A three-car pile up slowed traffic near Rodney's Muffler, I-20 at MM 124 slowed traffic, a minivan crashed on Walker Bottom Road in the Clarkdale Community, totaling the vehicle. Newton PD is investigating a Death; no details have been released. A fire destroyed a home and four cars on 35th Ave on Wednesday morning in Meridian. A portion of Hwy 19 and 65th Ave had to be closed due to flooding Wednesday afternoon. MPD and MFD responded to a wreck at Country Club and 43rd Street, and minor injuries were reported.

Highway 21 near Sebastopol was shut down as officials worked to clear the roadway from an accident on Tuesday morning. A man was killed while fishing at Ross Barnett Reservoir on Tuesday, he was struck by lightning.
