Vor vier Jahren ist der weltgereiste Autor Matthias Politycki ("Weiberroman", "Samarkand Samarkand", "Das kann uns keiner nehmen") aus seiner, wie er sie selbst nennt, "linksgrünen Blase" in Hamburg nach Wien gezogen. Er fühlte sich im Schreiben und Debattieren zunehmend eingeschränkt durch political correctness, wokeness und cancel culture. Nun veröffentlicht er den zu jener Zeit entstandenen Essay "Mann gegen Mann" und schreibt darin "von alten und neuen Tugenden". Wohlgemerkt männlichen Tugenden: wehrhafte, verteidigungsbereite Männer brauche das Land. "Oder besser: Menschen mit alten, traditionell den Männern zugeschriebenen Tugenden braucht das Land, welchen Geschlechts auch immer." Während Alphamännchen à la Trump und Putin ihr Testosteron auf der Weltbühne verströmten, marodierten gleichzeitig maskulinistische Machos durch unsere Straßen. Beidem müsse man sich in den Weg stellen. Und zwar mannhaft. Im Gespräch mit Jürgen Deppe sagt Matthias Politycki, dass Jahrtausende alte Geschlechtertraditionen noch immer in unseren Genen steckten, dass sich traditionelle und neue Männerbilder ergänzen müssten und dass ein Mann einem andern besser eine Hand auf die Schulter lege als ihm mit der Faust zu drohen.

Coole Jungs, eine Villa auf Ibiza und die Suche nach paarungswilligen Weibchen – so oder so ähnlich lautet die Prämisse vieler Reality-TV-Shows, auch als Trash TV bekannt. "Player of Ibiza" scheint auf den ersten Blick genau in dieses Schema zu passen. Seit dem 10. Mai 2024 ist die Serie in der ARD Mediathek verfügbar, was die Frage aufwirft, wie unsere Gebühren verwendet werden. Doch keine Sorge, es handelt es sich um eine neue Mockumentary-Comedyserie, an der die Macher von "Die Discounter" beteiligt waren. In der neuen Mini-Serie geht es um eine TV-Produzentin, die fünf Möchtegern-Alpha-Männchen zu Feministen machen soll. Zum internationalen Frauentag oder wie er auch genannt wird: Feministischer Kampftag, ist Tara-Louise Wittwer bei uns zu Gast. Sie ist Autorin und auf Social Media mit Formaten wie TikToxic über den Account „WasTaraSagt“ bekannt. Ihr Ziel: Sie versucht Feminismus für die Menschen, die Angst davor haben, die niedrigschwellige Inhalte brauchen, zugänglich zu machen. Für die Gleichberechtigung und das Aufzeigen von der frauenfeindlichen Sozialisierung, die wir alle - mehr oder weniger - erfahren. In den sozialen Medien tummeln sich Männlichkeits-Influencer, die meinen: Männer sollen muskulös, reich und den Frauen überlegen sein. Frauen sollen nach dem Willen der „Alpha-Männer“ feminin und passiv sein. Aus solchem Gedankengut kann auch Extremismus erwachsen.

Ist es nicht ein Jammer? Früher gab es einfach mehr Sex. Das finden zumindest das christliche Magazin Corrigenda und seine Autorin Beile Ratut. Die haben nämlich lang und hart nachgedacht und teilen uns jetzt erregt mit, dass die Gleichstellung von Frauen dazu führt, dass durchschnittliche Männer keinen Sex mehr haben. Nein, nur noch Alphamännchen mit Maserati haben Sex. Oliver und Till sind überrascht, denn diese Zusammenhänge waren ihnen bislang noch nicht direkt aufgefallen. Ob das alles vielleicht nur für Christenmännchen gilt? Ganz im Ernst: Corrigenda und Beile Ratut schaffen es in einem einzelnen Artikel, sowohl massiv frauen- als auch männerfeindlichen Sexismus zu versammeln.
