The show was good for what it was although it would have been better if it was a 2 season show rather then 1 season. It has a good and solid start with a rather weak lackluster finish that did not leave a good taste in your mouth but even with that, it is a show that is worth the watch none the less. It even reminded and urged Jack to play some RTS games like he used to back in the day from how the show played out. We liked that is was a different take on the Brolly story. The story was well it was a Dragon Ball Super it had fighting and some comedy mixed in what more could you want from this? It delivers what you expect and not much more beyond that. But it does give you some different views on everyone wich is a good thing. Kat, Leo and Bcom return for the 41st episode of the podcast, and discuss weeks 5 and 6 of the Winter 2018 anime season. This week, they face their biggest challenge yet...trying to understand what the hell was happening in Record of Grancrest War. Leo and Bcom have a fiercer argument over the quality of a dance scene than the judges of Dancing With the Stars ever have. Kat assures us that the Linba ship is alive and well in Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens, but Leo is still frustrated by the idiotic decision to play Lin at short stop. We’re back to run down the top shows of the Winter 2018 season. We’ve watched episode 1-3 for most of the shows below and we’re ready to hash out our favorites and come to a (mostly) agreed upon list of the 10 that we will follow throughout the rest of the season.Winter 2018 really is a diverse season for anime. We’ve got some gorgeous shows, like Violet Evergarden and a Place Further than the Universe, as well as some shows that might burn holes into your eyeballs if you look at them too long, like The Ryou’s Work is Never Done or Pop Team Epic. It’s got everything from hard-boiled thrillers like Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens, to iyashikei camping tourism advertisements like Laid-Back Camp. And it even has a highly anticipated horror show from a well respect horror manga author…called Citrus.  Seriously, it’s horrifying. I didn’t know writing could be so bad. In the end, it’s just nice to be starting anew in 2018.
