Nick first, he left home at 16 to try and build a career as a performer.....he did almost every job possible as part of that journey but then did become a performer on London's West End stage starring in musicals including Book of Mormon, Cats, Fame, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Peter Pan, and Wicked. However, during the pandemic he also took a supermarket job to make ends meet, and during that time, he started experimenting with drag....and very quickly ended up appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race UK as Ella Vaday where he finished as runner up. So Nick's all about perserverance, and not being afraid to try new things. Personally, his mum has twice had cancer which has had a big impact on him, she's recovering now for a second time and he is doing a 100km CoppaFeel trek in June to raise money and awareness of breast cancer.Follow Nick/Ella on instagram/tiktok @ellavaday Follow @acountydownunder on Instagram and TikTok and visit www.acountydownunder.com for all you need to know about life abroad .Join Caroline's amazing weekly Sunrise Social clubs across the world. The podcast is proudly sponsored by Gym+Coffee: 20% Discount code: DOWNUNDER

Huhu! Willkommen zurück zur Family Show.
