O último projeto elaborado pelo arquiteto Oscar Niemeyer para Brasília poderá finalmente sair do papel. Representantes da Agência Reguladora de Águas, Energia e Saneamento Básico do Distrito Federal (Adasa) vieram a Paris em busca de parceiros para a construção do MINA, o Memorial Internacional da Água. Maria Paula Carvalho, da RFI em Paris   O projeto foi apresentado durante as comemorações dos 50 anos do Programa Hidrológico Intergovernamental da Unesco (IHP), que reúne, em Paris, até sexta-feira (13), representantes de 170 países. De acordo com Rogério Rosso, diretor da Adasa, uma parceria internacional poderá dar continuidade ao que foi planejado pelo arquiteto Oscar Niemeyer, anos antes de sua morte. "O nosso saudoso e lendário Oscar Niemeyer fez muitas obras, não só em Brasília, mas também no Brasil, na Europa e no mundo. E uma delas é o Memorial Internacional da Água. Ele era tão visionário que tinha essa preocupação com a água", disse em entrevista à RFI. "O nosso planejamento é que esse projeto, o memorial internacional, seja de fato internacional. Então, a Unesco nos convidou para apresentá-lo a mais de 130 países", continua. "A ideia é ter um local físico onde possamos mostrar às nossas crianças do mundo inteiro, aos jovens, a nós mesmos e às futuras gerações a importância de cuidar bem da água, em todos os seus aspectos", completa. O novo memorial, a ser construído às margens do Lago Paranoá, em Brasília, fará parte da Rede Global de Museus da Água, uma iniciativa do Programa Hidrológico Intergovernamental (IHP) da Unesco. A RFI também conversou com Eriberto Eulisse, diretor dessa rede, que conta com 120 museus pelo mundo — incluindo museus de ciências, história e arqueologia — para construir uma nova cultura da água. "Não estamos muito acostumados a ver água mais no meio ambiente. A gente fala bastante sobre isso durante as crises emergenciais ligadas ao aquecimento global, mas precisamos aprender a manejar a água de outra maneira, para previnir catástrofes, desastres e isso só é possível através da educação. Os museus da água vão preparar as futuras gerações para um manejo sustentável e os museus são essenciais para esse propósito".   O MINA será não apenas um museu, mas também um centro de estudos em recursos hídricos, com um anfiteatro, e exibirá exposições internacionais de países que possuem tecnologia e são referência no tratamento de água e saneamento. Rogério Rosso fala sobre os custos do projeto: "Nós já temos um levantamento feito. É um projeto estimado entre 60 e 70 milhões de euros. Vários países já manifestaram interesse em atuar como parceiros. Quanto mais países entrarem, melhor", explica. "Eles podem participar por meio de doações governamentais de seus próprios países ou de empresas desses países que atuam no Brasil", acrescenta. "Temos legislações de incentivo a aportes culturais, como a Lei Rouanet, e também um fundo de endowment, que é uma nova legislação em tramitação no Brasil voltada para fundos de cultura. Então, o MINA já nasce muito moderno também nessa parte de estruturação financeira", avalia. Segundo o diretor da Agência Reguladora de Águas, a iniciativa — que aposta na parceria com países, institutos, universidades e organismos internacionais — surge em um momento crucial para o planeta.   "Todos nós sabemos que as mudanças climáticas são severas em todo o globo. E tudo isso tem a ver com o nosso manejo de várias coisas. E a água é um recurso natural. Ela não é infinita, ela é finita. E sendo finito, a gente precisa cuidar dela com muito carinho, com muito amor. E é impossível um país cuidar e outro não. Porque a água não sabe onde a fronteira".  A cooperação internacional poderá finalmente tirar da gaveta mais um monumento do arquiteto que assina o projeto de Brasília, um marco do urbanismo moderno e que garantiu a inscrição da capital federal na lista de bens do Patrimônio Mundial da Unesco, em 1987. A previsão é de que as obras durem pelo menos três anos. "A gente pretende, em três anos, ter praticamente 70%, porque vai ser uma construção em várias fases", explica Rosso. "Primeiro, aquela parte central do museu, depois o anfiteatro, depois o Centro de Altos Estudos de Recursos Hídricos e o prédio da Governança", cita. 33 milhões de brasileiros não têm água potável O MINA também proporcionará capacitação e formação em recursos hídricos, clima, engenharia ambiental, entre outros temas, no país que abriga 12% das reservas de água doce do planeta. Atualmente, no Brasil, 33 milhões de pessoas não têm acesso à água potável e aproximadamente 90 milhões não contam com saneamento adequado, segundo dados recentes do IBGE. "Foi um projeto contratado pela empresa de saneamento de Brasília, a Caesb, há mais de 20 anos, ainda na década de 1990. E Niemeyer colocou esse projeto como prioridade, tanto que, no seu livro Minha Arquitetura — onde reúne suas principais obras — ele cita o MINA e destaca a questão da água. Portanto, esse projeto já existe, feito pelas próprias mãos de Oscar Niemeyer, e é um dos poucos que ainda precisamos implantar em Brasília para concluir o que ele idealizou para a nova capital do Brasil, a linda Brasília", conclui.

Uma exposição em Paris reúne obras de artistas brasileiros traçando um paralelo da arte nacional e da arquitetura modernista no Brasil com o arquiteto e urbanista franco-suíço Le Corbusier. A mostra "Aberto" está em sua quarta edição e acontece fora do país pela primeira vez, numa proposta cultural que integra as ações da Temporada França-Brasil 2025. "Aberto" 4 está em cartaz na Maison La Roche, no 16º arrondissement de Paris. Cerca de 35 obras estão expostas na casa de Le Corbusier, um prédio tombado como Patrimônio Mundial da Unesco, e que foi idealizada pelo próprio arquiteto.Filipe Assis, fundador do projeto, diz que teve a ideia de unir arte e arquitetura. “Escolhemos a casa do Le Corbusier, e esta não é qualquer casa, mas uma das mais importantes da produção dele como arquiteto. E por ele ter essa relação rica com o Brasil, contamos aqui um pouco da história da arquitetura brasileira, da relação que Corbusier teve com Lúcio Costa, com Oscar Niemeyer e a influência que ele teve posteriormente na arte brasileira”, contou, já adiantando que o plano é levar o projeto para outros países.“Geralmente a gente tem um núcleo em torno da figura do arquiteto que projetou a casa que estamos ocupando", explica Kiki Mazzucchelli, uma das curadoras da exposição. "Em cada uma das edições tivemos sessões um pouco mais biográficas, que contavam um pouco da história da casa e do arquiteto. E aqui não foi diferente”, detalhou.Arte e arquitetura integradasA curadora comentou que houve um trabalho minucioso para integrar a arte aos espaços existentes. “Quando fazemos a curadoria do 'Aberto', pensamos muito no espaço. Como usamos espaços inusitados, que não são feitos para serem expositivos, levamos muito em consideração a arquitetura. O que temos aqui nessa exposição da Maison La Roche é uma grande mistura. Então, na grande galeria do monsieur La Roche, que era um grande colecionador, e que tinha as próprias obras expostas nesse espaço, fizemos uma seleção de obras de artistas históricos, ligados ao concretismo e ao neoconcretismo. Mas a maioria das obras contemporâneas foi de obras comissionadas, ou seja, foram diálogos com cada artista que respondeu a algum aspecto da prática do Le Corbusier", conta. "Alguns optaram por dialogar com as cores que ele escolheu para essa casa, outros com o pensamento da arquitetura moderna que ele introduziu no Brasil. Enfim, são vários olhares distintos em relação a essa figura do Le Corbusier, menos como uma grande influência, mas mais com a criação de diálogos com essa obra vasta, que perpassa a arquitetura e a arte”, disse. Le Corbusier e o BrasilLauro Cavalcanti é pesquisador e especialista nas obras de Le Corbusier e de Lúcio Costa, tendo escrito três livros sobre as ligações do arquiteto francês com o Brasil. Ele, que também integra o grupo de curadores da mostra, conta que a relação de Le Corbusier com o país se deu ao longo de toda sua vida e que foi muito importante também para um outro grande nome da arquitetura brasileira.“Nos anos 20, Le Corbusier percorreu a América do Sul fazendo conferências, nessa ocasião fez um esboço de um plano de cidade para o Rio e se apaixonou. Sete anos depois, Lúcio Costa, a quem tinha sido encomendado o Ministério da Educação (atual Edifício Gustavo Capanema, no Rio de Janeiro), chamou Le Corbusier para ser consultor. E junto a uma equipe de jovens arquitetos brasileiros, eles fizeram esse prédio que entrou para a história da arquitetura mundial. E a solução final foi dada por Oscar Niemeyer.  Então, Le Corbusier deu ao Brasil muito, recebeu muito também, porque foi a oportunidade dele provar que não era só um teórico. Mas ainda nos deu Oscar Niemeyrer, porque ele se revelou em um trabalho com ele. Ninguém achava que Niemeyer fosse o gênio que foi”, contou.Do Paraná para a EuropaUm dos artistas a expor na "Aberto", Sidival Fila falou sobre a importância da experiência, a primeira vez em que participa de uma exposição coletiva com grandes artistas brasileiros. Ele, que trabalha com tecidos antigos, é de Arapongas, no Paraná, mas vive e atua em um convento de irmãos franciscanos em Roma, na Itália, há 20 anos.“Meu trabalho é criar essas formas internas construindo e reconstruindo a superfície e elaborando uma imagem, criando a tridimensionalidade, volume, luz, integração entre fios e fundo”, explicou ele, monstrando um quadro comporto por um tecido em seda, feito à mão, datando de meados de 1800, um material "raro e precioso", ressalta. A "Aberto 4", na Maison La Roche, fica em cartaz até o dia 8 de junho e os ingressos, que custam €10, podem ser adquiridos diretamente na entrada da instituição.

A verba, de acordo com especialistas, poderia ser usada para cortar a tarifa de luz. In today's podcast I interview Dr. Robert Niemeyer, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Psychology at the University of Memphis. Dr. Niemeyer is a leader in the field of Thanatology, the science or study of death, dying and bereavement. He has published 33 books, including the New Techniques of Grief Therapy: Bereavement and Beyond, and serves as the Editor of the journal of Death Studies. He is the author of over 500 articles and book chapters and a frequent workshop presenter. As a clinician and researcher, he is perhaps best known for his work on meaning making in grief and is currently working to advance a more adequate theory of grieving as a meaning-making process. Key points: In our interview we explore the meaning making process of grief after a sudden or unexpected death and the concept of narrative reconstruction used in meaning making. Dr. Niemeyer also demonstrates three techniques that can be used in therapy to facilitate meaning making after a traumatic loss each of three domains: 1) the story of the event, 2) the backstory, and 3) the creation of the self, or meaning of our lives, going forward. He used a technique called restorative retelling, developed by Dr. Ted Rynearson, to help find meaning with the story of the event. Dr. Niemeyer demonstrated this technique as an appropriate way to work with someone who is struggling with the details of the circumstances that ended their loved one's life. For the second domain, he showed us a way to restore connection with a deceased loved one to communicate what needs to be said. And finally, for the third domain he described a technique called composition work. This intervention uses objects such as stones to represent aspects of the self, such as, roles and feelings along with other articles to represent those who are important and loved in an individual's life. Then the objects and articles are rearranged on a table or sand tray at different life periods of a client's life including prior and post death, and in the future to help connect with different and emerging parts of the self. Dr. Niemeyer is also the Director of the Portland Institute for Loss and Transition and shares opportunities available at the institute for clinicians interested in specialized grief training. I have been fortunate to attend multiple trainings by Dr. Niemeyer over the years in person and online, and I have always left these trainings with greater insight about myself, a deeper understanding of grief and new ways to work with clients who are living with grief. In addition to the opportunities Dr. Niemeyer shared at the Portland Institute for Loss and Transition, he has also just released a Grief Therapy Masterclass entitled: Advanced Skills in Working through Loss. This class covers the meaning-based model he briefly addressed today along with a module on trauma-informed approach to loss, realigning relationships with the deceased and reinventing the self after loss. If you are living with traumatic grief, you may find it helpful to begin exploring meaning with your therapist or to begin exploring some of the resources Dr. Niemeyer recommended on your own.
