Dakota gives advice to the Class of 2021
You're listening to Interest Podcast… After a long hiatus, we're back again with a College Series episode about Vanderbilt University with our very own Anudari Naran-Ochir (Class of 2021).
Week 2 of the NFL had a ton of excitement but there was nothing better than the dual between Lamar Jackson and Tua Tagovailoa. JT and The Don debate if this was enough to silence each of their critics. The quarterback class of 2021 has not been great so was it over hyped? The fellas debate that and the career trajectory of Patrick Mahomes. Let's not forget about college football as the defending champs, Georgia Bulldogs, are dominating through the early part of the season. However, should we start comparing this Georgia team to the 2001 Miami Hurricanes? Also, Nebraska fans are starting to call for Urban Meyer to be hired as the next head coach so should the university consider it? These answers plus discussions on Brett Favre, weekend predictions, the most disrespected athlete of all-time, and more! Enjoy and stay safe! Penn State football writers will get their first chance to speak to the recruiting class of 2021 this week. The program will host a media session on Wednesday for the 15 players from the class in their first official interviews as Nittany Lions. The progam has a long-standing policy not to allow players to speak to the media in their freshman year, but now that the group has had a year on campus (and media training), they'll meet with reporters for the first time. Host Thomas Frank Carr, and senior Editor Nate Bauer, set the stage for the introduction on the BWI Daily Edition. The pair start by recapping the players in the class, projected starters, and players who will contend for playing time next Fall. T-Frank and Bauer start by running back the history of the Class of 2021, which had a senior year in high school unlike any other. T-Frank also revisits some recruiting storylines about this group, including their ranking in the nation and Big Ten. Meanwhile, Bauer discusses which players he's interested in talking to and why. Yeeeeehaw! Camps collide in this special episode of The Camp Walk•Along Wire. Those campers from across the lake at Camp AT and Camp PCT are here to tell us all about their experiences thru hiking in 2021.
