The end the pod, each of the hosts give their predictions for how Virginia will fair in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

Rodney Terry and the Texas Longhorns added two players to the bench for the 2023-24 college basketball season, first a transfer from UCF in Ithiel Horton, and then a reclassification from 2024 wing Devon Pryor, who will now head to Austin for the upcoming campaign. With a full bench and key additions to the starting lineup in Kadin Shedrick and Max Abmas, are the Longhorns prepared to win the Big 12 in their final season before moving to the SEC? West Virginia has been in the news mostly for players departing the program, following the ongoing saga of Bob Huggins' employment in Morgantown, but interim head coach Josh Eilert struck a deal with Florida State transfer guard Jeremiah Bumbry to bring him to campus. Bembry medically redshirted last year and is a bit of a mystery, but could be a huge addition for the Mountaineers with four years of eligibility remaining. Finally, Xavier is without Jerome Hunter for the foreseeable future, leaving Sean Miller with a gaping hole on the wing. They are connected to WVU transfer Jose Perez, could they land him as a replacement? Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

The Texas Longhorns Football Team unquestionably has one of the most talented Quarterback Rooms in the country and @On3sports seems to think so as well, ranking the Texas Quarterback room of Quinn Ewers, Maalik Murphy and Arch Manning third in the country only behind Caleb Williams and USC, and LSU. Can a breakout year from Quinn Ewers move Texas up in these rankings? The last month has been a rollercoaster to say the least regarding Rodney Terry and this Texas Men's Basketball team. While he received good news from Kadin Shedrick, Dylan Disu and Max Abmas, it was accompanied by the devastating news of Ron Holland decommitting from the program. RT hasnt let it faze him, and is hosting two transfer portal targets this week on the 40 acres. Can RT quiet the doubters and put together a roster capable of making another deep run in the NCAA tournament? Tanner Witt made his return but the Texas Baseball team lost 15-7 in a game that was only close in the first inning. Bijan Robinson was selected eighth overall to the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL Draft after dominating for the Texas Longhorns Football Team for the last three seasons. Atlanta was looking for a huge boost to their rushing attack and there was no better option than selecting the Doak Walker award winner in Bijan Robinson, who became the first offensive player from the University of Texas to be selected in the first round since Vince Young went to the Tennessee Titans. Rodney Terry made huge moves this week that included the return of Dylan Disu and the additions of Max Abmas and Kadin Shedrick via the transfer portal. The portal continues to churn, and we've got thoughts on the biggest moves of the last seven days. Gonzaga solidified itself as a potential top-15 team with the additions of Ryan Nembhard and Graham Ike, leaving Arizona out to dry in the point guard sweepstakes. Alabama bolstered its roster with Aaron Estrada and Latrell Wrightsell, Texas added Kadin Shedrick to improve its frontcourt, and North Carolina made a few splashes with Harrison Ingram and Cormac Ryan joining the fray. Plus, notes on other moves around the periphery as commitments continue to come off the board.

Recently, we have seen a lot of movement in the transfer portal across the country because of spring ball ending and players realizing that they might not have the best opportunity to play at their current universities. At the University of Texas, we have seen players transferring in and out of the program and for the most part, the players coming in have been a net positive for Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Football Team. We have not seen (atleast yet) any players leave the University of Texas and go to another Big 12 school to compete against the Texas Football Team. We definitely have not seen a Texas player decide to transfer to one of our biggest rivals in Texas A&M or Oklahoma, until possibly now. There are two crystal balls on 247 in favor of Brenen Thompson transferring to the University of Oklahoma. How should Texas fans feel if Thompson chooses to cross the Red River to play his college football? Rodney Terry has not had the best first month in his tenure in terms of being the full time head coach at Texas , but that could change soon. Max Abmas and Kadin Shedrick were both on the 40 acres last week and my sources believe that Max Abmas is headed to the 40 but what else can Rodney Terry bring in via the portal. Who should the Kentucky Wildcats go after to help bolster their frontcourt depth? On today's episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe gives three players that Kentucky basketball should go after not named Hunter Dickinson, the star Michigan transfer. There aren't a lot of options right now that would be better or as overall talented as Dickinson. John Calipari could go after Virginia transfer Kadin Shedrick... but it looks like Missouri, Xavier, Duke and Texas are going after him. The Wildcats could look at Moussa Cisse, but there doesn't seem to be any interest. Is Kentucky hurting themselves by hoping that Oscar Tshiebwe will come back to college for one more season? Zoom Diallo (not related to Hamidou Diallo) is a five star point guard that Kentucky basketball has recently shown interest in. Would he be a good fit for the Wildcats? Diallo himself thinks so. Is Kentucky hurting themselves by hoping that Oscar Tshiebwe will come back to college for one more season?Zoom Diallo (not related to Hamidou Diallo) is a five star point guard that Kentucky basketball has recently shown interest in. Would he be a good fit for the Wildcats? Diallo himself thinks so.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!LinkedInLinkedIn jobs helps you find the candidates you want to talk to, faster. It was a busy day for the Hoosiers on Wednesday as they saw both the departure of Jordan Geronimo and the arrival of Payton Sparks. On top of that, the team reached out to North Carolina transfer Caleb Love and is still recruiting Virginia transfer Kadin Shedrick all while the women's team also saw Kiandra Browne enter the portal. On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) reacts to all of the news of the day, starting with Sparks being the first transfer to come to IU this spring. At the same time, Geronimo entering the portal hours later was not surprising, though, after he fell completely out of the rotation at season's end.Indiana also reached out to Love, a player they recruited out of high school and could fill some needs on the roster while leading to more questions as well. And despite landing Sparks, IU remains active in recruiting Shedrick, another center to help IU's depleted frontcourt depth. The show wraps by discussing Kiandra Browne entering the transfer portal. The Indiana Hoosiers are staying incredibly active in the NCAA transfer portal over the last week. With UNC's Caleb Love the biggest name to enter the portal yet, could IU set its sights on a top guard? On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) discusses whether a move for Love, who the Hoosiers recruited heavily out of high school, makes sense for next season. As a high-usage, low-efficiency player, it would be tough to fit him into IU's offense alongside Xavier Johnson. The Hoosiers have remained busy in the rest of the transfer portal as they've targeted both Virginia's Kadin Shedrick and Rice's Quincy Olivari. The former is a big man who could fill the role of backup center while the latter is another guard that is a high-volume shooter that could further space the floor.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Built BarBuilt Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar.
