When approaching innovation and branding, understand who you serve first. Don't focus on the solution first. According to Harvard Business Review, statistics tell us that over 70% of innovation fails. With a background as a global innovator, Sue Bevan Baggot learned this quickly as she looked to begin her career at Proctor and Gamble. She was drawn to the company because of their focus on innovative ways of improving people's businesses. Sue worked on helping clients uncover the insights they needed to help them set business or innovation strategies. She discovered that the secret to success is motivation, the continual evolution of information and social contact, personal and professional development, and the ability to promote success across all platforms. Failure taught her that innovation and creativity alone is not enough to move a product or build a client base. Building trust was crucial and that took time as the company stepped back to ask some important questions. The questions they asked are universal in their scope of application for anyone in business. We will approach four of them here: One: Who are you serving? Two: How can you create value? Three: How can you build trust with uniqueness? and Four: What does empathy look like? Live from the no panic zone—I'm Steve Gruber—I am America's Voice— I am an anti- socialist     Here are three big things you need to know right now—   ONE— The most barbaric vote in America—came from of all places—my former home, Montana—where voters said no to giving medical care to infants that survived an abortion attempt—   TWO— Iran—has decided to execute 15,000 human rights protestors—for standing up for womens rights—almost as bad as Michigan—green lighting Abortion up to the moment of birth—   THREE— How is it—that Arizona and Nevada—two states of ordinary size—cannot complete ballot counting on the day of the election—like just about everyone else?   States like Florida, Georgia and Ohio can close out the counting—usually well before midnight and give the results—and not wait for days—or even a week or more—   This is not normal!   Elections in America were never this way in the past—seems we have ever faster technology with incredible speed and ability—so good that I never have to balance a checkbook— and the power of computers is off the charts—   BUT somehow, even with all of this high-tech sophisticated machinery—they just cannot seem to count votes in a timely or orderly fashion—   Arizona just announced late Thursday—they won't be able to sort out about 290,000 ballots that were dropped off directly on Election Day—until sometime next week—this is just inconceivable— Kari Lake—running for Governor— led in all the polls leading up to November 8th—and says she fully expects when the hundreds of thousands of votes do finally come in—no matter when it is—she will prevail—and it will be a resounding victory— Meanwhile—other newly elected members of Congress—are reflecting on what it took to make it happen—and where they go from here— But the President's victory lap is not getting rave reviews—not even from those on the left—who say his answers left quite a bit to be desired—BUT what do you expect from a guy who doesn't even know where he is most of the time? The real question now—is what is next for the GOP—waiting for the outcome of the important races—and who is the leader of the Republican Party today— Some strong supporters of former President Donald Trump—say it may be time to call it a day—

This is the Steve Gruber show— I am just an overgrown Zygote in search of humanity and leadership in a nation—that seems desperately in need of both—   Here are three big things you need to know right now—   ONE— Joe Manchin should be kicked out of the Democrat Party according to Robert Reich—the former Labor Secretary for Bill Clinton—I think that's a great idea—kick him out—we could use one more GOP vote— TWO— In DC the Mayor is upset that her city is getting inundated with illegal aliens that are being bused north by Texas and Arizona—and I thought she liked open borders— THREE— How long can we really put up with Joe Biden in the Oval Office?  I know we talk about this every day—But there is just no way around discussing President Disasters declining mental health—I mean it has become more pronounced ever since he took the oath of office—and it does raise questions about who really is driving the bus—because its awfully hard to believe that Feeble Joe is running anything— I mean he shows up with cue cards that tell him when to sit—what reporter to call on—when to ask a question—when to leave the room—and we have seen quite clearly anytime he is without his crib notes—he has not one clue on what to do— This is the leader of the Free World—he has the nuclear football in tow wherever he goes—and you have to wonder—if he had to make a call at 3 in the morning about responding to a rogue Russia or North Korea—would he even be capable— I mean—if you look at Joe Biden on the campaign trail in 2019—and compare that to the guy that took the whole day off Monday—and takes off too many days to keep track of—a guy that has given a total of 2 sit down interviews in all of 2022—its not the same— To say he has lost a step would be too kind—and it gets to the point that we have to seriously consider the 25th Amendment—I mean his polling numbers continue to fall to places we have not seen before—and yet is still telling people around him he intends to run for re-election—which would be a catastrophic failure for the Democrats—because the majority on the left want a new candidate in 2024— They are petrified that Biden may choose to pursue another term—in which he would be far more compromised than he is today—it is not a serious conversation any more—not that it ever was— Joe Biden is not competent now—he clearly won't be competent at 82 to start another term—or 86 when he would finish—and who can honestly predict that he will even be alive at that point—I am not being smart—but the average lifespan for men in America is… well less than Joe Bidens age today—so I think we can figure that one out— And as much as I realize what a terrible choice the Democrats have left us—because Kamala Harris may be just as incompetent as Joe Biden—we have arrived at a point that the idea can no longer be dismissed—or worse, ignored— And this Presidential crisis comes as Americans are being punished by an economy that is headed south—a border crisis that is being promoted by the failing administration—and possible armed conflicts in Ukraine and elsewhere—in a world where both Iran and North Korea now claim to have nuclear capabilities—and missiles to deliver the warheads

And in this video, I answer most of them in hopes that it helps you out. Of course, I highly recommend the book as well. ONE: “What is the book (or books) you've given most as a gift, and why? Or what are one to three books that have greatly influenced your life?” T WO: “What purchase of $100 or less has most positively impacted your life in the last six months (or in recent memory)? My readers love specifics like brand and model, where you found it, etc.” THREE: “How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success? Do you have a “favorite failure” of yours?” FOUR: “If you could have a gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it — metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions — what would it say and why? It could be a few words or a paragraph. (If helpful, it can be someone else's quote: Are there any quotes you think of often or live your life by?)” FIVE: “What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you've ever made? (Could be an investment of money, time, energy, etc.)” SIX: “What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love?” SEVEN: “In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?” EIGHT: “What advice would you give to a smart, driven college student about to enter the “real world”? What advice should they ignore?” NINE: “What are bad recommendations you hear in your profession or area of expertise?” TEN: "In the last five years, what have you become better at saying no to (distractions, invitations, etc.)? What new realizations and/or approaches helped? Any other tips?" ELEVEN: “When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do? (If helpful: What questions do you ask yourself?)” After listening, kindly feel free to ask questions or offer opinions of your own, whether down in the comment section or by hitting me up on social media @PhilSvitek. With Pastor Jordan HodgesWe continue our series on the power of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 4:23-25 NLT “Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all. Large crowds followed him wherever he went—people from Galilee, the Ten Towns, Jerusalem, from all over Judea, and from east of the Jordan River.” Today on every campus we would like to speak with you all about HEALING! Does God still heal ONE: Does God heal?Powerful reality: Sin is to the soul what sickness is to the body. Repeat!         Jesus paid for both.Sickness is no more our friend than sin is! We cannot treat it as a friend! Healing is not the whole gospel….. but the gospel is not complete without it. We must settle this… Jesus heals by His power.   He heals through His kids and their gifting's.   He heals by the power of the Holy Spirit!TWO: Why do we still deal with sickness? The cross saved us from the penalty, power, and presence of sin. He does the same thing with sickness.THREE: How do we receive healing? Listen I'm a faith guy! But it's not my faith that gets me saved…. It's His grace! Jesus said even faith the size of a mustard seed can move mighty mountains…. Why?   Because… GRACE!

Here are 5 things that affect your attitude and thereby your productivity. ONE Consider who are you hanging around. Take an inventory and get rid of those who are dragging you down. Or at least reduce the time you spend with them. This includes family and friends.  TWO What are you consuming? How much time do you spend watching the news, surfing social media and listening to gossip? THREE How much quality sleep are you getting each night? Sleep directly impacts your productivity. Four hours of quality sleep is better than eight hours of tossing and turning. Your day starts the night before. If you aren't sleeping well, what is going on before bedtime? Are you drinking a lot of coffee? Playing video games for eight hours? How are you sleeping…really? Use a sleep tracking app such as Sleep Cycle to track your sleep. FOUR What are the stressors in your life? Again, take an inventory of what stresses you out. Be proactive and schedule the time to think about this. Then create a plan to eliminate as much as you can. FIVE What does your outlook or vision for your future look like? Do you have one? What are your dreams and desires? Reverse Your Thoughts, Increase Your Income Unifying Principles are those guiding thoughts around which all your actions revolve. When you hold them in plain sight, you always know what to do next. Brilliant people stumble when they focus on the parts and neglect to see the webs of connections between those parts. This is what causes medical doctors to treat each symptom separately while failing to recognize the underlying disease. Such compartmentalization is an even bigger problem in business, causing owners and managers to wrestle with symptoms instead of solving the problem. Not enough customers, low profit margins, high employee turnover and negative online reviews are merely compartmentalized symptoms of a systemic malfunction. Unifying principles eliminate compartmentalization. Let's develop some unifying principles for your business that will help you create your happiest possible future: 1. Think of your perfect ending; leap forward in time and see the outcome you most desire. How does that future company behave? Who are its customers? What marvelous things does it do that cause its customers to recruit their friends? What do these happy customers say about you? Describe, right now, the perfect day in this business you'll own in the future. See, feel, taste and smell all the details of that soon-coming day. 2. Hold those thoughts clearly in your mind. 3. You are now equipped to identify the constituent components of this happy future. You're ready to create the steps that will take you there. You're ready to draw the map you will follow. ONE: Where would such a company be located? TWO: How would such a workplace be decorated? THREE: How would such a company recruit its employees? FOUR: In what ways might such a company train its employees? FIVE: How would such a company compensate those employees? SIX: What hours would such a company be open? SEVEN: How would their ads make you feel? EIGHT: What would their written warranties and guarantees include? NINE: What would such a company NEVER do? TEN: What might such a company do for its customers that its competitors would be unwilling to do? Are you beginning to get the picture? A clear and stable vision of the End Goal is required to inform the small choices that will bring that goal into existence. You've previously heard of Gestalt Theory but now you've actually used it. AThis particular application of Gestalt Theory springs from TRIZ Principle 13: turn it upside down; reverse the process; do it backwards. If you want to learn the other 39 Principles of TRIZ, check out Mark Fox's book, Da Vinci and the 40 Answers or https://wizardacademy.org/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=88 (attend that class) when Br'er Fox teaches it on Oct. 30-31. Wizard Academy cognoscenti Dr. Kary Mullis never heard of TRIZ Principle 13 but he instinctively used it to create Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR,) the invention that opened the door for DNA research and won him the 1993 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Kary said, “Everyone was looking for a needle in a haystack, so I said, ‘Why not turn the haystack into needles?'” Turn it upside down; reverse the process; do it backwards. That's how PCR was born. More recently, Kary used Principle 13 to create Altermune, the invention that will probably win him a second Nobel Prize. Speaking of that portion of our immune system that attacks foreign tissue and of how it has been studied for decades so that it can be suppressed during organ transplants, Kary said, “Suppress it, hell, why not aim it?” And from that bit of backwards thinking Kary Mullis invented an antidote for anthrax. He will likely use this same technique to invent cures for dozens of other things for which our bodies have no defense. http://mondaymemo.wpengine.com/kary-at-ted (Watch the video) at TED.com Wizard Academy Cognoscenti rock the...

Before you listen, here is some vocabulary from the text. careless = descuidado, despreocupado precocious = precoz to suck = chupar pacifier (US) / dummy (UK) = chupete role = papel Now listen to the text The Simpsons are a typical family who live in the fictional "Mid-American" town of Springfield. Homer, the father, works as a safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant - a job which doesn’t really fit his careless, clown-like personality. He’s married to Marge Simpson, a typical American housewife and mother. They have three children: Bart, who is ten years old; Lisa, who is eight years old; and Maggie, a baby who rarely speaks, but communicates by sucking on a pacifier. The family has a dog, Santa's Little Helper, and a cat, Snowball II. Both pets have had starring roles in several episodes. The first Simpsons episode was shown in 1987. Despite the passing of the years and celebrations such as holidays or birthdays, the Simpsons do not physically age and still look the same as they did at the end of the 1980s.
