nearly killed it a few sequels later). We are of course talking about Tim' Burton's Batman from 1989. We bring back Shaheen, our man from Adelaide for this one as he is our go-to for all things Batman and DCEU. Set the scene: the last time we see Batman and Joker on screen, it's Adam West and Cesar Romero surfing with sharks that Fonzie later jumped over, anti-shark spray in the campy 60's TV show. Then you've got the director of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure making a film starring Mr. Mom as Barman, and of the the great actors of his generation dictating his own shooting schedule complete with top-billing. To say people were concerned would be an understatement. Next week, we come down with something as we bring back Raylene Lightheart and her lesser-half for a discussion of “Contagion”. Show Summary: On this week’s Electric Libertyland, Brian, Marc, and John are joined for their traditional liberty Thanksgiving feast by the “Blast Off” @onthelaunchpad crew of Johnny “Rocket” Adams and Raylene Lightheart. All the drinks, all the fun, all the liberty. Happy Turkey Day! About the Guest: Marc Clair (Editor-in-chief)- (articles) After being inspired by the Presidential 2008 Presidential campaign of Ron Paul to become an open advocate for the ideas of liberty, Marc co-founded the Lions of Liberty brand and website with three of his fellow Penn State alumni. That website soon evolved from opinion pieces and daily news articles into the Lions of Liberty podcast. John Odermatt – (articles) John, otherwise known as Odie, developed an interest in politics and economics at a young age. In 2007, John’s eyes were opened when a fellow contributor to this site, Marc Clair, introduced him to a unique Republican, Congressman Ron Paul. Ever since then, a significant amount of his free time has been dedicated to reading and studying the ideals of liberty. When John is not fervently defending liberty, he earns a living working in Project Controls for an engineering company. John is the host and producer of “Felony Friday” on the Lions of Liberty Podcast, which takes a deep look at the problems within the criminal justice system. Brian McWilliams – (articles) Brian McWilliams is a native Philadelphian currently living in Los Angeles and practicing public relations and stand up comedy with equal aplomb. His passion and concern for liberty was realized during Ron Paul’s 2008 campaign, which shed light on the troubling initiatives our government was embracing that infringed on the tenets that the United States was founded upon. Brian is the host and producer of “Electric Libertyland,” the Lions of Liberty Podcast’s weekly Wednesday look at current events, culture and comedy through a liberty lens. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/blastoff/support

He left 2 days after graduating high school. He spent a good bit of time in South Florida where he met his wife. In 2005 they moved to the Atlanta metro area where in 2007 he discovered the Ron Paul Liberty movement. This school of thought sent him down a rabbit hole of freedom-seeking culminating in the intellectual move to Voluntaryism. This radically capitalist school of thought permeates his life and led him to the teachings he now shares on the podcast entitled Free Man beyond the Wall. There are numerous podcasts out there that concentrate on the scholarly pursuits of economics and ethics. Most of them use language that goes over the head of the average person who is looking to grow in knowledge and in confidence. Pete talks like somebody that you would meet on the street because that’s where he’s from. More than anything he wants you to get excited and motivated about liberty. In November of 2017, Pete released his first book, “Freedom through Memedom – The 31-day Guide to Waking Up to Liberty.” It reached #4 in the Libertarian Section on Amazon.com. His new book, “The Kids are Not Alright – A Meme Inspired Primer on Encroaching Marxism in the West” was released in April 2018 and was the “#1 New Release” in 4 categories Pete has appeared on several podcasts including The Tom Woods Show, Dave Smith’s Part of the Problem, The Vin Armani Show and Lions of Liberty with Marc Clair.
