Part One Jim DiEugenio Jim's Website Kennedys and King Maureen Callahan Goes over the Edge - Along with Megyn Kelly Read Part Three Jim wraps up his three part review of Maureen Callaghan's fictitious book, Ask Not. Read a detailed & shortened version of the reviews on Jim's Stubstack. Before publishing Ask Not, why didn't Callaghan or Kelly invest in a professional fact checker? Why wouldn't Megyn Kelly try to verify Callaghan's claims BEFORE Callaghan's interview? Callaghan relies on disinfo books written on the Chappaquiddick event by Paul Burke & Leo Damore. Unfortunately, Ted Kennedy's first wife, Joan, was unable to curb her alcoholism. Jim disputes Callaghan's claim that Ted Kennedy killed Mary Jo Kopechne. Ted Kennedy had never been to Chappaquiddick before July 18, 1969. Ted Kennedy rarely drove anywhere by himself, he was usually driven by a driver. Jim feels the accident was due to Ted Kennedy not knowing the Chappaquiddick roads or Dyke Bridge. On August 23, 1956 Jackie Kennedy gave birth to a premature baby girl, Arabella, who was stillborn. Although Arabella wasn't due for five weeks, Callaghan implies JFK was negligent by being absent. Diana de Vegh first wrote about her "affair" with JFK when he was a Senator, 60 years after the fact. Rosemary, daughter of Joseph & Mary Kennedy, born with mental health issues. In desperation, Joseph Kennedy gave approval to doctors to perform a frontal lobotomy on Rosemary. Jackie Kennedy was absent from the birthday fundraiser for JFK at Madison Gardens in NYC. Jackie wasn't fond of going to fundraising events, where she felt "for sale", asking people for money. Marilyn Monroe was just one of seventeen different entertainers at JFK's birthday fundraiser in 1962. Marilyn Monroe was married & divorced three times by age 35. Where is Callaghan's evidence that Marilyn was having an affair with JFK or RFK? How could JFK or RFK be responsible for Marilyn Monroe's death if they weren't with Marilyn? Jackie went to Europe with her sister, after the death of baby Patrick who died at just two days old. Jackie returned in time for JFK's trip to Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. As 2022 continues to steam on, what are some ways you can build your fitness business? Every fitness professional knows that once the summer months come around, it's fewer sessions with their clients or less participants in their group fitness classes. But these months can also be beneficial towards continuing your career within the fitness industry. During the slower months, this can be the time where you invest in your foundation such as education, marketing, or advertising. You can enroll in a new educational course or work on the latest social media trend. This type of work helps ensure that you continue your career as a fitness professional and ensure that slower months become less and less. In the month of April, we released three podcast episodes and a tutorial on the best lavalier microphone for online workouts. The tutorial goes through the Rode Wireless Go and why this microphone should be one of your first investments when you're creating online workouts or even for your social media channels. Our three guests for the KIPS Podcast were Sarina Jain, Mary Kennedy, and Michelle Lasiter. Sarina is a three decade industry veteran that has built a global brand, which includes her instructor training, Malasa Bhangra. In this episode, Sarina shares how she adapted her training as the fitness industry evolved all while keeping culture a part of the course. The segments where Sarina talks about culture and why she wanted to include Indian culture in her course are fascinating but also what makes it special. As fit pros we see a ton of formats that claim to be the “best” or be “new” but after watching you quickly see it's pretty similar to a lot of other formats. Finding the elements that make your instructor training unique helps the course stand out. In the clip shared, Sarina shares why she condensed her two-day instructor to one-day and her thought process behind it. Over the last two-years, individuals in the active aging community grew more comfortable with the use of Zoom. Zoom not only allowed individuals to connect online with friends and family across the globe, but also showed them that purchasing services over Zoom is a viable option. Mary Kennedy shares insight into training the active aging population through Zoom and how she deals with typical components of a training session such as the assessment. Mary also shares how she grows her online training business, which might surprise fitness instructors looking to gain clients in the active aging population. In the clip shared, Mary explains how she started to do assessments online. As a fitness instructor progresses their career, they begin to see the importance of a work-life balance. Guest Michelle Lasiter shares how being a busy mom and instructing fitness classes differs from being a new instructor with an open schedule. Michelle shares how when she had her first child, her schedule flipped from teaching in the evenings to teaching in the early mornings and late morning. With non-traditional work hours for fitness instructors being a common occurrence, scheduling your days and times to instruct will also vary with the age of your kids. One of the areas that Michelle shares is the importance of nailing your try-out and interview when looking to get hired at a new gym. Michelle used to be a manager for a major gym franchise in Arizona and shares the perspective from the instructor and manager. A good piece of advice that Michelle shares is making sure you show your personality during your demonstration and be a professional. Even if you have limited availability, managers will hire quality instructors if they believe the instructor will bring value to their gym. Over the last two-years, individuals in the active aging community grew more comfortable with the use of Zoom. Zoom not only allowed individuals to connect online with friends and family across the globe, but also showed them that purchasing services over Zoom can be effective and professional. In this episode of the KIPS Podcast, guest Mary Kennedy shares insight into training the active aging population online and how she deals with typical components of a training session such as the assessment and cueing. Mary also shares how she grows her online training business, which might surprise fitness instructors looking to gain clients in the active aging population. Mary starts the episode by sharing how Zoom allowed her to train clients in different states and how online training has allowed some of her clients to gain access to exercise. What many fitness instructors forget is how training the active aging population may have barriers such as transportation. Using Zoom for workouts can be done in the comfort of a client's home and can be just as effective. On top of this Mary shares why she wears certain colors while teaching online and why it's important to do so. One of the best segments of this episode is when Mary shares how she performs assessments and has altered her cueing for online workouts. Being creative and thinking outside the box with these items has helped her be more effective with her communication and gain the information needed to create individualized programs. When Mary cues online, she is often pointing out on her own body and showing where the client should be feeling the exercise. This level of instruction is a modification to her usual teaching style but also a way to impart knowledge onto the clients. This podcast focuses on the important topic of mental health and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on rural life. Contributors to the podcast shared their own personal experiences and knowledge in this area, these included: Jonathan Dwyer from Devilsbit Macra na Feirme in Tipperary, Founder of Make the Moove mental health workshops; Ian Power, CEO of SpunOut.ie; and Carmel Dawson, Public Relations Officer of the Irish Countrywomen's Association (ICA). Ian Power discusses the impact of Covid-19 that has resulted in restrictions for young people, in particular a lack of social contact. Research carried out by SpunOut.ie shows that young people in rural Ireland are twice as likely to say that they feel isolated at this time when compared to those in urban areas. He also discusses the work of SpunOut.ie to support the mental health of young people during the pandemic, and his hopes for the future. Jonathan Dwyer was alarmed by the high suicide rate in North Tipperary and Laois, and how this was affecting his own community. As a result, he started the Make the Moove mental health workshops, which looks into the mental health pressures for young people in rural Ireland and the lessons they have learned from examining similar international examples. Carmel Dawson discusses how the pandemic has disrupted people's lives and the problems it has caused in the form of a lack of services and isolation in her hometown of Tullow in Co. Carlow. She also discusses how the ICA and its Federations have adapted to the restrictions.

This episode is hosted by Mary Kennedy, one of Ireland's best-known TV and radio presenters and authors and is centered on the important issue of farm safety. Guests include Kerrie Leonard, who was the victim of a farming accident; Pat Griffin, Senior Inspector with the Health and Safety Authority (HSA); and Alma Jordan, Founder of AgriKids. In this episode, Kerrie Leonard from County Meath discusses the life-changing spinal injury she suffered in a farming accident and how it has impacted her life and that of her family. Kerrie strongly believes in promoting the importance of farm safety and the potential dangers, while also operating a working farm area. Since her accident, she has competed internationally in archery, completed a Master's qualification, and is currently working with a technology company.  Pat Griffin from the HSA provides industry statistics on the profile of farmers who are most vulnerable to accidents and discusses what needs to be done to tackle the issue. While agriculture represents just 5% of the working population, it consistently represents approximately 40% of workplace deaths, with children and the elderly having accounted for 75% of fatalities on farms so far this year. Pat also speaks about the impact of Covid-19 on the agriculture sector, as well as the correlation between mental health and farming accidents. AgriKids founder, Alma Jordan highlights the current work that is underway to empower and educate children on farm safety; how it has adapted to Covid-19 by embracing technology to reach an online audience; and plans for the organisation.
