In April, Gary O’Sullivan’s 24-year-old brother Sean Óg collapsed suddenly at the family home. His heart stopped beating, and his family, particularly his father, saved his life by performing CPR until the emergency services arrived. That week members of the Killarney family were fitted with pacemakers after tests confirmed they’ve the same genetic condition that caused Seán Óg’s heart to stop beating.
