Die vereniging se voorsitter, Raphael Pieters, voer aan dat die verhoging 0,46 persent minder is as in die vorige boekjaar. Hy betreur die gebrek aan betrokkenheid tussen pensioenarisse en die pensioenfonds se bestuur. Pieters eis verteenwoordiging van pensioenarisse op die fonds se raad om hul belange te beskerm. Pieters is aan die woord.

Dit is nou meer as 'n jaar wat plaaslike media berig het oor 18 miljoen Namibiese dollar wat na bewering verlore geraak het van die Staatsinstellings Pensioenfonds. Volgens berigte was vals bank konfirmasie briewe gebruik om die geld na sekere rekeninge oor te plaas. 'n Voorlopige ondersoek deur die fonds het verlede jaar bevind dat 17.7 miljoen dollar oorbetaal was in 46 bankrekeninge. Onlangs was die fonds weer in die nuus nadat 119 000 dollar verlore gegaan het en werkers tydelik geskors was. Segueix la moda de la sobreproducció dels jocs abstractes per tal d'intentar arribar a més gent. Santorini és un clar exponent d'això, quan va sortir l'any 2004 com a un "simple" joc amb peces de fusta només érem uns pocs els que ho teníem en compte... vuit anys després, amb una reedició espatarrant en crowdfunding el joc s'ha esgotat i tothom vol un Santorini a la seva ludoteca. Photosynthesis és el mateix cas que Santorini, però havent sortit directament sobreproduït a un mercat que agraeix i paga amb escreix aquesta estratègia de "vendre pels ulls". Si els jugadors estem disposats a desprendre'ns del tema i la cosmètica, com a jocs abstractes millors que Santorini i Photosynthesis trobem qualsevol joc del projecte GIPF... però està demostrat que l'experiència lúdica que busca el gran públic és multidimensional. Per una banda volem un joc que funcioni mecànicament parlant, per l'altra un producte atractiu i impressionant per mostrar en el nostre ritual social i si, a més a més, ens explica una història o ens recorda un tema que s'hi avé (o "sintonitza") amb quelcom que volem promoure amb certes dosis d'esnobisme entre els nostres companys de joc... caixa o faixa! A tot això també està el "postureig" que fem a Instagram, Twitter o Facebook... per a aquestes necessitats Photosynthesis és un joc ideal. A mi personalment m'ha semblat un joc interessant (però no tant com per quedar-se a la meva ludoteca), amb una discutible rejugabilitat, un pèl monòton i que sí o sí necessita jugar-se amb les regles opcionals per evitar estratègies guanyadores.
