Brandon and Sarah talk about when kids TV shows cross the line into highly adult territory, sneaking grown-up jokes and innuendos past the censors. This week, our heroes double dip into the weird, crazy world of the 80's (and some 90's and beyond) cartoons; as well, they are a never ending gift of weirdness to talk about. It starts off with that, then as the title of the episode goes....you get the idea. With hosts Kevin Collar and Will McBride, joined........again this week by Aaron Alessandrini, we just can't seem to get rid of that guy. Producer Adam continues to do the bare minimum for credit. Its Back to the Basics this Week. Feral and McWonderBeast discuss a boil from hell that only McWonderBeast can handle. Is masturbation without consent sexual assault? One hand says yes, many more have their hands full. In this time of questioning our holiday songs and if they're politically correct, we find out that Rudolf is in fact a safe space. Bob, Alex, Andy, and special guest host Dave Voderberg get some old time religion from Jason Tostevin's horror comedy short 'Born Again', then settle into a parking orbit around 1997's 'Event Horizon', Paul W.S. Anderson's ode to do-it-yourself opthamology.

Depp plays Will Caster, prominent researcher and developer in the A.I. world. Along with his wife and trusted colleague, Will is trying to create a self-aware machine that contains infinite knowledge and full range of human personality and emotion. When he and his colleagues become the targets for radical guerrilla hackers, Will finds himself faced with the inescapable fact that he, out of necessity, becomes the first living participant in what he calls Transcendence. And it works. Suddenly Evelyn (Rebekah Hall) and Max (Paul Bettany) have to decide how much of this new Will is actually Will, and who’s interests is he working toward? An eventual split between Will’s thirst for knowledge and power and Max’s human morality sets the stage for the inevitable question. Can something that is smarter than you be stopped by you? We ride through this film accompanied by impressions of our favorite South African Rapper, a business proposal for Cowboy Curtis, the plot of the movie The Sandlot, a shoutout to a twitter fan, and a new blend called Allsorts. All this and more on this week’s episode of 3Amoviegos.
Join John Pavlich of Sofa Dogs and me as we watch Johnny Utah go toe to toe with Elrond with a little help from Cowboy Curtis in the 1999 emo action thriller that started a revolution! We wax philosophical over dreamscapes, simulations, body horror, the juxtaposition of old and new technology, and the wearing of super cool sunglasses at night! I reveal my secret Internet hacker name, John reveals what Star Wars films he has not seen, and we both examine what works and what doesn't quite work for each of us. We discuss the sequels a little bit when they inform this film, but most take the movie on its own terms. John is momentarily dumbfounded by the thought of Carrie-Anne Moss' boobs in Red Planet; I am momentarily dumbfounded by the thought of Katie Holmes' boobs in The Gift.
