“You have to add tools to you; you can't succeed just by sheer willpower.” (click to tweet) It's about the journey and not the destination. Who you become as a result of whatever it is you are doing, is far more important than the accomplishment itself. The most important part of anything you do is to do it for the right reasons. You will always be chasing happiness if you are looking solely for the approval and love of other people. Get to know the person you spend the most time with in your life, yourself. Reevaluate your values as you grow because it's likely that what was once important to you, is not your priority today. Look at the world around you and ask yourself, what it is that will fulfil you, what is the value you have that the world needs right now, and go towards that. Once you set your mind to what will fulfill you, you need your skillset to back your willpower. Don't put yourself in a box; it's a huge advantage to be multifaceted, you don't have to be just one thing. Continue to develop and add tools to your skillset, this will make you more valuable and successful. To inspire us further, I've brought on successful entrepreneur, author, speaker, and coach, Freddy Behin. Known as the “Leaping Achiever”, Freddy brings a unique approach to personal development by revealing how to literally “Leap” to the next level in all areas of your life, just as he did to become a world-class athlete, successful entrepreneur, and a life-saving doctor. Freddy's true passion is helping his clients achieve greatness. As a top Peak Performance Coach, Freddy's expertise is in guiding top business leaders and professionals to higher levels of success and fulfillment. He is now focused on building customers all over the world that are 100% serious about creating even more success. In this episode, Freddy encourages us to get to know the person we live with the longest; ourself. Don't box yourself in. You have different facets to yourself, it's okay to be more than just one thing. Who you become, as a result of what you're doing is more important than the accomplishment itself. Don't be set in old values, reevaluate yourself. “Try something different; there's always a way to change something.” (click to tweet) Everyone faces hiccups and failures but it's how you chose to handle those situations that will change the course of your life. When presented with a negative, search for a way to change it to a positive. Find something about the situation that you can appreciate and avoid negative thoughts. You have to alternate your thought process and face your challenges in a different way. Approach every failure as a learning experience. This way of thinking will lead to positive actions and therefore positive outcomes. We are a reflection of the people we surround ourselves with so it's also important to find positive people to be a part of your circle. There are many different ways to solve a problem and many different paths to get to the same place. Be open-minded and embrace the ideas of your peers. Don't be afraid to try multiple methods and filter them out until you find a solution that works best for you. To talk about his path to positivity, I've brought on Frank Shankwitz. Frank Shankwitz is the co-founder of Make-A-Wish Foundation, a non-profit organization that grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. He has received the President's Call to Service Award, the Making a Difference in the World, the Making a World of Difference and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor Awards. He has also co-authored the book “Once Upon a Wish” with Rachelle Sparks. In 2019, a biographical film titled “Wish Man” was released, telling the story of Shankwitz, his life and his foundation. Frank continues to work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation as a Wish Ambassador and keynote speaker across the United States. In this episode, Frank challenges us to change the way we approach negative situations in our lives. “Find what you're passionate about and then monetize it.” (click to tweet) yourresultsradio.com/5 2 Sure, some people get lucky and have overnight success. For most of us, though, this is not the case. Success takes work. It takes time. Be prepared. It's not just an adventure, it's a journey. The most powerful thing you can do is wake up every day to learn. You are in control of your decisions, your failures, and what you learn from them. The moment you stop wanting to be the best at what you're passionate about, or to move forward and learn from your mistakes, is the day you should find something new to do. The only way to make success sustainable is to embrace the fear and prove to the world that you deserve the things you're working towards. Once you know what it is you're passionate about, it's time to take action. Make realistic goals for yourself, analyze your objective, and strengthen your base level as you work your way to the top. We can't all just jump in and be successful. It takes time, commitment, and realistic, achievable goals that will help you build the pyramid of your life. To inspire us further, I've brought on a true entrepreneur, announcer, entertainer and motivational speaker, Bruce Buffer. Bruce Buffer has been the “Official Voice of the Octagon” for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) since 1997 and for many other mixed martial arts events worldwide and is recognized internationally as “The Voice of Mixed Martial Arts”. He was also on SPIKE TV's hit series “UFC Unleashed” and “Ultimate Fight Night” and now appears on all FOX network televised UFC events and Pay Per Views viewed by millions worldwide. “You need to understand what you want.” (click to tweet) yourresultsradio.com/51 It’s not over until it’s over. Although this new world can feel scary and uncomfortable, it is imperative to remember that times will always be changing. Life is always different. Now can be just as amazing as any other time if you just decide on what you want and truly - I mean truly - go after it. A lot of people only know what they don’t want versus what they do. But when you focus on what you don’t want, it winds up being more of what you get. It is time to give yourself permission to do whatever it is that you want. You don’t need permission from anything but yourself. Look at yourself every day and fill in the blanks of what it is you want and then go after it. The universe will challenge you. It will challenge how badly you want it. But those who succeed are the ones who prove that they want it more than others. To inspire us further, I’ve invited the incredible Forbes Riley. Forbes is known as the Queen of Pitch. She has grossed more than $2.5 Billion in product sales. “We are afraid of things that have never happened.” (click to tweet) Humans over complicate even the simplest of things. It is in our nature to protect ourselves by analyzing the dangers first and creating fears about things that yet happened. It’s the way we prepare ourselves for the worst. When we know that this is how we work, we can acknowledge our fear and not allow it to dictate our outcomes. From there we can learn. Seek as much knowledge surrounding the things we fear, understand the risks, find a guide who has been through it, and build confidence around taking the next steps. If you want to make a change you have to take the risk. Change is hard. But nothing that is worthwhile comes easily. There are ways to manage your fears. You just have to take a step forward, keep moving, and know that it might not always be perfect but at least it’s movement. Fong Chua is an entrepreneur, business strategist, real estate investor, speaker, and best-selling author. He has successfully unlocked many of his client’s potentials. “Remaining open is a practice.” (click to tweet) yourresultsradio.com/49 Humans are ready for something bigger. Let's not judge ourselves when we're in fear. Let's not judge our current state of mind, whatever it may be. Let's instead take a breath and tune into that place that knows we are whole and complete. Tune into that part of you that knows what it is you need in this moment. Our current circumstance is helping us understand how we truly want to live our lives. What changes do we want to make? What legacy do we want to leave behind? To help us navigate this I've brought on the founder of Soul Language, Jennifer Urezzio. Soul Language is a paradigm that puts tangibility to Soul so a conscious connection can be established to enable crystal clear decisions for success. “The word ‘attraction' has the word ‘action' in it.” (click to tweet) yourresultsradio.com/48 The eye can't see itself. If you are ever wondering about where your life, business, or career is at, then maybe you need to take a step back and look at it from a different perspective. Our culture believes that we need to kick into gear when things slow down. But sometimes first we need to honor where we are in this moment in order to recognize how to progress. Thinking about repositioning yourself in life means figuring out how to intersect who you are today, with how you want to show up, and to whom it is that it matters. You must not overlook what is important to you. The closer you can align your doing with your being the more flow, ease, and peace you will have in your life. Once you begin that process, having an outside set of eyes becomes key in noticing some of the programming that is difficult to see within oneself. To discuss this further, I've brought on (re)Positioning expert and Law of Attraction speaker, Christine Clifton. Christine Clifton is a (re)Positioning Partner for soul-powered entrepreneurs and professionals with a commitment to "keep your inner fire burning so you don't burn out." A 20-year veteran of chronic illness with a genetic connective tissue disorder, Christine had to learn practical coping skills as well as spiritual expansion practices in order to surThrive. In addition to 20-years in the corporate world and 14 years of entrepreneurship, Christine is a Coach U graduate and certified in two energy work practices. She's the author of the #1 Amazon New Release, “Get Ready. Get Set. Flow... Work/Life Integration for Soul-Powered People” as well as “You don't have to shout to Stand Out” and “Your Spirit at Work.” In this episode we dive into the Law of Attraction and how Christine helps her clients convert things that happen passively into real tools for growth. Embracing the emotion of where you are in the moment can be one of the most powerful things you can do. Self-love is loving what is. Getting into action too quickly can overlook new priorities and goals you might have. It's important to understand how you need to show up in this moment. What is your ideal life design? Reassess your current values. They can change over time. The Law of Attraction is real. The word ‘vocation' is rooted in the latin for ‘voice.' Your calling is something you hear. Your ‘why' is connected to your being, not your work. To discuss this further, I’ve brought on (re)Positioning expert and Law of Attraction speaker, Christine Clifton. She’s the author of the #1 Amazon New Release, “Get Ready. Get Set. Flow... Work/Life Integration for Soul-Powered People” as well as “You don’t have to shout to Stand Out” and “Your Spirit at Work.” In this episode we dive into the Law of Attraction and how Christine helps her clients convert things that happen passively into real tools for growth. Learn how to see if what you’re doing aligns with who you are being by downloading this episode. “Self love is loving what is.” (click to tweet) Highlights There’s a difference in being prepared and being ready. Embracing the emotion of where you are in the moment can be one of the most powerful things you can do. Self-love is loving what is. Getting into action too quickly can overlook new priorities and goals you might have. It’s important to understand how you need to show up in this moment. What is your ideal life design? Reassess your current values. They can change over time. The Law of Attraction is real. The word ‘vocation’ is rooted in the latin for ‘voice.’ Your calling is something you hear. Your ‘why’ is connected to your being, not your work. People are experiencing emotions as a result of what they’re going through. “The eye can’t see itself.” (click to tweet) References Christineclifton.com The C-Suite Network Get Your Results Journal
“We've forgotten that the most important thing in this life is our inner self.” (click to tweet) yourresultsradio.com/47 Believing in yourself can be one of your superpowers. I recently came upon some information that said that coaching and consulting will emerge on top as we start to come out of this pandemic. But many of us who are in it might have trouble believing it. Many are losing the drive to keep pushing through. As a result, I'm always interested in knowing what my guests would tell someone struggling with hope. And time and time again I'm hearing the same thing: now is the time to believe in yourself. All of the amazing leaders of the world are regular people. They've all had down days but have succeeded because they've lifted themselves up. But lifting yourself up is not the only currency you have. There is power in lifting those up around you as well. There is power in giving back. To dive deeper into these concepts, I've brought on the very successful and inspiring CEO of Craig Shelly Beverly Hills, Craig Shah. Craig Shah is a renowned celebrity designer of fine Jewelry and Swiss watches. He is sought out for his unique fashionable and creative concepts. His greatest passion is to use his creative talent and give back. He has dedicated a great portion of his success for the benefit of children and soldiers. Craig proudly supports A Soldier's Journey Home, Along Comes Hope and Akshaya Patra. Some of his official time partners are Harvard and Yale for Rivalry on Ice, Cricket All Stars, Beverly Hills Police, IIFA, C-Suite, and PGA tournament amongst many other organizations. Craig is also an active investor and board member of many companies on road to successful exits. Craig lives by his motto: PURPOSE BEFORE PROFIT. In this discussion, he powerfully reminds us that our gifts can be our currency. Now is the time to invest in our inner selves. The power of your own gifts, relationships, and motivational skills are all different forms of your personal currency. How can you incorporate giving back in your business model? The key to being financially free is to take some money and invest it in disruptive businesses. Take some risk. Look at those risky opportunities. Stop trading your hours for dollars. Technology is on your side today. Use it. This is your time to invest in yourself. Create your own legacy. Look for systems that you can duplicate. It's always good in the end. “I can reframe my thinking. I Know how to change the way I think and be open to new possibilities.” (click to tweet) yourresultsradio.com/43 Right now we are collectively grieving. We are grieving loss: loss of what was, loss of expectations, loss of our goals. Perhaps, the actual loss of a loved one. With facing such challenging times, I felt compelled to do a deep dive on how human beings face challenges and what we can do to build our resilience. Whether it's professional or personal, the one thing that will propel us through difficult times is our attitude. And so when things get extremely difficult, how do we not just maintain but continue to grow a positive attitude? What are the actions we can take to stay strong? To break this down for us I have brought on Barbara Rubel, MA, BCETS, D.D.A.E.T.S. Barabara is a subject matter expert in vicarious trauma. She gives professional advice to individuals and businesses who want to mitigate the impact of secondary traumatic stress, job burnout, and vicarious trauma in themselves, their teams, and in their clients. “Don't be the sheep. Get your own strategy.” (click to tweet) yourresultsradio.com/45 Fear causes hesitation. And many of us are standing still, sitting watching television and waiting for the pandemic to pass and for things to go back to “normal.” But if we don't use this time correctly, we risk missing out on some major opportunities. Now is not the time to hold back. Now is the time to learn to be a great entrepreneur. I've said it before; and I'll say it again: those who don't take action will be left behind. That's why I've invited my guest back on the show- Loral Langemeier. Loral Langemeier is one of today's most visible and innovative money experts. She accelerates the conversation about money, sharing how to, not just survive this tough economic climate, but how to succeed and thrive. Loral has gone from the farm to a mansion and has developed ways to stay on top through any market crash. Loral does not hold back or sugarcoat anything. If you want to know how to take action and start making money right away, you have to take notes from Loral. In this conversation she tells us her core strategies for keeping revenue streams flowing, and why listening to experts is key to your success. Download this episode now to know what action you need to take to maximize on these questionable times. “If you want to make money you have to have some discernment, strategies, and rules.” (click to tweet) Highlights 2008-2010 gave us a long time to recover. We can learn from that time. There is a lack of financial literacy. The critical three things everyone should be doing: forecasting spending, creating more income, and finding opportunities. This is the most indiscriminate time we've had. Don't listen to the media. Listen to experts who have been through it. The transfer of wealth worldwide will be the greatest that we've ever seen. Collaborate and creativity will keep you in cash right now. Involve your kids in learning how to make money. “We are nothing if we don't have good relationships with other people.” (click to tweet) Sometimes we let people into our life because we feel forced to. Sometimes it's because they are family, maybe it's someone who is a friend of a friend, or maybe it's someone you feel would be a good networking connection. The truth is, if you don't have a high level of trust it's not a relationship you are benefitting from. You need to be able to trust them, and it's just as important that they know they can trust you. If this two-way road doesn't exist, there will always be friction. You won't be able to move forward and you'll end up wasting the most valuable thing you have in this world: time. To dive deeper into the importance of relationships, especially the one you have with yourself, I brought on an amazing expert: Tanya Dube. Tanya is a Transformation & Personal Development Coach, International Keynote Speaker and published author, Tanya-Marie Dubé is the creator and founder of the Thriving After Divorce Radio podcast, an interview-based series geared to women who are going through divorce or separation and who need the fundamental building blocks to permanently overcome debilitating fears, self-limiting beliefs and feelings of victimization so they can thrive in both their personal lives and businesses. Tanya-Marie has been a life coach for 26 years and has a background in Social Psychology and is currently completing certification as a Tony Robbins Results Coach using the methodology and techniques from within Strategic Intervention, a program offered by Tony Robbins and Cloe Madanes at Robbins Madanes Training. When you build a relationship with yourself, you start to see how you fit into the world. Take the focus off of you and put it onto them. Who you are in the world is created by your actions. Often times your decisions aren't your own, they are your parents. It's ok to fail. We cultivate reality throughout thoughts. What comes out of your mouth about other people is a reflection of how you feel about yourself. Pay attention to what you're doing with your body. Notice the language you are using - both internally and externally. The most important conversations you have are the ones you have with yourself. Go ask yourself what it is you really want. “High trust relationships are everything.” (click to tweet)

Most people think being an entrepreneur means you'll be the boss, taking control and choosing when and how much you want to work. In reality, being an entrepreneur can be one of the most difficult tasks in the beginning. It's far easier to just work a traditional J.O.B. As you start your own business, it feels like you're doing everything. Then as you figure it out, you can start to pass your duties on to other people. It takes time. The success of a company takes a lot of time, but unlike a traditional J.O.B. being an entrepreneur has no limit to your success or your salary. If you have the dedication to stick through all of the setbacks you'll hit a point where you can't ever imagine working for someone else again. On that note, the biggest mistake I've seen people do is give up. Generally, when you feel like you're about to give up that's right when success is around the corner. You need to keep pushing past that point, and trust that it will happen. To discuss this more I brought on a very special guest today, Dave Farrow. Dave Farrow is the Guinness World Record Holder for Greatest Memory - he memorized the exact order of 59 packs of shuffled playing cards and recalled them with only one card error - that's 3068 cards! Dave began his career as a failing ADHD and Dyslexic student in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Ready to drop out, Dave went to the library to learn everything he could about memory, to improve his grades and graduate. While still in high school, Dave began teaching memory improvement techniques to other students and teachers and they all loved it. In 1996, Dave Farrow earned the Guinness Record for Greatest Memory by memorizing and recalling the order of 52 decks of shuffled playing cards (2704 cards). In 2007, he broke his own record by memorizing and recalling the order of 59 decks of shuffled playing cards (3068 cards). Today, Dave Farrow is a successful speaker, author and entrepreneur. His Farrow Method for Memory Improvement and Brain Based Learning is the top learning program of it's kind in the world. Dave and the Farrow Method have been featured on over 2000 interviews on TV, Radio and in print publications. Download this episode today and learn what it takes to find your own world record.

No matter what anyone tells you, success is not an easy thing. You will never find that short cut to the financial life you want. If anyone tells you it's easy, or won't take much time: run. They are selling you on a scam. To be a success you need to work, and work hard. But not just in business, in everything. Don't show up and just get by. Whether it's at work, or with your family, success comes from putting quality into every moment you have. The best way to do that is to put everything into actionable steps. Don't just aim for the big overall goals, break it up into smaller goals that you can easily tackle. And most importantly, you don't have to do it alone. Although you can't make it easy, you can make it easier by bringing in someone who has been there and done it. A coach will make your life so much better by helping you avoid pitfalls they've gone through. To go further into this, I have brought on yet another amazing guest: Dan Deigan. Dan Deigan serves as an inspiration to others. His energy, passion, and “laugh” are infectious. He is a devoted Husband, father, and the co-founder of Little Conversations Today, has a radio show on CIDI 99.1 FM entitled Your Conversation Counts, and runs MAX VTS a value and services company servicing the transportation industry. Dan grew up in Lachine Quebec, at the age of eleven his family relocated to Pointe Claire Quebec a suburb of Montreal. Dan was not a confident young man, he was insecure and afraid so he looked to the rough crowd to cloud his fears and insecurities, but all this did was find him in trouble with law enforcement. These battles lasted until the day his Dad handed him a copy of Dr. Norman Vincent Peal's book (The Power Of Positive Thinking). The concepts in Dr. Peal's book as well as the intensive work he found himself drawn to by the world's top personal development speakers like Brian Biro, Ed Foreman, Zig Ziglar, Bob Proctor, Dale Carnegie, and Wallace Waddles led Dan to a new awareness about what was possible when you change your Little Conversation in your head from the usual “I Can't do that” conversation to “Yes I can do that” “I choose to do that” and “I am not going to give up, I will eliminate my ignorance with education and I choose to make positive choices daily.” Dan is still a successful sales person in the expansive world of transportation. He lives in Ontario Canada with his wife Christine, son Brendan, and daughter Jessica. Download this episode now to learn how you can achieve the goals you want in every area of your life.

There's a lot of people out there who call themselves entrepreneurs, but they aren't. They're glorified managers. If you're doing all of the heavy lifting in your company, and just reacting to circumstances thrown at you, you aren't a real entrepreneur. You need to take control of the business, not run the business. Take the time to lift your head, and look at the larger picture. Work on developing strategy, and playing to your strengths. You, ultimately, want to have a business where if you disappear for a week or two it will continue to run without any problems. When you're integral to the day to day operations, you're still just working a job. Being “too busy” is often times really just being inefficient. To dive further into this, I brought you a very special guest: Ted Miller III. After working with 25,000 entrepreneurs from 24 different countries, Ted Miller IIII has realized there were not 25,000 reasons the business owner would get stuck and stop growing. Just like you would expect, he heard the same 13 challenges over and over again. Good news is, Ted uncovered distinctions on how to help his client better implement the proven business growth strategies & tactics to grow their business…often double sale in 12 months. Along the way he was able to partner with many of his mentors, such as Robert Allen, Jay Abraham, Chet Holmes, Tony Robbins and other business titan's while generating $100MM in revenue through business training, coaching and consulting. He also has his own show, Podcast Business Breakthroughs with Ted Miller III. Download this episode today to learn how you can be a real entrepreneur and not just a general manager.

“You have to become a bigger, stronger version of yourself.” I get so many people telling me how hard it is to get started. That things don't just come easy for them like it seems to for others. SHOW NOTES: YOURRESULTSRADIO.COM/29 “It's the action in the law of attraction that makes our dreams come true.” - Greg Reid One of the most common questions I'm asked is, “Shawn, I'm just starting out, how to I become successful?” The problem with this question is that most people don't even know what success is. Success is different for everyone, and it's based on your goals. The first place you need to start is looking at where you want to be. You need to set a clear, specific goal. Don't try to chase after too much. Don't try to be a rock star, a movie star, a CEO, and a chef all at the same time. You'll never be a success at any of them. Pick that one thing you want to be the expert in and follow that. Then you can know the secret to success: not giving up. We all know people who stopped a few credits from a degree. Who decided not to push their passions, and watched in envy as their peers became a success. Just when you feel like you can't do it anymore. Just when you feel like there's no point and you are running on empty, physically and mentally incapable of moving forward, that's when you know success is right around the corner. Keep pushing, no matter what, and you'll persevere. On this episode of Results Radio, I bring you another one of the very best: Greg Reid. Greg is an American filmmaker, motivational keynote speaker and best-selling author (best known for his book series titled Think and Grow Rich and Think and Grow Rich) which was authorized by The Napoleon Hill Foundation. He has been published in over 50 books, 28 best sellers, five motion pictures, and featured in many magazines. Reid is also the creator and producer on the International acclaimed films Pass It On, and Three Feet From Gold. His unique style has made him a highly sought-after keynote speaker for corporations, universities and charitable organizations. Reid currently runs the Forbes recommended mastermind Secret Knock. On today's episode, we discuss how you can define what success looks like for you, and how you can get out there to make it happen. You need a name and a hook based on your expertise. If people won't pay, they won't pay attention. It's not the destination, it's the journey. Most people don't define their goals. A lot of times we are focused on the wrong things. We all need to be more flexible on how we get to our destination. Successful people seek to counsel. Failures listen to opinion. “The universe will give us exactly what we are ready to accept.” - Greg Reid SHOW NOTES: YOURRESULTSRADIO.COM/29
