Finishing their meal, the Heroes thanked the barkeep and stepped outside. The crowd continued to grow rapidly, flowing like a strong tide through the city streets. The Heroes are pulled into the throng of people, unable to work their way across the street. They continued being pulled along, unsure of what would happen to them at the end of the stream of vendors, warriors, and nobles alike. After a few minutes they were dumped out into a large courtyard. Regrouping, they looked around to get their bearings and discovered they had ended up in front of the arena. The crowd flowed up to the entrances of the arena, fighting to be the first in line. The unfortunate guards stationed at the entrances did everything they could to maintain order amongst the rowdy crowd. Massive thanks to Ronny for hanging out on the show! We are back from vacation from Spain but we missed the shrooms that you can only find in the Colorado wilderness. Ronny Pascale is our guest of honor this week! We went over nine real pieces of garbage from the March '01 edition of Playboy Party Jokes. Joke topics include a cowardly ex-boyfriend, ten men and one woman dangling from a helicopter, and a husband so well endowed that his wife is more than happy to take on a life of indentured servitude. For the record, *I* don't think Captain America sucks, my guest Ronny Pascale does. What does Ronny have against Captain America? Ronny watched the MCU movies and then jumped onto Marvel Digital Unlimited and read a bunch of issues. Many of them were Spider-Man, so we talk about the time I read Amazing Spider-Man starting from the beginning and going until about issue #250. Also, shoutout to Tom DeCillis for his amazing bit about Captain America not being woke. What is Ronny's comic book origin story? Who is Johnny The Homicidal Maniac? Who has the best villains? What's the difference between Amazing Spider-Man and Ultimate Spider-Man? Which MCU movie is popular with comedians? How could Ronny not like the Civil War movie (he did like the comics)? What was the problem with "Smallville"? Reading tips: Amazing Spider-Man (from the beginning), Ultimate Spider-Man (also from the beginning), Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy (Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning), The Irredeemable Ant-Man (Robert Kirkman), Captain America and the Falcon, The Ultimates (first series, Mark Millar), Johnny The Homicidal Maniac Watch tips: All MCU movies, Glass trilogy (especially the first two), Sorry To Bother You (not a superhero movie but awesome weird film) Recorded 3-5-21 via Cleanfeed

In this episode, I interview comedian and improv performer Ronny Pasquale! It's been 15 years since Ronny's mother died at the age of 39, when Ronny himself was just 20. He has since managed to combine parts of his pain with his love of dead-mother jokes as a way to cope with the difficult parts of life without her. We talk about how important being about to have tough conversations can be, as well as just how tough it can be to write jokes about topics the audience might be trying NOT to think about. In this episode we talk to comedian, writer, extra and, professional cupcake eater Ronny Pascale. Ronny discusses some of his radio and tv work with us, as well as some of his childhood shenanigans. Ronnys silly sense of humour is genuinely infectious at times, but in a good way…. Lol. As for the hypothetical, we each delve into our plans to fake our own deaths. What starts out detailed plans quickly devolves into absurdity. You can find Ronny online at: Twitter- @ronnypascale Instagram – @ronnypascale
Today's guest does it all - music, improv, stand-up. If we find out today that he's a dentist, I won't be all that surprised. Well, I'd be a little surprised because when would he have time to do all the comedy while pulling teeth? Tune in to hear from Ronny Pascale.

Ronny Pascale is a comedy writer, producer, and improv performer form New Haven Connecticut. Ronny knew he wanted to be a performer at a young age, but he would not begin pursuing it until his mid-20's. He attributes this long delay to the fact that he grew up feeling very insecure and shy. Ronny became interested in improv after seeing a show he heard an advertisement for over the radio. Ronny began studying improv in New York City, and slowly began breaking out of his shell. Full show notes available at http://ktla.com/SpokenDreams.
Watch the sketch on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/embed/KroQgzw62y0 Ronny Pascale has been bi-coastal and is really focused on poop. I don’t know why those two things are connected, or why this makes Ronny interesting, but it was a fun conversation to be sure! Ronny has the podcast “Shit Show: The Poopcast” (The colon is pronounced) where he has conversations with other comedians about bowel movements. Yup, you heard that right… the show is reaching new heights for content. Actually, Ronny and I do not discuss our excremental adventures (although, we all have stories, am I right?) but we do discuss his trek from Manhattan to Long Beach, CA which, instead of taking a convenient plane ride, Ronny decided that a 96-hour train ride would be a waaaaaaaay better option. Ronny and I also discuss online dating, because I wanted to get a perspective with someone who has seen both sides of the dating country. We also get to learn that Ronny was once the subject of an article about online dating and, well, it wasn’t flattering. Make sure to follow Ronny on Twitter, he is absolutely hilarious, and you can do so @ronnypascale. You can also book him to come be funny for you at ronnypascale@gmail.com. You can probably see him doing stand-up around Los Angeles, although I’m sure occasionally he sits down as well. About this week’s sketch: Dating is fun. What isn’t funny is that first date, that is some serious business. If you decide to do something like coffee or happy hour, the object of your affection might be underwhelmed and just bolt. If you decide that dinner is the better option, then you might be forced to pay for an expensive meal with someone that you do not really enjoy spending time with. If you decide to go on an all-day hike, you have to actually go and hike and exercise is lame. Whatever you do, you might want to think twice about planning something too grandiose, or you might end up in a situation like this one… Did you want to show your support for the show, and look awesome at the same time? Well, you can! You can now purchase merchandise with the Sketch Comedy Podcast Show logo all over it! Got a suggestion for a shirt? Shoot it over and we can make it a reality! Just go to http://bit.ly/SCPSmerch and take a look at our wears (see what I did there?) If you haven’t noticed, it’s taking me a lot longer to get episodes out. So, as an adjustment to the release schedule, I will be releasing new episodes every 2 weeks going forward and on the off weeks I will be putting out classic sketches. That also means more time to enjoy the episodes of your favorite guests! Maybe next episode might catch your fancy, I have Sébastien Roger de Nuñez, which I have no doubt fumbled in saying. Sébastien knows how to speak 12 languages and teaches improv all over the world. It’s a great conversation and a funny sketch as well! Special Guest: Ronny Pascale | Poop emoji and Associate Artistic Director of The People’s Improv Theater.
