This work is "Alone" by the Finnish composer Erkki Jokinen's "Alone", written in 1979 for Matti Rantanen. On this episode I briefly present the composer and then dive into different tips and tricks, as well as mental images, which Matti Rantanen and Stefan Hussong taught me at a masterclass in Rome in 2013. I am not a musicologist, nor am I a composer, but I hope thiese tips will help those who want to approach this famous work. The episode is made up of three parts. In the first part we get to know Berio as a musician and some of his most important works, including the Sequenza series.
