Nada, known as One Arab Vegan, is an avid vegan blogger and self-taught plant-based chef. Originally from Egypt but based in the UAE, Nada is inspired by creating delicious, empowering and nutrient-packed plant-based food inspired by Middle Eastern flavours. Through her blog, she also shares her experience leading a vegan lifestyle within a culture that is less than forgiving towards plant-based diets.
Hola! This week we are off to sunny Spain and we are joined by The Spanish Chef – Omar Allibhoy. Omar is the founder of Tapas Revolution, the critically-applauded Spanish tapas restaurant group. He has cooked for countless celebrities even the Royal Family. Omar is the author of two cookbooks, his debut book; Tapas Revolution is still one of the best-selling Spanish cookbooks in the world. Jajah starts off the episode telling us how Thai food is different regionally; for example, in the south of Thailand the food is very spicy, in the centre it is milder and sweet, whereas in the east the flavours are very sour. We are joined by ambassadors of the Indian cuisine, Anjula Devi a food consultant for Manchester United, arguably the biggest football club in the world, Jomon Kuriakose head chef of The LaLIT London as well as appearing on Celebrity Masterchef in 2018 and Samah Dada who has a cooking show on NBC TODAY show, yes it was a glamourous panel this week, to say the least! Vegan Mexican Cookbook We delve into the rich culture and history of Mexican gastronomy without which many European dished would simply not exist.
