Psalm 23 to me is a soothing refreshing scripture. It offers such a beautiful reminder of peace and trust in life's journey no matter where it takes us. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." It's a call to rest in the assurance that we're guided and cared for, even in the midst of challenges, seen or unseen, knowing that God is there for you and me. Imagine lying down in green pastures and being led beside still waters—a profound serenity that restores the soul, like drinking from the fountain that will never run dry and that you and I will have enough surplus to go on by. You could be facing a season of setbacks or cutbacks but whatever your season is, its a pruning season where God is challenging you, stripping you, speaking to you, setting aside whats for you. Though uncomfortable at times and painful, He is making sure that in there is acceptance for you, room at the table for you, working on your character and even if it feels prickly and sore, its springing forth a fruit which is commendable to the fruits of the Spirit, which needs to be reprogrammed, retweeted, reshaped, recultivated to stimulate new growth new birth new dawn from you. So get ready to produce what will amaze others with your fresh fruit. So let us take a step back and reassess where God is pruning you. It may hurt, it may cut like a knife but it will produce something that can be a step up or a stepping stone for something greater which I or you could not foresee. God has not forgotten thee. For all we know failure may even be the catalyst to push yourself beyond your comfort zone to try new approaches when to you it felt there was none. May this devotion When Setbacks Come strive you to lean more on Him, from whence your help comes from and trust God for more confidence when coming to him. You know God knows we will experience and encounter hard times, stressful times and though difficult His word reminds us that in Him, his our strongest and safest shelter. So do you have a choice? Of course you do. To either get lost and drenched in the crumbling thoughts of your mind. You see those storms help us to run to God, or in most cases turn our backs on Him. With all of the storms causing havoc in your life, you can cause it to affect you with bitterness, confusion, helplessness and or hopelessness. So when you feeling this way know that His waiting to cover you with His divine umbrella, his divine shelter, his divine sustenance and divine intervention, be it in season or out of a horrible season. Acknowledge and tell God you having a hard time, and need help trusting him in your circumstance. God Said It! Is that spoken word poem with a deep sense and inner knowing that His your strong tower, your refuge, your peace, your comforter in the midst of your storm. So turn to Him, seek Him while He can still be found in the midst of the storm and heed the voice of the Lord. If ever you going through any difficulty, trust God from the bottom of your heart. Don't try to figure fhings out. Don't try to overthink. Don't take matters into your own hands that's the enemy lying to you. Listen to God's voice in everything you do. Listen to that still voice deep inside of you. Listen to that voice everywhere you go. Let's not assume you nor I know it all. Let pride fall. Let that scapegoat syndrome fall. Trust Him and cling to Him. Let God become your Everything. Life has a way of shaping you. When all else fail allow God to navigate you. No matter how bleak dark or dreary it may seem, God sends in an opportunity an open door for you to step in. If you have been looking for something or doing some soul searching looking for a way out but nothing and begin to doubt , then tune in for God has a way of shedding or bringing some light to you to give you a way out. Trust apply rely on the one true Source who can make a way where there seems no way. So when you see no way simply trust His heart. For indeed It was only God. Today I am covering abuse a sensitive topic that affects many. Not only in women but women mostly and men too. So part one is covering the definition of abuse and the different types of abuse. Its a silent killer like heart attacks especially when we keep silent and at times because of grave circumstances you have nothing else to do but keep quiet in hoping someone else will speak up or address this violent issue. Determination has to do with Courage. Courage to hear No, Maybe, Not now. The mark of a winner is your heart. That pulse that makes you get up and go even though there's no reward but you carry the will to win, the drive, the determination even though passion as you hear doesn't pay bills but it gives you the edge to Pursue Activate and Follow through. Its the rhythm in your pulse in your heartbeat that continues to push in push through and from that God sees your willingness your faithfulness and can turn your passion into success if only You apply ask and Continue. For you are Destined to Win. Apply yourself to Deborah and Arise with the Word of God. As we celebrate the many Stalwarts before you and me the Women of Strength we also celebrate the many Women on whose tongue lay Gods word. So Arise. Activate and Apply. Have you ever been in the Company of 'Put me Downs'? Where others project their fears their anger their frustrations on you, thinking you the one and blaming you. Life is hard enough yet their are many who think out aloud, say things out aloud and repeat these negative comments out loud. Eg whilst growing up I and maybe you were constantly criticized for having a high pitch voice, a sharp nose, your laugh is ugly your legs skinny or you will mount up to nothing. Perhaps you've heard, you not good enough , or I made who you are today. Give it up. My all time favorite they lead you into thinking you going to be or end up like them. Wrong, you and only you can either give your power away or take it back by experiencing being Beautiful in Fear. Beauty in fear is confronting the very thing , situations or persons that make you feel not worthy enough, insecure, ugly and awkward. And maybe that is all you know but what does God say about you? James 1:22 says Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. The I Am declaration is Powerful. I am beautiful. I am Special. I am loved. I am forgiven I am accepted. I am noble and lovely. I am God's Precious handiwork. I am fearful and wonderfully made. I am a difference maker. I am a peacemaker. So remember whoever instills fear could be someone you know. People who feel bad or unhappy often try to make others around them feel worse. So here are a few fears I came across of which I am familiar with. Fight fear. Freeze fear. Faint fear and my all time flee fear or escape fear. Mark Twain says...Do the thing you fear the most , and the death of fear is certain. ' Thank you for tuning in to Sassy Soul Friend of God. I'm coming out Gold relates back to the Japanese art of Kintsugi. Now, like the broken vase, plate, cup or clay pot this signifies your and my brokenness. Each piece chipped away either broken scarred rejected neglected or simply disrespected. But each piece represents a piece of me or you. No matter how many times used, that brokenness has cracks of which the Gold mends the hurt, the traumas, the adversity, the brutality, the unseen. May you step into the Garden and embrace your new design. See yourself as that clay pot with many colours of which God has created and put together in Gold each uniquely polished, cut, shaped and sold. So, Sassy Soul I don't know about You, but I am coming out Gold.

The enemy feeds you lies many times in saying you need to be rich and famous, glitz and glam to make a difference, yet you can. What's in your gift bag is your story, the life lessons, the I told you so, the disagreements, disappointments, and how far you would go. For God created you for a purpose and with purpose and wants you to follow through. So don't give up on Him, cause He won't give up on you.

Life comes with many unexpected twists and turns. Seen or unseen. Today's episode is to encourage you to go to the rock. Find solace in that place that sweet name that you and I can call upon. On todays episode I am sharing what to do who to turn to when life throws you a lemon or two. For we all know what lemons taste like right, sour but if you take a lemon and mix it with sugar you have lemonade, something sweet. Just like life's unexpected hindrances if you know what I mean. So as we prepare our hearts to receive have faith and allow your light to shine bright.

Overall to 'Trust in God's Timing.' God knows everything, we don't. He knows the future, there past and everything He plans before its comes to pass. But its in that middle section that window section of waiting of discerning discovering. That season of challenges and changes before harvesting. You see many of us want to escape that part and skip straight to the harvest part but it doesn't work that way. What makes a leader yes it could be you? However who is the leader in your home? God assigned the man as your and my Spiritual leader, the Head of our home. Well as wives, we must submit as fitting to the Lord besides, only an unwise man would reject his wife's assitance and opinions. After all, God created us to be his best earthly helpmate. So, as a leader be it at work, Church or social can be good or bad. For theres a time we can inspire, encourage uplift and also a time when we can discourage others from putting their best foot forward. To act in obedience is hard. Yet it can be a pretty awesome awe-inspiring thing. For it allows the Holy Spirit to intervene to show up and reveal. As humans we look to the outward appearance abut God sees and looks deep. He looks into your and my heart you see. We reward achievements and yes do things to be notice and to be seen but God yet again rewards you and me for things others don't know about or see. May today's message carry you, touch you, equip you and remain with you for God sees and knows you. Guide us Lord in all we do. Speak Lord so we can learn from you. Remove acts of flesh, rash decisions too from impatient reactions and self motives too. We love you and thank you.

How many of us want our prayers answered instantaneously but feel the urgency to rush God on when we can't wait and anticipate then no sooner give up or retaliate. This is that Soul Story reminding you and me to be Patient until God answers thee, according to His will but our motives should be right before Him you see.
