Is Fabio Quartararo the first truly elite MotoGP rider to be trapped in the series' midfield for as long as he has been?Host Valentin Khorounzhiy discusses this with Simon Patterson on the latest edition of The Race MotoGP Podcast, ahead of Quartararo's home race at Le Mans that comes on the heels of a best-in-years weekend at Jerez. The show also delves into Quartararo's decision to stay put at Yamaha for 2025, the chances of him doing so again in 2027 - and the question of whether his lack of championship opportunities as he enters his theoretical prime as a rider is weighing on him. Finally, Val and Simon talk about the rest of Yamaha's line-up, discussing whether Jack Miller should count on a 2026 extension, whether Alex Rins's disappointing-so-far Yamaha tenure is likely to improve and whether it would make sense for Yamaha to try to bring in Toprak Razgatlioglu.Want more MotoGP podcast content?

The first season preview for 2024 and it's one of the big ones. It's time for the crew to sit down and talk all things MotoGP as we head for another brand new season, and while many important elements of the sport have stayed the same, there's a fair few under the surface changes (And one big one), that could factor into the Championship. We breakdown the major rule changes on the concession system, as well as the 2024 calendar before going team-by-team down the grid. Is Pedro Acosta the real deal at Tech3 KTM? How confident do the team feel about the state of Honda's rebuild? And can Yamaha do enough to convince Fabio Quartararo to stick around for 2 more years, even with the powerhouse signing of Alex Rins alongside? The big hitters are mentioned too. Can a rebooted VR46 team challenge the big boys, and will Bez regret not taking a GP24? Is Marc Marquez truly back to his best with a Ducati between his legs? What about Aprilia, the bike with an exhaust blown diffuser, can it challenge for the title again? What about KTM with Binder and co? And is The Beast, Enea Bastianini truly back? It's about time we put a bow on Season Review Season, as Dre and Cam go wild and review the good, the bad and the ugly of MotoGP in 2023, as the season eventually went back, to Bagnaia! We go factory by factory across the grid. The end of an era as Honda loses their Shohei Ohtani with Marc Marquez leaving for Gresini, and what happens to the genuinely talented team left behind. What about Yamaha? Are they about to walk into their own Marquez situation, but with Fabio Quartararo instead? And does Yamaha now have the best lineup in the sport with Alex RIns joining over? Aprilia kinda spun their wheels this season, beating Yamaha but losing out to KTM. But their riders are still strong, is that enough? And what do we make of the Trackhouse move now its official that the NASCAR outfit are joining the grid in 2024? KTM themselves are in an interesting place, after moving up to second, but a distant second. Is Brad Binder alone enough to close the gap for an inconsistent factory effort? Has Jack Miller become cooked? And was the right man flipped for Pedro Acosta? And finally, Ducati. From the brilliance of Bez and Diggia's late surge, to Marini's shock departure. And don't forget the frustrating brilliance of Jorge Martin's title campaign and Bagnaia becoming the point stuffer he was always meant to be. And what do we make of the future as the sport heads into a rocky 2024? All that and so much more in our MotoGP Season Review!

We also breakdown a lot of short stories to come out of the weekend - Such as Jack Miller crashing SIX times in a single race weekend.
