Users in North America will receive the update on August 27. Like their previous release “Firefox Quantum” desktop browser revamp, they are naming this release “Firefox Daylight” as it marks a new beginning for the Android browser. Included with this new mobile experience are lots of innovative features, an improved user experience with new customization options, and some massive changes under the hood. New Firefox features Android users will love Privacy & security This product offers Enhanced Tracking Protection, providing a better web experience. The revamped browsing app comes with our highest privacy protections ever – on by default. ETP keeps numerous ad trackers at bay and out of the users’ business, set to “Standard” mode right out of the box to put their needs first. Mozilla has been stepping up their privacy centric approach for users. Earlier this week they released a feature in Firefox for Facebook isolation. Now they have released a feature in the iOS Firefox browser to have privacy protections turned on by default. Now the same privacy protections that were added in the Firefox desktop app and Firefox Focus browser are now standard and turned on for the iOS browser.
