Star Warsologies: A Podcast About Science and Star Wars

In this episode of Star Warsologies, we talk to Dr. Ryder Waldron, a dentist and huge Star Wars fan! On this episode, we talk about mouths - teeth, tongues, and lips all contribute to how an animal eats, sounds, and plays musical instruments. Do clone troopers have baby teeth or did they skip right to adult teeth? How might Max Rebo and Sy Snootles eat? Why do Sith Lords have such terrible oral hygiene? We also talk about porgs, of course! Show Links: Check out Ryder's Star Wars podcasts! Star Wars School of Dentistry, follow the show on Instagram, and Idiot's Array, also on Instagram! A Returning Star Wars Bad Batch podcast that asks more questions than it answers. Today we are asking questions on Bad Batch Season 2, episodes 7 & 8 - ‘'The Clone Conspiracy, and Truth & Consequences, which both premiered on Disney+ on Wednesday February 8th. Along with me, Greg McLaughlin, is my co-host and fellow Card squadron winger Gregory Cass from @eyeoncanon. But since this was a double episode drop, we brought in some backup to comb through it. Our special guest this week is Karl LeClair from the long time podcast staple, the Wampa's Lair who just celebrated their 500th Episode. You can find them online: @WampasLair on Twitter @the_wampaslair on Instagram Website http://www.starwarsreport.com/category/wampaslairpodcast/ Patreon https://www.patreon.com/wampaslairpodcast Apple Podcast feed https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-wampas-lair-a-star-wars-podcast/id480073257 This is an insert series podcast in the regular feed where Greg, Karl and I will trade questions to each other that we have not talked about before. There is of course a chance we could take another's question. Since we are talking about a current series of Star Wars, if you haven't seen the episode in question, this is a warning that there will be spoilers for these shows. If you haven't watched yet, we both invite you to please come back and listen after you've watched. For this contest of questions there are no points, bonuses or lightning rounds, but there is THE GREG's LIST: Which is a selection of podcasts and other assorted media we ingested between shows to see if they have answered any of our questions and then some. It's also one of my favorite parts of the show as it highlights just some of the amazing work begin done out there in the community.   Tarkin's Top Shelf #26: 'The Last Jedi' and The Brightest Light Casts the Darkest Shadow!  Welcome to another edition of Tarkin's Top Shelf! In this episode, Becca invites Ryder Waldron from Idiot's Array Podcast to join her in a thought-provoking discussion. They focus on a specific analogy from Matthew Stover's novel adaptation of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and how it ties-in with Star Wars: The Last Jedi.  After a bit of news coverage, they get right into their main topic, connecting the literary-verse to the big screen. They dive into an in-depth conversation on Matthew Stover's analogy, "The brightest light casts the darkest shadow."   That said, will this analogy show up in The Last Jedi? Is it already a theme? A curse the Skywalker bloodline carries over and over, generation to generation? The brighter the light, the darker the shadow? After all, you can't light a candle without casting a shadow.    Help us spread the word about the show Click here to subscribe via iTunes Click here to subscribe via RSS Click here to subscribe via Stitcher Click here to subscribe via Google Play Music Feedback and Promotion Send feedback and comments to TTSPodFeedback@gmail.com Follow us on Twitter@TarkinsTopShelf Like us on Facebook: Tarkin's Top Shel
