Mon's been in the retail snow industry since she can remember, with her strong industry reputation and her passion for the need of plus size snow clothing, she took her ideas to her suppliers. They loved it, jumped on board and now she owns a small business making huge impacts PLUS SIZE within this growing market. We chat about what qualifications he has for this role and how he loves the mountains and helping keep everyone safe on them. His time as lead forecaster at Lake Louise reads: Risk assessment. Risk management. Managing a team of six avalanche technicians. Responsible for the safety of +300,000 skiers each winter. Patrick Jensen didn't grow up skiing, but he loves a challenge, so after listening to his career advisor, he ended up in Austria in a strong snowplough, and in a considerable short span of time he found himself on racing in the green and gold down Olympic alpine racecourses doing at 110km. Beijing will be Patrick' s 2nd Winter Paralympics and we learn what it takes for a vision impaired ski racer to travel the world, compete and get seriously inspired by his triumphs!! Greta Small is Australia's top female Alpine Skier, this will be her 3rd Winter Olympics, which is quite the feat considering she has had 5 knee surgeries including 3 reconstructions! Today we talk with Adam Dickson, he is a snowboard cross athlete, he has stood on world cup podiums, and his career has seen him race in many international finals, he currently sits 20th in snowboarder cross standings. He is on contract with the Australian Olympic Winter Institute, and as we chat he is right amongst it in Austria training and racing for his selection for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Team. He is resilient in his pursuit, a pioneer of the developmental pathway for snowboarder cross athletes in Australia and all round nice guy.
