Most podcasters view guests as content sources missing a massive monetization opportunity right in front of them. Shaheen Mazloom, founder and CEO of Versa Business Solutions, took the opposite approach to turning podcast guests into paying clients and affiliate referral partners. His company facilitated over $1 billion in capital for 1,000 plus businesses while hitting top 200 Apple charts without spending dollar on marketing. In this episode of Podcasting Secrets with host Nathan Gwilliam, Shaheen reveals how setting up calls immediately after episodes converts guests into business opportunities both directions, why he learned more from podcast guests than $250,000 spent on courses and coaching, and how starting with mentors as first guests created inbox flooded daily with requests within two months. After being named top entrepreneur alongside Damon John Grant Cardone and Richard Branson, Shaheen demonstrates guests become distribution partners, clients and affiliates simultaneously when you lead with mutual value creation.Grow your podcast organically? Stop chasing paid advertising and start booking strategic guests who become distribution partners. Share this guest selection strategy with podcasters spending thousands on ads without results. Rethinking Educational Equity

Education can change a child's life. But in India, access to quality education is still far from equal.Millions of children are locked out of classrooms—not because they lack talent or ambition, but because opportunity never reaches them. According to the 2011 Census, 8.4 crore children between the ages of 5 and 17 are out of school. And for many, that absence shapes the rest of their lives. This is where movements like Teach For India emerge—stepping into the gaps where systems fall short, and working to ensure that where a child is born does not determine how far they can go.In Episode 2 of The Education Revolution, our special three-part series, we continue the conversation with Shaheen Mistri, Founder and CEO of Teach For India. In the previous episode, we traced Shaheen's personal journey. In this episode, we shift focus to what came next: the making of Teach For India. We explore:What “educational equity” truly means in a country as unequal as IndiaThe moment Shaheen realised Teach For India could grow beyond a small initiativeThe challenge of balancing scale with quality in education reformWhether India is moving fast enough to bring every child into schoolThe role—and limits—of technology in addressing educational inequityThis is a conversation about building systems that serve children better, the courage required to think big, and the hard, often invisible work of sustaining change over time.CreditsHost: Shreya MGuest: Shaheen MistriResearch: Alisha CArtwork: Rajnikant SProduced by: The Good SightConcept: The Good SightFor feedback or to participate, write to us at contact@thegoodsight.org#TeachForIndia #EducationReform #EducationForAll #EdEquity #TFIMovement #TheGoodSight #EducationRevolution

Education in India isn't just about schools, classrooms, or textbooks. It's about possibility. It's about whether a child is seen, heard, and given the chance to imagine a different future. And yet, for millions of children across the country, quality education still slips through the cracks—not because they lack talent or potential, but because the systems around them fail to create opportunity. It's a gap we've lived with for far too long. But every once in a while, someone chooses to challenge that gap.In this special three-part series, The Education Revolution, we sit down with Shaheen Mistri—Founder and CEO of Teach For India, and one of the most influential voices shaping the future of learning in India. What began as a young woman's decision to return to Mumbai at 18 has since grown into one of the country's most powerful education movements. From the early days of Akanksha to building Teach For India into a nationwide force, Shaheen's work reminds us that real change begins with empathy, courage, and an unwavering belief in every child's potential. In this first episode, we trace her journey back to where it all began. We explore:What inspired her to work with children in low-income communitiesThe stark realities of education she witnessed in Mumbai's slumsThe early struggles and defining moments that shaped AkankshaThe lessons she learned from children that transformed her approach to leadershipWhat continues to motivate her after more than three decades in the sectorThis is a story about purpose, persistence, and the quiet power of showing up—day after day—for children who deserve every opportunity to thrive.CreditsHost: Shreya MGuest: Shaheen MistriResearch: Alisha CArtwork: Rajnikant SProduced by: The Good SightConcept: The Good SightFor feedback or to participate, write to us at contact@thegoodsight.org#TeachForIndia #EducationReform #EducationForAll #EdEquity #TFIMovement #TheGoodSight #EducationRevolution

Centrist host Mark Bland is done with the modern Democratic Party. In a fiery 40+ minute solo rant, he declares the 2024 loss wasn't just Trump's win; it was self-inflicted by spineless liberal leadership. The trigger? Eight Democratic senators (Fetterman, Kaine, Durbin, Shaheen, Hassan, Rosen, Cortez Masto, Angus King) broke ranks and voted with Republicans to reopen the government, restoring SNAP benefits but surrendering all leverage. Bland calls it the ultimate capitulation: "Checks and balances are real, but folding the second things get hard is why we lost." He torches Schumer, Fetterman ("a really tall idiot"), and the entire 2025 liberal class as "feckless and useless," accuses senators of pocketing massive retroactive paychecks while Americans suffered, and says local St. Louis-area liberals flake on commitments the same way national Dems flake on principle. Bland, a longtime moderate who's pulled from both sides, now sounds the alarm: the party needs a complete leadership purge before 2026 midterms. He's still pro-liberal policies (universal healthcare, etc.) but refuses to carry water for cowards anymore. Bonus burns: Trump got mercilessly booed at a Commanders game, Epstein files are allegedly coming, and the party that claims to fight the rich just handed senators fat checks. Mark Bland is officially off the plantation. The Left Hook just went fully independent.

In 72 hours, my life changed forever. In August 2023, nurses rushed me to Portsmouth Regional Hospital, where they discovered my dangerously high blood sugar levels, the classic precursor for a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes. I stayed for the weekend, and left the hospital as a completely different person.Since then, diabetes has made my life extremely complicated:Waking up sweaty in the middle of the night by dangerously low blood sugar levels. Carrying sugary snacks on me everywhere I go. Visiting the pharmacy every other day to pick up yet another (expensive) piece of diabetes supplies.Nearly dying on multiple occasions. That's the reality for a Type 1 diabetic, a reality that's intimately understood by actress Elle Shaheen (yes, that Shaheen). And this November, Diabetes Awareness Month, it's about time to shed a light on life with this disease.Diagnosed at eight years old, Elle - daughter of N.H. politician Stefany Shaheen and granddaughter of U.S. senator Jeanne Shaheen - has lived with this disease the majority of her life. Even after 18 years of managing this disease, diabetes still haunts her every day.Elle is the subject of the 2016 New York Times bestseller, "Elle & Coach," Stefany Shaheen's book about Elle's diagnosis, the effect of diabetes on their family, and the medical alert dog - Coach - that brought some much-needed relief to the Shaheen's chaotic lives. From the West End of Portsmouth, we discuss our near-death experiences with diabetes, her work as an advocate, meeting President Obama, growing up with a medical dog by her side at all times, and whether researchers will find a cure in our lifetimes.Plus, Elle's time in the Portsmouth theater scene, her Broadway dreams, and life in Hollywood during the entertainment industry's existential crisis. To support finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, you can donate here to Breakthrough T1D, the organization responsible for leading the fight against this disease.CHAPTERS:What is Type 1 diabetes? SEASON 4 EPISODE 33: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: From beyond the grave Jeffrey Epstein has accused Trump – and there’s a smoking gun and maybe four of them. The allegations that one of Epstein’s female victims “spent hours at (Epstein’s) house with (Trump)…” that Trump was “that dog that hasn’t barked” and he “has never once been mentioned”… those specific allegations, MADE by Jeffrey Epstein in 2011 and acknowledged by Ghislaine Maxwell minutes later. And now, Trump and his Republicans – especially Speaker of the House Mike Johnson – and his MAGA enablers – and his Fox News propagandists – are complicit in another extraordinary, disgusting cover-up: cover-up of pedophilia, a NEW cover-up - right now - playing out in real time as Trump tries to blackmail Republicans into burying the Epstein FILES. A cover-up, most of all, of Trump’s GUILT. Trump is guilty and Epstein has provided the evidence. And now we turn to the real crisis for Trump. If what the Democrats released yesterday had been the worst thing in the files, Trump could've held a news conference explaining it all away and welcoming full release. Instead he went into full panic and dragged Lauren Boebert into the Situation Room to try to bully her into removing her name from the discharge petition. Didn't work. Now reportedly 100 Republicans in the House will vote for discharge and against Trump and a MAGA lynchpin has declared MAGA is dead. So what is next? What if Trump pardons Maxwell, or commutes her sentence, it will cost him his presidency. Because a pardon or commutation of her would amount to a confession by him. So what MORE is in the Epstein Files? To what lengths will Trump go to stop the release of the files? And when will Trump’s role in the Epstein Crimes, in his past cover-ups of them, in his current cover-up of them, in his cover-up of whatever he is guilty of - when will the true horror of Trump’s guilt become so overwhelming, so disqualifying, that Republicans will have to make the choice between covering up for Trump or saving THEMSELVES? How much time does Trump have left before Epstein destroys him? AND AN UPDATE ON TRUMP'S ACCELERATING DEMENTIA: He wants troops sent to a place that doesn't exist. "The Miracle Mile Shopping Center in Chicago," he wrote. There IS no "Miracle Mile Shopping in Chicago" but there is one in Monroeville, PA, and if Trump wants to send troops into Chicago to protect Monroeville he's further gone than we have ever imagined. B-Block (37:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Some late quotes from the Democratic Quislings Jeanne Shaheen and Dick Durbin, and Independent (from reality) Angus King. Bill Pulte and the 50-year mortgage and the lowered standards for getting one. And America's Sweethearts, Kash Patel and Alexis Wilkins and Alexis is suing three MAGA podcasters and being attacked by Candace Owens. C-Block (49:30) GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK. SEASON 4 EPISODE 32: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: Quislings. Traitors. Cowards. Capitulators. Collaborators. Fakes. Frauds. Enablers. Betrayers. Failures. Political Prostitutes. Senators Durbin, Kaine, Fetterman, Shaheen, Cortez-Masto, Hassan, Rosen, and King need to be expelled from the Democratic party and any that mistakenly think they have a chance of retaining their seats must be primaried. Must be. They are not progressives, they are not pragmatists, they are not even moderates. They are fools. Their careers must be ended. Now. Durbin, Kaine, Fetterman, Shaheen, Cortez-Masto, Hassan, Rosen, and King. Now. Done. Forgotten. Let us hear their names no more. Last night these eight Senators voted to fold, without any pressure, without any bribe, without anything. They voted to kick millions of Americans off ObamaCare in order to reopen and fund the government – for only three months, mind you – in exchange not for magic beans but just the promise of a vote in which they’ll GET magic beans – a vote ON the health care subsidies - IF half a dozen Republicans defy Trump. A vote about magic beans. Which they won’t win. Their rationalizations were pathetic and suggested their familiarity with the reality of the Senate, of Trump, of the Republican Party, was less than that of the average Senate Page. What's worse is, this happens now as the reality becomes more and clear: Trump’s mind is gone. It’s so bad even The Washington Post noticed. It’s so bad The Washington Post even put it on their front page. He’s hyping weight loss drugs. In The Oval Office. And how he and he alone can bring down their price. And a weight loss patient there to extoll weight loss drugs and say how safe they are and praise Trump’s wonderfulness… collapses. Folds. Drops, slow-motion, like a deflating inflatable tube man at a used car sales lot. Trump – whose mind is gone - not only doesn’t help the guy on the floor… he’s offended he upstaged him. And then Trump – whose MIND IS GONE - falls asleep. For the second time. Or as The Washington Post put it: “A Closer Look At Trump’s Apparent Struggles To Fight Off Sleep In The Oval Office” read the Post headline. “A Washington Post analysis of multiple video feeds found that the president spent nearly 20 minutes apparently battling to keep his eyes open…” 815 words follow. And four pictures. One of Trump – whose mind is gone - with one eye closed. One with one eye closed and two fingers rubbing it. One with both eyes closed. One where you can almost SEE the snoring. Even. The Washington Post. Knows It. Let’s step back from the nuts-and-bolts of the government shutdown to try to process how it was perceived by Trump…whose mind is gone. HE thought it would be a GOOD idea to cut off food stamps so lines at soup kitchens would get longer just as it was getting cold. He thought the correct political move as the Holidays approached was… government-sponsored starvation. He believed that the country would praise him for… gradually shutting down all air travel – including all air travel FOR HIS SUPPORTERS – first for Thanksgiving and then for Christmas and New Year’s. He thought these were good political moves. SPORTSBALLCENTER (30:00): Yes, legal gambling could send two Cleveland pitchers to jail for 65 years. But no, they didn't actually make a Shohei Ohtani Used Jockstrap baseball card. B-Block (38:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Politico thinks the first thing a Mayor-Elect of New York has to do is answer questions about the 2028 Senate elections. The Breaker media newsletter finds the New York Times fricasseeing its own digital books. That's right: FIFA isn't just polishing Trump's knob, it's inventing a "Peace Prize" so it can polish it harder. And Dr. Oz wants you to lose 400 pounds by the midterms. C-Block (55:00) WHY I'M NOT A HOCKEY ANNOUNCER: One of my favorite sportscasting stories: how my budding career as a plucky pucky play-by-play guy was thwarted when the team we were broadcasting "forgot to rent the rink" - and how I avenged myself.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this Labor Day episode, Shahin dives into the financial implications of the holiday and shares ten crucial financial habits people can adopt before the end of the year.Labor Day is identified as the second-biggest retail spending weekend (following Black Friday), significantly influencing markets as banks close and September trading commences [i]. During this period, travel demand spikes, leading to increased costs for airlines, hotels, and gas [i]. Additionally, 40% of states adjust their minimum wages, and the rise of gig work reflects underlying financial insecurity [i]. Union workers, despite shrinking membership, continue to earn 10–20% more [i]. Retirees, in particular, are advised to steer clear of traveling during this surge [i].The episode also highlights how Labor Day serves as a critical moment for planning and year-end preparation [i]. Many companies initiate sales as their fiscal years conclude in September, and individuals are encouraged to review their retirement savings, noting that the average 401k for ages 45–54 is approximately $150,000 [i]. It's an opportune time to review tax deductions, tackle credit card debt, and strategize for Q4 and holiday spending [i]. The discussion further touches upon the reality that some workers lack paid time off, underscoring the importance of reassessing financial resilience [i].To help listeners build wealth and financial stability, Shaheen shares 10 essential financial habits:• Track spending to identify savings opportunities [i].• Automate savings into high-yield accounts [i].• Monitor net worth regularly [i].• Increase retirement contributions, even by a small percentage (e.g., 1%) [i].• Pay off high-interest or small debts [i].• Avoid maxing out 401k too early to optimize company match benefits [i].• Rebalance and diversify investments [i].• Start a side hustle for additional income [i].• Maximize tax deductions with the help of a professional [i].• Set clear, personal financial goals [i].

Join Jim and Greg for 3 Martini Lunch as they break down another Senate Democrat retirement that has Republicans eyeing a pickup, a suspicious document destruction order at USAID, and the GOP debate over federal spending.First, they react to New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen's decision not to seek a fourth term, making her the third Senate Democrat to retire this cycle. This creates a prime GOP pickup opportunity in 2026, especially if former Gov. Chris Sununu enters the race. They also take a peek at key Senate races in North Carolina and Minnesota.Next, they react to a troubling directive at USAID, where employees were urgently ordered to shred or burn sensitive documents. The acting executive secretary's directive raises alarms, and Jim questions why USAID would even possess so many classified materials. They argue this incident further fuels public skepticism about government waste and secrecy. Finally, they tackle the clash between President Trump and Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie over federal spending. Massie opposes the GOP-backed bill to fund the government at current levels through September, prompting Trump to denounce him and vow that Massie will face a tough primary next year.
