It's Tuesday, March 11th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Supreme Court takes case of Christian counselor vs. transgenderism The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear a Colorado case of a counselor who has been cited for counseling clients under 18 about a Biblically sound position on homosexuality and transgenderism. Alliance Defending Freedom will argue that the Colorado law violates counselor Kaley Chiles' freedom of speech. Colorado law currently allows counseling conversations that aim to steer young people towards transgenderism, but prohibits conversations that aim to help them to remain content with their God-given gender. Thus far, 26 out of 50 U.S. states have endorsed body-mutilating surgeries for children between the ages of 13 and 17. Thousand citizens and militants killed by Syrian government France 24 reports as many as a thousand citizens and militants have been killed by supporters of the new Syrian government over the last few days. Execution style murders are being conducted in the Alawite State of Northwest Syria, and some of the victims are Christians. Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa denounced the violence. Al-SHARAA (through a translator): “Anyone who commits violence against civilians will be held accountable. It is our duty to protect our compatriots.” Menacing warships from Russia, China, and Iran Eastern nations are forming closer military and political alliances as warships from Russia, China, and Iran initiated joint exercises on Monday in the Gulf of Oman. This is the fifth such drill since 2019. Dutch reject one true God, turning to false Muslim god Religious faith is declining in the Netherlands. A recent survey found only 13% of the Dutch consider themselves Protestant, and only 4% attend Protestant churches. That compares to 6% of the Dutch aligned with the Muslim religion. The study discovered that Protestants are losing adherents by a rate of 3% every decade, while the Muslims are increasing by a rate of 1% every ten years. Swiss Evangelicals drop from 34% to 3% Another survey conducted in Switzerland found only 3% of the population attend an Evangelical church. And the Evangelical population has dropped off to 19.5% of the population, down from 34% in the year 2000. Over the same period of time, the Muslim population increased from 3.6% to 6.0%. The rate of Protestants leaving the Swiss churches has topped 1.6% per year. Catholics are leaving the church at the rate of 1.2% per year. The warning from Romans 11:20 to be humble is appropriate for the Gentile nations: “Because of unbelief [the branches] were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.” Wyoming Gov. cuts property tax 25% and bans transgender nonsense Wyoming Republican Governor Mark Gordon signed several bills mirroring the Trump agenda over the last week. He signed a bill cutting property tax by 25%, and another bill banning government programs which favor or disfavor people on the basis of religion, race, or sex. John MacArthur: “I'm on my last lap.” Pastor John MacArthur appeared on video at his Shepherd's Conference last week. The 85-year-old pastor of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California and the voice of the Grace to You radio ministry has undergone three heart surgeries and lung surgery over the last several months. He noted that he's slowly recovering strength after the ordeal. He closed his address with these words. MacARTHUR: “I realize I'm on the last lap. That takes on a new meaning when you know you're on the short end of the candle. But I am all thanks and praise to God for everything He's allowed me to be a part of and everything He's accomplished by His Word in these years of ministry. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord, Jesus Christ.” MovieGuide affirmed best pro-family movies and actors The 2025 pro-family MovieGuide annual awards were announced last week. The most inspiring movie award went to the Catholic story of “Cabrini.” The film “Reagan” on the life of the U.S. president, received the Faith and Freedom award. The most inspiring performance of an actress went to Candace Cameron Bure, for her role in “A Christmas Less Travelled” on the Great American Family Network. And the most inspiring performance for an actor was awarded to Jesse Hutch for his role in “Christmas Under the Northern Lights.” Bitcoin down, Gold up Bitcoin has lost 22% of its value in the last month. Gold is up 4%, now hovering around $2,900 and change per ounce. The U.S. trade deficit has spiked 100% year-over-year in January, hitting a record $155 billion — which would amount to almost a $2 trillion annual deficit. Exercise helps sleep And finally, it turns out that exercise is helpful for sleeping. That's the conclusion arrived at by researchers studying a group of 2,170 people ages 60 and older. Muscle training such as lifting weights and doing pushups improved sleep scores by 5.75 points and aerobic exercise improved sleep scores by 3.76 points. 1 Timothy 4:8 reminds us that “while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Tuesday, March 11th, in the year of our Lord 2025. This week's movie had to be financed by multiple prepper supply companies because I wanted to go buy a bomb shelter and some remote land as the end credits rolled. That movie is “Homestead” which tells the story of a group of people that hole up in a self-sustaining remote survival compound known as The Homestead, after a nuclear detonation in L.A. It's owned by Ian Ross, played by Neal McDonough from “Band Of Brothers”, “Minority Report”, “Walking Tall” and other projects. He hires Jeff Ericksson, an ex-Green Beret and his men, to support and defend The Homestead. Ian needs them because America is falling apart, when the Russians also shut down power all over the country, and people start panicking. Ian finds himself in a battle of wills with Jeff, and even his own wife, over what The Homestead can do for people on the outside. Some want to help as many people on the outside and others do not and this feud just heightens the tension. This comes to us from the same studio, Angel Studios, that brought us “Sound Of Freedom” and this movie is really the pilot episode of a new “Homestead” TV series. Is this movie/pilot episode worth checking out? Check out my spoiler-free review episode to find out! “Homestead” also stars Dawn Olivieri, Susan Misner, Jesse Hutch, Bailey Chase, Kevin Lawson, Currie Graham, Olivia Sanabia, Kearran Giovanni, Grace Powell, Tyler Lofton and Jarret LeMaster. In this Movie Show Digital Extra, Bailey Chase and Jesse Hutch, stars of Homestead join Andy Farnsworth to talk about the movie. Bailey plays an ex-green beret named Jeff Eriksson who is hired by a rich doomsday prepper to provide security at his compound in Utah when the country collapses into chaos after an attack on America. Hutch plays Eriksson's army buddy Evan Lee, who also is providing security and military training to the people living at the homestead. Chase & Hutch talk about their roles in the movie--spoiler-free in the first segment, then with spoilers in the second segment--and a little bit about themselves, including Chase's former roommate (a famous sports star), and Hutch's surprising similarites to a certain Marvel mutant superhero. Homestead (Angel Studios), in theaters starting Dec. 19th, stars Neal McDonough, Dawn Olivieri, Bailey Chase, Kearron Giovanni, Olivia Sanabia, Susan Misner, Jesse Hutch and Currie Graham. Directed by Ben Smallbone. Based on the book series Black Autumn by Jeff Kirkham and Jason Ross. The most valuable life lessons often emerge from our most difficult circumstances. While these experiences give us insight into our own lives, they also provide meaningful stories to share with others and point them towards God, who can ultimately give them comfort through their darkest moments. This week, we'll hear from Jesse Hutch, a Canadian-born American film and television actor, who recalls how a near-death experience taught him the peace that comes from fully trusting in God's control and the importance of using scripture and prayer to ground your beliefs. Later in the episode, we'll hear from Randy Frazee, author of The Story, which arranges the Bible chronologically so that readers can experience it as one, whole narrative. He shares how his journey through depression deepened his empathy and reliance on God, and how he now uses this experience to support others facing similar struggles. If you're still breathing, if you're still above ground, you have an option, and that option is to completely give it all over to God, because that honestly is the most peaceful place you can be.” - Jesse Hutch “I'm very interested in the human heart. I think God made it very unique and it's awesome and it's amazing and special. And so I can go play a character that I've never done in real life, and yet I can understand hurt and pain and sadness, joy, jealousy, and all these different emotions that we all go through at times, and you bring that to the table.” - Jesse Hutch “God has this beautiful way of never taking you back on the same trail you walked on. He always brings you back to Him in a new, fresh way.” - Jesse Hutch “I really am mindful to stop and to speak into the life of somebody, whether it's a kid or an adult, a person who is discouraged, because that speaking vision into them, what you see, could really change the outcome of their life.” - Randy Frazee “I think it's important for people to realize that the feelings of anxiety or depression are not sinful. These are emotions that God has given us to alert us and to allow us to go through seasons of difficulty.” - Randy Frazee “He is going to carry us along. He's going to encourage us. He's going to walk us through it. And He factors in our weakness in selecting us.” - Randy Frazee “God offers us in our relationship with Jesus, a joy that's despite our circumstances, despite other people, despite our past, and a level of joy that can actually defeat worry in our lives.” - Randy Frazee “God is writing a story. And you are a character in that story, He deeply loves you and He wants you to look up. And if you look up, He promises that everything is going to turn out just all right for you, it's going to turn out great for you, and He wants to give you His joy.” - Randy Frazee ________________________ Enjoy watching these additional videos from Jesus Calling YouTube channel! Jesse Hutch, actor, stuntman, and now co-host of the 89th Chicago Thanksgiving Parade, joins Wendy Snyder, filling in for Lisa Dent, to talk about his career as an actor from Freddy vs. Jason to his many Hallmark movies and his upcoming with Angel Studios. Jesse will be co-hosting tomorrow from 8am-11am.
Today on The Neil Haley Show, Neil Haley and Kim Sorrelle interview Jesse Hutch. Jesse Hutch was born in the same location as the Marvel hero Wolverine. This could be nothing more then a fun fact, however, it does not excuse why Mr. Hutch is immune to Tylenol and Novocaine(most commonly used in dental practice). He drowned when he was 19 years old. Fell from a 25 foot rock quarry while free climbing in high school. Had his stomach cut open by a barbed wire fence when he was 10, and he moved across the country(solo) when he was 21 to pursue acting. This was the first time he was ever on an airplane. Now, after 22 years of being an actor, Jesse Hutch says he is still working on his: "22 year overnight success story". You may have seen him in classics such as Freddy vs Jason or The Butterfly Effect. Maybe you saw him in the 60's as Jimmy Riley on Dick Clark's American Bandstand(American Dreams). Dark Angel, Kyle XY, Smallville, Arrow, Almost Human, Supernatural, Batwoman and Project Blue Book are but a few of his television roles. Keep an eye out for his latest roles, one being "Savage Lands", an historical fiction about Davey Crockett, Jesse plays the villain known as spike. Now over to the romantic comedy zone Jesse stars in "B&B Merry" along side actress Jen Lilly. The list goes on with Supernatural, Wu Assassins and Coffee & Kareem(theatrical release). Mr. Hutch recently Directed, wrote and acted in a proof of concept for a new television series he's developing. When asked what his best role has been to date, his response: "My best role of all time is that of husband and father. I believe that giving your life for others is one of the greatest gifts you can strive for. Turns out this is also the best acting class you will ever take...life".

Ho ho ho the week 7 2022 Christmas movie wrap up is here bringing lots of drama and good cheer with it! On the heels of Neal Bledsoe announcing his departure from GAC Family we have a lot to discuss with this week's movie lineup. Hallmark and Lifetime went back and forth this week on the best of. Lifetime's Thursday movie, Serving up the Holidays was not a watch, while Cloudy with a Chance of Christmas on Friday was a redemption chemistry movie for Brandon Quinn, A New Orleans Noel on Saturday took the top award, and they rounded out with Merry Textmas that had a great title and plot but again - the chemistry just wasn't there for me. Hallmark started with A Big Fat Family Christmas which was good but slow to help the main character, and then moved to a magical storybook movie with A Fabled Holiday starring one of my favorites, Ryan Paevey. Their HMM movie The Holiday Stocking once again left me in absolute shambles and they finished strong winning Sunday with Undercover Holiday. UpTV proved why I could really do without their movies most of the time with absolute train wrecks both Friday and Saturday with Christmas in the Wilds and Christmas on the Slopes. Their Sunday movie Christmas on the Rocks which featured another Sarah, actually earned a high 4 despite their terrible movie poster. That leaves us with GAC Family again. Candace Cameron Bure had another feature film with her good friend Andrea Barber in the lead role in Candy Cane Lane, but what is with all the marriage problems this year?? Sunday they had B&B Merry featuring a typecast Jesse Hutch and Jen Lilley and it was the first movie of hers I didn't want to turn off in the first five minutes so that says a lot for both films. All that plus more laughs now! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Today's episode features an awesome conversation with actor Jesse Hutch! Jesse has been in a ton of movies and television shows and he's an awesome man of God. He is super passionate about his faith, and he loves sharing Jesus with everyone he comes across. Often, Jesse works on set with the lost, and he feels like God uses him to reach people in Hollywood and beyond through the screen. While he may act as characters on TV, Jesse doesn't want his faith to be an act. He wants to be authentic and live his life just as God called him to.

During Christmas Con 2022 in Pasadena, CA we spoke with founders Liliana Kligman and Christina Figliolia talking about the holidays, their favorite movies, the Genesis of Christmas Con and 90s Con. Christmas Con Pasadena was originally schedule for August, 2020, but we all remember quite well what happened that year, so after a two year delay, Christmas Con 2022 had arrived and did not disappoint. This was the West Coast trial run for Christmas Con as the one in New Jersey houses triple the attendees. Though, Pasadena will not be far behind next year as the expected growth will surely make Hallmark Christmas movie fans, and lovers of the holidays alike come out in droves to meet not only their favorite stars, but be cheery and bright. Unlike several conventions I have attended in the past, Christmas Con not only had the holiday vibe and spirit, but each Hallmark notable guest was kind and engaging with their fans, from host Jonathan Bennett and headliner, Lacey Chebert, as well as the Jen Lilley, Jesse Hutch and so many others. In fact, the only thing really missing was the hot chocolate, but Pasadena in August, it was okay that the warm drinks went missing in 95 degree weather. All this is a testament to not only the professionalism but also the friendship between Kligman and Figliolia, who have put together two larger Christmas Con events in New Jersey, but also 90s Con in Connecticut. Word has it, that 90s Con has been requested to have secondary events in Florida as well as here in California and we couldn't be more excited for that possibility. Kligman and Figliolia are already planning for Christmas Con 2023 in California the reaction of the attendees, it is understandable. Christmas Con is a generational event where grandparents and grandchildren came out to celebrate the love of the Christmas season and their favorite films with their favorite actors. Christmas Con will return to New Jersey December 9, 10 & 11, 2022 New Jersey Convention Center in Edison, NJ, and next summer here in California. Start planning ahead by visiting That's 4 Entertainment's official website www.thats4entertainment.com to plan for Christmas Con and 90s Con across the U.S. in the coming months. #Christmas #ChristmasCon #ChristmasMovies #HallmarkChristmasMovies #Interview #FanboyNation

This week in continuance of Hallmark's Christmas in July, I did a Listeners' Choice Poll: Candace Cameron Bure themed, listing four movies with the unofficial queen of Hallmark herself. With an overwhelming majority, 2013's Let it Snow wins starring Candace Cameron Bure and Jesse Hutch. This is one of my favorite Christmas movie starring Candace. It touches upon the meaning of Christmas which is family, love and rebirth, not all the marketing it has become in recent years. In this podcast, I touch upon some of the Christmas traditions this movie focused on as well as the importance of family.
