Cor van de Weem is gepensioneerd, maar behalve gestopt met werken blijft hij actief op allerlei terreinen. Elke dinsdag vanaf september kaarten, brommers rijden in Wanroij, Scootmobiel en fietstochten organiseren, vrijwilliger bij de voetbalclub DWSH'18. Verder maakt hij in de wintermaanden balkenbrij en hij maakt ook voederbakjes met thermometers. Kortom, een 'bezig baasje' dat voorheen ook nog actief was bij de lokale omroep Mill.

Le 16 septembre dernier s'est déroulée l'édition 2021 du NWX Summer Festival. J'ai eu le plaisir de pouvoir participer à cet événement d'une manière originale puisque l'association NWX (pour laquelle je suis adhérent) m'avait proposé d'enregistrer un podcast sur place. Pour cela, j'ai pu bénéficier d'excellentes conditions d'accueil puisqu'une cabine Weem avait été mise à ma disposition.
