Most people predicted that Marc Marquez's arrival in the factory Ducati MotoGP team was going to be bad news for Pecco Bagnaia, but this bad?Ducati's lead title hope for the last four seasons (and twice world champion for it) hasn't beaten his new team-mate in a straight fight at all yet or even looked like doing so.Val Khorounzhiy and Matt Beer put Bagnaia's disappointing 2025 form centre stage in the latest episode of The Race MotoGP Podcast. Is Bagnaia tinkering with the ‘GP25-ish' too much searching for something that will prove impossible to find and does he just need to get on with riding it?Does Bagnaia now have to start thinking about a move away from Ducati? And is Fermin Aldeguer already poised to take his place? We let long-time Aldeguer advocate Val go suitably nuts about the Gresini rookie's rise as he starts to prove Ducati right for committing to him so early.Want more MotoGP podcast content?

Mancano quattro prove e tutto serve: qualifica (dove Martin è caduto), partenza (questa volta entrambi a fionda), Sprint e gara (Bagnaia impeccabile). Rivoluzione in Honda arriva Albesiano.
Bello rivedere in lotta, a centro classifica, Fabio Quartararo.
Vediamo come ci è riuscito.

As 2024 MotoGP launch season gets into full swing, The Race MotoGP Podcast joins Simon Patterson on his Italian road trip from Gresini to VR46 via a four-day Ducati extravaganza. He keeps Matt Beer and Valentin Khorounzhiy posted as he follows up attending Marc Marquez's debut in Ducati colours with a factory Ducati team launch where the main revelation was news of an aero change too significant to risk revealing before testing. We explain why Ducati - for all its domination - is potentially vulnerable around aero development, despite pioneering wings on MotoGP bikes in the 2010s.As for Valentino Rossi's new-liveried team, we ponder the early dynamic surrounding new signing Fabio Di Giannantonio and whether the 2023-spec Ducatis can really keep up with their factory-spec brethren. We also discuss the off-the-record element of major launch events and how useful they can be for relationships with riders, plus Ducati's attempt to transfer its MotoGP and World Superbike domination to motocross.Follow The Race on Instagram, Twitter and FacebookCheck out our latest videos on YouTubeDownload our app on iOS or AndroidClick here to join The Race Members' Club Hosted on Acast. It's about time we put a bow on Season Review Season, as Dre and Cam go wild and review the good, the bad and the ugly of MotoGP in 2023, as the season eventually went back, to Bagnaia! We go factory by factory across the grid. The end of an era as Honda loses their Shohei Ohtani with Marc Marquez leaving for Gresini, and what happens to the genuinely talented team left behind. What about Yamaha? Are they about to walk into their own Marquez situation, but with Fabio Quartararo instead? And does Yamaha now have the best lineup in the sport with Alex RIns joining over? Aprilia kinda spun their wheels this season, beating Yamaha but losing out to KTM. But their riders are still strong, is that enough? And what do we make of the Trackhouse move now its official that the NASCAR outfit are joining the grid in 2024? KTM themselves are in an interesting place, after moving up to second, but a distant second. Is Brad Binder alone enough to close the gap for an inconsistent factory effort? Has Jack Miller become cooked? And was the right man flipped for Pedro Acosta? And finally, Ducati. From the brilliance of Bez and Diggia's late surge, to Marini's shock departure. And don't forget the frustrating brilliance of Jorge Martin's title campaign and Bagnaia becoming the point stuffer he was always meant to be. And what do we make of the future as the sport heads into a rocky 2024? All that and so much more in our MotoGP Season Review!
Okay, some cleanup to take care of here first! Firstly, massive thanks to Lyla Oakes who let us use her Marc Marquez x Gresini Concept Art, she's the best and we love her! Also, sincere apologies for the delay on this episode, we had some technical problems cleaning up the audio on the backend, so forgive us - If you're a MotoGP fan, you'll be getting a lot of content in the coming days! In this episode, Dre and Cam make sense of one of the biggest MotoGP rider moves ever as Marc Marquez announced he'd be leaving Honda to head to Gresini and Ducati for 2024. We try to make sense of it from all the possible angles. What does it mean for Marc Marquez after 4 years of hell at Repsol Honda? What about Ducati, do they actually want him long-term or do they still see him as a threat? What about Honda, can they now finally have a rebuild with the lack of pressure behind them? And what about the sport as a whole? We also talk about Japan, and a race that was shortened by torrential rain. Jorge Martin doubled up and got a little lucky to get full points, but it's the first of what we think could be multiple twists in a quickly intriguing title fight. More on that next episode… All that and more on another Motorsport101 episode!
Have you ever seen three grown men choking down on one giant dick? Well you'll get to hear what that sounds like this week when Freido, Tug and Boris endure the humiliation of not just being wrong but being completely, totally and utterly wrong about Marc Marquez's move away from HRC to Gresini. For most people, this would be humiliating, embarrassing and emasculating. However, our three protagonists lack even that level of basic self awareness and so they push on regardless as though nothing has happened. And thank god they do. We hear from The Captain and Rossi and Boris even admits to not hating his own poem this week so that's worth listening to. Which you can do by pressing play now. (Then go join Patreon and buy Borrie's books at Shocknawe.com.au (https://www.shocknawe.com.au) so the boys have some of your money. It is literally the least you can do). Marc Marquez dominated yet another MotoGP weekend in off-track terms as he swept the paddock into a 'will he/won't he?'' frenzy at Misano with four days of speculation over whether he was about to break his factory Honda contract to join brother Alex on one of Gresini's year-old Ducatis for 2024.Then he tested Honda's 2024 bike on Monday and that prospect suddenly seemed a whole lot more realistic.Simon Patterson, Valentin Khorounzhiy and Matt Beer delve into all the drama Marquez created and assess the likelihood of the Gresini move actually happening in the Misano episode of The Race MotoGP Podcast. They explain why their levels of scepticism fluctuated through the weekend, and what the consequences might be for the rest of the Ducati line-up if Marquez made the leap. And our panel makes it pretty clear what outcome they all want to see from this storyline too.Another past champion at a struggling Japanese manufacturer team gets some attention too - Fabio Quartararo may not be leaving Yamaha before 2024, but is he going to spend 2024 trying to get out?The San Marino GP itself is also discussed - with some feisty debate over whether Jorge Martin's flawless domination was actually that impressive given how battered his main rivals were from the Catalan GP.Dani Pedrosa's amazing (but not amazing enough to satisfy one panellist) comeback and Takumi Takahashi's embarrassing one feature as well. And we also pay tribute to IRTA chief Mike Trimby after his sudden death in the middle of the race weekend, and explain just how huge his contribution to modern MotoGP was.Follow The Race on Instagram, Twitter and FacebookCheck out our latest videos on YouTubeDownload our app on iOS or Android Hosted on Acast.
