We open on Fives meeting with Shaak Ti. Shaak says that the chancellor wants the tumor. Shaak is going to take the tumor to the Jedi temple first, and Nala Sey protests.AZ3 runs into Fives in the halfway, and their clone guards aren't super good at the whole guarding thing. AZ lets slip that Fives is to be mindwiped and assigned to Sanitation duty. Fives is done getting the runaround and as it turns out an Arc trooper is more effective than four guard clones who never made it off Kamino. Imagine what he could do with Sanitation, probably some sort of Space Cloaca Maxima. Dave Filoni call me.Fives steals a ship and makes a break for it, but ditches it to swim back to the cloning facility. AZ3 is apparently a distant cousin to Lazerbeak and turns into a jetski. Meanwhile Nala Sey calls Darth Tyrannus. Tyrannus gives her marching orders: the Jedi must never know about the true nature of the inhibitor chip.Fives and AZ3 start doing science: the implant is foreign which means it's intentional. Fives starts taking off his helmet like he's the main character in a Marvel movie. Fives has AZ remove his own chip because he's maybe the best character in Star Wars? But do all clones have the chips? To the embryo farm!! Looks like all the clones have the chips. Nala Sey interrupts and explains the truth: Sipho Dyas ordered the chips implanted. Fives is upset that the Jedi might have done this to the clones. Shaak shows up and Fives basically gets to the heart of the matter when he says that the chips have to be removed or the entire Grand Army of the Republic could be compromised.Nala Sey says that Fives should be terminated and that he is property. Interesting production note, Ayn Rand and the Daughters of the Confederacy have writing credits on this episode. Weird. Shaak says that he's actually property of the Republic, that and a lightsaber apparently carry the day. Fives and Nala Sey are to accompany Shaak and the evidence to Coruscant.Fives is drugged by Nala Se, right under JEDI MASTER Shaak Ti's nose, and then presented to Chancelor Palpatine. Nala Sey insists the chip in every clone is fine, but Fives protests. Palpatine suggests he speak to Fives alone… So he can be more open and speak his mind. During this private conversation, Fives “attacks” Palpatine and is chased by Shaak Ti. She loses him when she orders a clone to “close the blast door”... always a mistake.Coruscant goes on lockdown looking for the wayward clone. Upon Anakin's suggestion, Mace instructs Anakin to conduct a “quiet investigation”... Anakin's strong suit. Fives goes on the run to a clone bar, the 79's. Fives explains to 501st clone trooper Kix what is going on and that he needs Anakin and Rex to meet him at some secret coordinates.Anakin and Rex show up at to meet Fives. He starts to explain what's going on with the chips and what's going on in his head… and in the process sounds a little cuckoo while explaining his theory. Palpatine's clone guards show up and shoot Fives… But not before he was maybe getting through to at least Rex, if not Anakin as well.Palpatine tells the Jedi that Nala Sey found out it was something in the water in Ringo Vinda, and that the Kaminoans have already developed a vaccine to administer to all clones. Palpatine and Dooku Spacetime (™) and congratulate themselves on covering up order 66.https://twitter.com/ClosingCrawlhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/closing-crawl/id1530133296https://www.closingcrawl.com/Merch at: https://bit.ly/spacetimetm
This episode was a mix between a side mission of a side mission and Omega teaching Crosshair to meditate. Fee gives them some intel on M-Count's information, and informs them that the Empire has been hiring bounty hunters to capture beings with a high M-Count, so meaning, Jedi or just beings who have a higher midichlorian. The Bad Batch tell her Fennec Shand the bounty hunter would know. Hunter tells her that Fennec was hired by the Kaminoans to capture Omega, and she might know the intel on this M-Count business. Hunter makes Omega stay with Crosshair, while Wrecker and Hunter go to find Fennec. Meeting her in a bar, they tell her what they're looking for, and she hits us with a side mission, if you do this for me, I'll tell you what you want to know type of deal. There's a bounty on a praying mantis, they have to go to a swampy planet to get him, so they do, disable some mines, fight some gators, and bag the bounty. Crosshair tries to fix his hand by getting it examined by AZ and they deduce that it's all in his head from the rough experiments they did on him in Tantis. I think they probably mentally broke him and he feels traumatized so he's always having anxiety now. So while Wrecker Fennec and Hunter bag the bounty, Crosshair learns meditation from Omega. This will most likely heal him and he'll have steady aim again. She learned Jedi meditation from Gungi the Jedi. It makes me wonder if her or crosshair meditating will develop their possible force powers somehow, assuming they have any. Especially considering Omega has blood that connects to Palpatine's M-Count, or she has M-Count adaptable blood, will she now become stronger in the force? I think it's leading into that. Upon the success of the mission, Fennec drops Wrecker and Hunter off at their docking bay, and tells them she'll be in touch once she gets their information. She blasts off into space and calls who I think is Asajj Ventress, who is a bounty hunter, who is supposed to be dead, but I guess the books in canon don't matter anymore. Her theme song can be heard during this scene, the same one from the Clone Wars. In the next episode I think Asajj will probably track the bad batch down and try to capture Omega for the Empire because at the end of the day, that's a bigger bounty than anything. Kamino wasn't always a water planet. There is a deep and rich history of Kamino and their people, and the sad story about how they had to genetically mutate their genes in order to survive. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Gifted with precognitive Force visions, over a decade before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, who had a seat on the Jedi High Council prior to the occupation of Naboo, commissioned the Kaminoans to grow a clone army for the Galactic Republic. The Jedi Master had experienced visions of the galaxy being ravaged by a coming war, but when he attempted to warn his fellow Jedi about it, his colleagues on the Council didn't believe him and when the Jedi Master wouldn't let go of his notions, the Order removed him from the High Council. Certain in the veracity of the visions the Force had revealed to him,Sifo-Dyas instead decided to pursue the matter on his own in secret. He believed the Republic would need an army of their own to prevail against the coming darkness. So, pretending to work under the authorization of the Jedi Council and the Galactic Senate, Sifo-Dyas made contact with the Kaminoan cloners, and asked them to create the Grand Army of the Republic for him. However, unknown to the Jedi Master, the Sith had become aware of his project and they began to engineer events so control of the clones would fall to them instead. Learn more about your ad choices. In Star Wars The Bad Batch episode 3, we see another example of how Tarkin and the Kaminoans are increasing the inhibitor chip's power on Crosshair's mind. I believe this clearly shows that if the chip can be increased, it was also be decreased. The only problem is, how can you apply it to everyone? Is there a fail safe order? A switch? Will Hunter have to use his abilities? Or is Order 66 fail proof? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In The Bad Batch, we now know we're going to get phase 3 Clones Troopers as a last ditch effort from the Kaminoans to stay in business with Palpatine's empire. From episode 3, I think this 3rd phase of Clone could be a mutated one, like Omega. Jango's DNA is no longer usable, and now, it's time to progress beyond his natural cells, to a much more evolved species. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
This episode was absolutely amazing. Cad Bane's return was something I didn't think I'd see so soon in the Bad Batch, if at all this season. It seems like the Bad Batch is really speeding up episodes, where last week we saw Rex return on Bracca as Wrecker executed Order 66, and this week we get the return of Cad Bane. Does this mean we could get the never before seen Boba Fett vs Cad Bane? That's how Boba got his dent in his helmet, from Cad Bane, so it would be pretty cool to see this happen...hopefully though, they keep Cad Bane alive for live action in The Mandalorian, that would be cool to see him, but it wouldn't align with the story (unless they change it). Crosshair was a big one in this episode, as well. Now that he's injured, will he be able to snipe? Will the Empire toss him away because of his inability to perform? Could this be the start of the Kamino uprising against the Kaminoans? Could Crosshair lead a rebellion with his Clone Trooper brothers? Hunter got bested by Cad Bane, that standoff was beautiful. It goes to show that even up against an enhanced clone, we see Cad Bane is still superior. This show is becoming even more intense and epic than I thought, with the incorporation of all these Clone Wars characters, it makes me more and more excited for each consecutive episode. This also means that the Kaminoans have hired bounty hunters like Fennec Shand and Cad Bane to retrieve Omega for their Phase 3 Clone Trooper in order to keep their business with the empire. I wonder if they'll give Omega the Grogu treatment like Moff Gideon wanted to do in The Mandalorian...you know...until Luke Skywalker showed up to fight the Dark Troopers and save the day. Wow! This episode takes a left turn that seems to split the fanbase. That is, what's left of The Mandalorian fanbase. If memory serves, Ryan Eary at Screen Crush mentions that half the fans seemed to have abandoned the series, which is unfortunate. This season, instead relying on crossing over characters from other series (Bo Katan) or blatant fan service (Luke Skywalker), the creators are taking a huge risk. Rather, they are beginning to treat the Star Wars franchise similar to the Marvel franchise. Instead of creating each series in a vacuum, they're are zooming out at the galaxy map, and finding out where and when these characters could cross paths along the timeline. Like Marvel Comic heroes, they know each character has their own respective villains, friends, teachers, and all manner acquaintances. These characters also exist in our world. With cities like New York and San Francisco. Many believe part of the reason the Marvel franchise is so successful is due to how it's characters are based in real places. This is in stark contrast to the DC franchise who's characters exist in fictional places based on real world cities of New York (Metropolis) and Chicago (Gotham). Star Wars has no shortage of Expanded Universe characters and storylines to use as a canvas for a television show. I admit my wrong doing when approaching The Mandalorian season three. I was disillusioned by seasons one and two of Mandalorian. I felt there were too many episodes that did not add to the story and were simply filler. This is why I did not even bother to watch The Book of Boba Fett. I had wanted a Boba Fett show the whole time. Instead we got a show with a guy who looked and acted like Boba Fett. But wait! For two seasons we were leaving bread crumbs and subtle hints Boba Fett was there the whole time. In my opinion, the juice was not worth the squeeze. Of course AJ and my brother violently disagree. Fine. Let them. Chapter 19 starts off with a impressive dogfight between Bo Katan's Kom'rk-Class Fighter/transport "The Gauntlet," Din Djarin's modified "N1" Noobian starfighter and some Tie Bombers and Tie Interceptors. After which, the story makes huge departure and instead follow up with a character from season one. Dr. Penn Pershing. Member him? If not for his stupid glasses I wouldn't either. The whole story involves cloning technology he was working on. Tech which was ordered to be destroyed by the New Republic. Instead, we see Pershing attempting to re-integrate into a society free from the tyranny of the Galactic Empire. However, as a scientist, he cannot bare to see his life's work lost despite the good it might yield. Here my brother Mike actually makes himself useful. We ask the question, what happened to the Kaminoans and their cloning facilities. According to Star Wars Battlefront II, the CIS has launched an attack on Kamino in an attempt to destroy the Republic's clone producing facilities. According to the Wookiepedia, this first attack would take place only two months after the Battle of Geonosis. Only in the series The Bad Batch, do we see the cloning facilities on Kamino utterly destroyed by order of Moff Tarkin. Dr. Pershing and his new friend Elia Kane, sneak aboard a decommissioned Star Destroyer to steal lab supplies needed in order to continue research into cloning. It's here we find out that Elia betrayed Dr. Pershing and stole his technology. Only time will tell what she and the alliance plan to do with it. Overall, a great episode in my opinion. Why? It took risks. It dared to do something different. Even if the storyline is a thinly veiled attempt to retcon Rise of Skywalker's Clone Emperor plot holes. In which we discuss how Fives revealed the entire Sith ascension plan to some of the most powerful people in the galaxy…….and they didn't listen. The end of the Conspiracy Arc (The Clone Wars 6.3–4, “Fugitive” and “Orders”) shows us how the truth dies: in a dark office, with Chancellor Palpatine gaslight/gatekeep/girlbossing you for all you're worth. In this arc, we follow Fives' desperate scramble to reveal the conspiracy of the clones' inhibitor chips. We see the Sith's plan to discredit him — by framing him for an assassination attempt against the Chancellor — and discuss how the Kaminoans are complicit in about 10,000,000 different ways. It's all part of Palpatine's plan to execute Order 66. Sam promises that there is more to this story, which is great, because this arc is HEARTBREAKING. Next week, we're starting the Rush Clovis Arc! We go over our first planet design episode today. We are looking at the planet of Kamino that exists within the Kamino System that we get to see in the Prequel Trilogy. We look at Kamino's history, it's terrain and how the Kaminoans inhabit the planet in an interesting way.
On this final installment of "We Are The Bad Batch" for Season 1, we cover events happening on the final three episodes (14 - 16). We discuss the betrayal of the Kaminoans by the Empire, the capture of Kaminoan scientists for future Imperial projects, and the destruction of the Kaminoan facilities by the Empire. We also discuss the similarity between what happened on Kamino to what happened to the planet of Geonosis - both planets and their citizens were essentially useful idiots for the Empire - when their usefulness expired, so did they. Don't be a useful idiot! We will be back for more "We Are The Bad Batch" episode for Season 2 when it drops! May the Force Be With You! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/conspiracyintheforce/support

In this episode of Rule the Galaxy Joe and Alfie cover a number of Star Wars Topics. The Big reveal...Alfie's Mando helmet arrived and it looks glorious! Now he has to wait until January 2022 for the Boba Fett helmet. @thedavemjones is the winner of the Black Series Jaxxon figure! A special Thank you and tip of the cap to all involved with the Star Wars Report Podcast. It has been my pleasure listening to you for the last ten years...Riley, Bethany, Mark and Bruce...you have all been great for the Star Wars community. Thanks Riley for being a guest on our show. Mando Season 3 is underway! We are all looking forward to August 25th for the Mando season 2 finale behind the scenes show on Disney+ Alfie and I were not the biggest fans of Bad Batch 13 - Infested but it was a beautiful episode and we hope that some of the storyline and characters come back to play a bigger role in future episodes. Both of us loved every moment of Bad Batch 14 - War Mantle. From the opening scene to the closing scene this episode is what we signed up for! Gregor returns. Hunter finally uses his skills. Seeing what is going on between the Kaminoans and Empire was great. The complex felt like the Death Star, the music added so much to those scenes.Hunter being left behind, per his command, and the emotions from Omega was great. Crosshair and Hunter reunited at the end...where does this all go? @rulethegalaxysw on Twitter rulethegalaxysw@gmail.com Rule the Galaxy on YouTube and Facebook
Join us once again for a double dose of "THE BAD BATCH" as we discuss Episode 13 "Infested" and Episode 14 "War-Mantle". As season one nears its end, we got both a stand-alone type story with a metaFORCEical theme and a STRESSFUL larger story arc episode. Things are getting really real for the Kaminoans, Clone Force 99 and Omega as we seem to be barreling towards an emotionally gripping season 1 finale. TW/ Holocaust
Leave it to Dino to be a day late getting this episode up, but The Bad Batch waits for no one! The end is in sight, and the danger is ramping up for our favorite clones. A clone trooper is on the run. Rex seeks the help of the Bad Batch. War-Mantle has begun! This mission takes the team to Daro to free Rex's close friend. They find a military base that is near identical to a future armored space station. Kudos to Hunter for showing what leadership is all about. His decisions remind us of a famous quote from Star Trek. Meanwhile, the Kaminoans' "bread and butter" operation is canceled by the Empire!A fantastic, heart-pounding episode!

In this episode of Rule the Galaxy Joe, Alfie and Mass discuss a number of Star Wars topics. Slave 1 - we are not overly concerned if they change the name of Boba Fett's ship. Older fans like us will always call it that but we completely understand in today's society why they are looking to change. Change is part of life. Ming-Na Wen - she recently did some interviews about Bad Batch. Mark Newbold did a great job on his podcast, Fantha Tracks. We like her more now than ever and look forward to seeing where she goes in the Star Wars universe. The Rising Storm is out by Cavan Scott. We look forward to checking out the audio version narrated by Marc Thompson. Certain EU Books are being re-released to celebrate 50 years of Lucasfilm. We believe the ones being released will be related to some future Canon material Isaac Asimov wrote a series of books, Foundation. Reading up on them as they are going to be made into a new series on Apple TV...I am being told there are plenty of similarities to Star Wars. The Bad Batch - Episode 3 left us with the Kaminoans discussing their plight to get Phase 3 Clone Troopers started as their last ditch effort to stay relevant for Palpatine’s growing Empire. Jango Fett’s DNA is no longer usable so they must develop a new type of Clone, possibly a mutated one, so they can stay in business. Today we theorize who the next Phase 3 clone template will be. Is it Omega? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
On this episode, Dominic, Ben, and Chris are joined by Jordan Chaffer of Star Wars Culture (YouTube link) to talk about the third episode of The Bad Batch, "Replacements". They talk about how this episode introduces the first Imperial soldiers that are recruits and what that tells us about the Empire as a whole. They also do a deep dive into Crosshair, how in control is he and what is his role in the Imperial military going forward. Then they talk about Omega's growing bonds with Hunter and Wrecker. Plus, the mystery surrounding the Kaminoans, more evidence that Omega might be Force-sensitive, and we explore the darkest timeline of Bad Batch theories. All this and much more!
In a decidedly darker episode of The Bad Batch, we are left with some ominous foreshadowing. Is it already too late for Crosshair? Will "War-Mantle" lead to a clash between the Empire's old and new soldiers? Do the Kaminoans have their own contingencies ready? Join the Tauntauns as they tackle these questions and speculate about the ultimate fate of our favorite advanced clones. Follow us: https://linktr.ee/InsideTheTauntaunPodcast

The Kamino Cloners built the remarkable Clone Army which later was responsible for carrying out Order 66. What many people don’t know is that the Kaminoans built their own secret Rebel Clone Troopers as resistance to the Empire’s growing power. Why did the 501st Battalion secretly kill their own brothers? How did these Rebel Clone Troopers change the future for Storm Troopers? Listen as we find out about the fate of these Rebel Clone Troopers as the Empire retaliates. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In part two of "The Sexy Jetsons", Alden Diaz of Ahch-To Radio Radio and Reed continue their deep dive of Attack of the Clones one-off characters. How do the Kaminoans choose their Prime Minister? Which Tatooine staple is the greatest of all Star Wars characters? And can you guess which Geonosis Jedi earned themselves a dope action figure? Tune in to find out!
"Conspiracy" is the second episode from season 6 of the Clone Wars, and the second of a four-episode arc. Instead of being a sort of fog-of-war episode with lots of action like the last one, this episode is more of a medical investigation drama. That in itself is remarkable - it goes to show how flexible the Star Wars storytelling universe can be, and it also goes to show how unusual this is for a supposed kids cartoon. This really seems more like young adult storytelling and above. Also, the sense of dread that you may have started to feel about the situation in the previous episode is only going to get worse in this one. Rex and Fives accompany Tup to Kamino, but while Rex is sent back to fight, Fives is kept in quarantine, in case he has the same problem that Tup does. (Why they didn't keep Rex also, since he was exposed, doesn't make sense to me.) Tup and Fives both come up negative for any virus, and a debate over Tup's fate develops between Jedi General Shaak Ti, who wants Tup to undergo an atomic brain scan, and the Kaminoans, who want to "terminate" Tup and investigate after the fact. But we find out that the reason why the Kaminoans don't want Tup to undergo an atomic brain scan is because of what it will reveal... We'll talk about that today, and about a change to the model of how these seasons are released. Punch it! ***I'm listener supported! Jaden, Conner, and Kevin explore the role of clones in the Star Wars franchise, and the different types of clones we see in the universe. They discuss the motivations of the Kaminoans in making the clone army (3:37), the history of clones in Star Wars video games (6:58), and the ethics of copying and creating human life (21:36). This is an [Easy] level episode, which means you will be able to follow the discussion even if you haven’t played the game. Expect spoilers.
