Maggie Baugh is a violin player, singer, songwriter, guitar player with a great attitude. Maggie Baugh plays high energy Country music with both a Southern Rock sound and a Bluegrass Fiddle Flair. Maggie performs originals and covers with an attitude and a positive message. Maggie Baugh can be seen performing her hour long solo set, or walking on and playing fiddle with local bands.In 2013, Maggie Baugh performed at over 70 venues and events, including fairs, festivals, charity events and major venues. Maggie Baugh is a Nashville based Singer/Songwriter. Maggie joins Country Music Made Me to discuss the moment she fell in love with Classical Music while watching the animated Disney show Little Einstein's, the journey she began at the age of 6 towards Julliard and a career in Classical Music, and how being bullied in school helped lead her towards Country Music as a way to heal. Maggie and Brendan talk about her development as an artist while playing shows around her home state of Florida as a teenager, how regular trips to Nashville during High School cemented her journey towards a career in Country Music, and how her focus of playing as many live shows as she could during her first two years in Nashville effected her music. Finally, Maggie explains how 2020 helped her evolve as a musician, why her focused shifted to creating music inspired by her emotions rather than her live performance, and what it means to see major growth within her career while being an independent artist.
