The Spanish Lockdown due to Covid19 started in March 13 this year and we been at our homes till the end of May, finally we been allowed to throw an outdoors party at La Daurada in my hometown where I been doing David Tort & Friends the last 6 years. Obviously this 2020 it’s being a weird and difficult one, and last Wednesday June 24th we made it happen, the response was unreal. Obviously with all the measures we’ve been able to set up 34 vip tables where everyone been together with their families and friends, let’s keepo safe and strong, but nothing’s gonna stop our right to dance and be social, even if we can’t give a hug to our friends in the other table right next to you, we’re a global family and music’s gonna keep us stronger than ever. The Lord’s Prayer The Third Petition What is the Third Petition? Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. What does this mean? The good and gracious will of God is done even without our prayer, but we pray in this petition that it may be done among us also. How is God’s will done? God’s will is done when He breaks and hinders every evil plan and purpose of the devil, the world, and our sinful nature, which do not want us to hallow God’s name or let His kingdom come; and when He strengthens and keeps us firm in His Word and faith until we die. This is His good and gracious will.

This is Coronavirus 411, the latest COVID-19 info and new hotspots… Just the facts… for Wednesday June 24th, 2020. Cases across the U.S. continue to rise. Seven states reported new record daily cases: Arizona, Arkansas, California, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee and South Carolina. South Carolina has 26,513 confirmed cases and 673 deaths. They hit their record high on June 20th with 1,155. Cases have declined slightly over the last few days, with 912 reported yesterday. The state has seen rapid growth through the month of June. Prior to May 29th, the state was rarely over 200 cases a day. Greenville County has been the hardest hit, with 3,827, with 2,269 of those cases reported since June 1st. Just yesterday, the Greenville city council voted to require masks to be worn in a number of businesses. Unlike other hotspots where growth can be traced to a major outbreak at a large facility like a prison, factory or nursing home, nothing like that has yet been found in Greenville. Testifying before a House Committee yesterday, Coronavirus Task Force Member Dr. Fauci, relayed his concerns about the continued surge of infection rate in the U.S. Also, that the country will be doing more testing and that he is cautiously optimistic that we will have a vaccine by the end of the year or early 2021. As cases skyrocket in Houston, adults have been admitted to Texas Children’s Hospital, reports The Washington Post. The Governor of Texas told Texans, the safest place for them was in their homes. Players and owners have come to an agreement and Major League Baseball will start a 60-game season at the end of July. The European Union is working through guidelines for borders to re-open July 1st. Countries that have or continue to struggle with severe virus outbreaks, including the U.S., may be barred from travel to Europe. Australia reported their first COVID-19 related death in a month. In 1990 there was an accidental spill of 4,000 gallons of fire-fighting foam at Stewart Air Base. In 1996, the firefighting foam was used to extinguish a crash at Stewart International Airport. Until 2017, the foam was used for firefighting practice drills and they continue to use similar chemical substitutes. Our understanding of PFAS toxicity is evolving: In 2009 EPA sets a health advisory limit of 200 parts-per-trillion (ppt) for PFAS chemicals in drinking water, revised down to 70 ppt in 2016. In late 2018 the New York State Drinking Water Quality Council (NYSDWQC) recommended a lower standard of 10 ppt for PFAS chemicals. New research by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) suggests toxic effects at even lower concentrations of 1 to 0.1 ppt! Meanwhile the City of Newburgh’s 2016 Water Quality Report noted PFOS levels of 150-170 ppt in Lake Washington. Since that time New York State has switched the City of Newburgh to a temporary, uncontaminated water supply.

This is Coronavirus 411, the latest COVID-19 info and new hotspots… Just the facts… for Wednesday June 17th, 2020. Dexamethasone, was proven in British clinical trials to reduce the risk of death in COVID-19 patients with severe lung damage. The steroid is currently on the market and widely available. CureVac, a German Pharmaceutical company, has received the green light to begin human trials for their vaccine candidate. This is the 11th potential vaccine to enter clinical trials worldwide. Earlier this week, the German Government purchased 23% of CureVac. A South Dakota company is working on a COVID-19 antibody treatment that comes from cow plasma. The CEO of SAB Biotherapeutics told CNN, the genetically engineered cows are producing antibodies that kill the virus in the lab. They expect to start human trials in July. Record daily cases were reported yesterday in Florida, Arizona, Texas, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon and South Carolina. The U.S. will extended land border restrictions with Mexico and Canada through July 21st. An Oklahoma judge denied an emergency motion to halt President Trump’s campaign rally, set for Saturday in Tulsa. Some lower risk inmates in California with less than 180 days left on their sentence will be released starting July 1st to lower the risk of exposure to COVID-19. China is limiting travel in and out of Beijing, after a new cluster of cases was to discovered. Schools and public attractions have been closed and there are temperature checks in neighborhoods around the city center reports The Washington Post. Over 300 households in Berlin, Germany have been put in to quarantine, as 57 new cases were discovered in the city. The President of Honduras and his wife have tested positive for COVID-19.
