In the last episode before the amazing Degrassi Takes Manhattan movie, we get to watch a terrible musical with zero plot. Also I become Holly J & Declan's biggest fans - which I cannot say about any Degrassi couple in the past. Chantay demonstrates that COVID has not hit Degrassi yet when she drinks from what she thinks is Peter's water bottle. Tune in for trivia and tidbits!
Blayne Alexander and Josh Mankiewicz sit down to talk about Blayne's episode "The Haunted House Confession.” When 25-year-old Chantay Blankinship's remains were found near an abandoned farmhouse in a small Texas town, investigators wondered if someone from the close knit congregation at her church was responsible. Blayne talks about her emotional interviews with Chantay's family and boyfriend, and shares a podcast-exclusive clip of her interview with two members of Chantay's congregation who witnessed the killer's surprising confession. Plus, they answer viewer and listener questions, and Blayne reveals what she learned about cowboy hats and Texas Rangers.Have a question for Talking Dateline? In the 13th episode of the 9th season, a budding romance forms between Spinner & Emma - just kidding, but that's what Degrassi writers might want you to think. For whatever reason, Danny gets away with not being cheap after refusing to split an $8 man. If you like it, we love it, Chantay. Terri gets a 50% on trivia - so whoever said she was on a roll definitely jinxed her haha
In the 9th episode of the 9th season, Holly J bends over backwards to avoid being swooned by Declan - and ultimately loses. Leia loses her man when she follows horrendous advice from Chantay the Snake. Tune in for tidbits & trivia
Chantay Harrison-Crawford, a resilient 35 year-old woman, navigates life with Sickle Cell Anemia, Liver Disease, and various medical complications stemming from Sickle Cell Disease. Despite facing immense personal challenges, in 2019, she courageously founded Tilted Crown I Inc., a testament to her strength and determination. In 2023, Chantay confronted rock-bottom moments as she grappled with her own and her daughter's separate suicide attempts, triggered by toxic relationships within her family and circle of friends. Through adversity, she found a renewed purpose after a divine intervention during her second suicide attempt, leading her to dedicate herself to self-transformation and following a higher calling. As a mother, professional, wife, and entrepreneur, Chantay now channels her energy into fostering mental and emotional well-being. She initiated the "Royal Bible Study" program, aiming to empower women towards self-love and care, building on her commitment to serving others. Concurrently, she extended her compassion by offering shelter to two homeless individuals in Illinois. Chantay's past initiatives like "Wisdom Wednesday," documenting stories of Sickle Cell Warriors, and providing community support reflect her altruistic nature. Notably, she has also launched programs such as "Melanated Warrior" and "PMS - Pray and Manifesting Ish," emphasizing natural remedies for Sickle Cell Anemia and hosting relatable discussions through a weekly podcast. Embarking on a new chapter, she is set to release her first book under She Rises Studios, expected between November 2024 and January 2025, marking a significant milestone in her journey of resilience and empowerment. Her social media presence on Instagram as @Catica.33, TikTok as @dearcatica.333, and podcasts on IHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify under "Dear Catica.33" showcase her commitment to sharing experiences and insights.

Text your thoughts and questions! When we look at high-achieving professionals, great leaders, and anyone considered successful, the first things we notice are their abilities, talents, strategies, and determination. We zone in on the hard skills, but soft skills are essential. In particular, there is an area of self-management that not only paves a path to success, it's the key to combating stress, coming back from burnout, and helping you prioritize self-care in a way you haven't before. Chantay Golson joins me on the podcast as we dive into how emotional intelligence connects to our success, personally and professionally. This week, episode 218 of the Positively LivingⓇ Podcast is about why successful people strengthen their emotional intelligence! With over 25 years of expertise in mental health, Chantay Golson emphasizes the importance of establishing healthy foundations for intentional living. Her mission is to empower professional women to prioritize self-care and achieve balance. She is intentionally designing her life, rather than simply defaulting to one.In this episode of the Positively LivingⓇ Podcast, Chantay Golson shares her 3-tier formula for increasing your emotional intelligence and gives you actionable steps to take right now to use emotional self-awareness for better decision-making and stress management.Chantay and I cover the following topics:What Emotional intelligence (EQ) is: the ability to be aware of and recognize one's emotions and respond appropriately. How recognizing and investigating our triggers and patterns is the first step in developing emotional intelligence. How self-care (or soul-care as Chantay describes it) is an essential aspect of preventing burnout. Our stress levels, ability to prioritize self-care, and our personal and professional successes are all impacted by our choices and how we strengthen skills like emotional intelligence.Learn more about Positively LivingⓇ and Lisa at https://positivelyproductive.com/podcast/CONNECT WITH CHANTAY GOLSON: WebsiteYouTubeMeditationSisterhood MembershipCONNECT WITH LISA ZAWROTNY:FacebookInstagramResourcesWork with Lisa! The cure for healthy boundaries and mindful self-care is here! We often expect ourselves to be it all and do it all perfectly--and without complaint or sign of exhaustion. Episode 10 Rhonda Chantay BlankinshipIn 2016, in the small, tight-knit town of Brownwood, Texas, everyone knew Chantay Blankinship. She was a developmentally challenged young woman who loved to walk the streets of the town, listening to music and waving and smiling to everyone. But one night, she disappeared. She was found raped and murdered in a location that pointed to a local offender. Investigators were at a loss until a Parabon Snapshot image of the killer was revealed. And that image generated not only tips, but ultimately, a confession.
