How do we know when leadership development actually makes a difference? Leadership development is often promoted as the answer to major social, organisational, and global challenges. But how can we tell if it is truly effective? This episode explores how researchers, practitioners, and communities define “evidence,” from measuring individual growth to evaluating broader systems change. Listeners will hear what it takes to design, deliver, and assess programs that not only build capability but also deliver tangible outcomes for society. Key Themes & Talking Points: The diversity of leadership programs and the problems they aim to address. What counts as “evidence” of leadership development. Balancing research perspectives with practitioner experiences. Measuring transformation: from personal leadership growth to systemic change. With Toby P. Send us a textA last in the series of special episodes of The Euphoria Trance Podcast celebrating the 100th release.Everyone favourite records are a subjective choice but over these few episodes, I've picked out the tunes that for me best encapsulate the sound of Trance through the years, the ones that never left my bag, the ones I played over and over again, the ones I heard my favourite DJ's cane the most. They'll be some tracks missing that have destroyed dance floors and torn up the airwaves over the years but I couldn't fit them all in. So apologies if your favourite is missing. But the next 5 episodes should hopefully wet your oral appetite and get you dreaming of the days when you were back on the dance floors of Passion, Cream, Gatecrasher et all. So either sit back and relax, or turn it up loud and party hard cos this is the ultimate Euphoria Trance podcast. And it continues with the years 2002 to 2005.1. Trucks rumble, cones wobble and burgers sizzle—but the real story is how Dublin gets winter-ready long before the first snowflake. We're live from Dublin's SnowGo Roadeo where practice meets performance and friendly competition sharpens the skills to keep roads safe. You'll ride along with veteran staff, hear how new drivers learn to maneuver massive plows through tight turns, and pick up practical tips that make leaf collection smoother for everyone on your street. We talk with the Director of Public Service about snow school, route rehearsals and the rapid transition from a 10-week leaf program to full winter operations using the same vehicles. Our City Manager, Megan O'Callaghan, jumps into the big rig to feel the visibility challenges first-hand and shares how materials, equipment checks, and route familiarity all come together to protect the community. Then we geek out with the City's Data and Analytics Manager to unpack the SnowGo and LeafGo systems: sensors and GPS, automated vehicle location feeds, turn-by-turn route guidance and how prioritizing arterials, collectors and residential streets reduces deadheading while speeding recovery during storms. If you've ever wondered why your block gets plowed when it does, how the City tracks progress in real time, or what you can do to help crews move faster—like keeping leaf piles off the street and away from mailboxes—this conversation lays it all out. Preparation is quiet work, but when the storm hits, the results are loud and clear: safer streets, fewer delays and a community that understands the plan.Enjoy the on-the-road energy, meet the people behind the plows and the data, and see how planning, training, and technology turn winter weather into a manageable mission. And don't forget to follow the show, share it with a neighbor and leave a review to help more residents find these valuable insights

Amy has led an extraordinary life and she's still only in her 30s.While the SNP MP for East Dunbartonshire she suffered a brain hemorrhage. As she recovered, she had to battle the arcane rules of the House of Commons in order to speak and vote on behalf of her constituents. Having narrowly beaten Jo Swinson in 2019, Amy then lost the seat in 2024. So what's life like outside of politics? And what does the future hold for her? This is a great chat about life and how fragile it is. And what that means for politics. #378 In this powerful episode, Guy welcomed back Cailin Callaghan to discuss overcoming anxiety, the significance of lucidity in the world, and mastering self-talk. Cailin shared her journey through near-death experiences, overcoming sexual assault trauma, and the grueling withdrawal from medications. She emphasized the transformative power of attention, perception, and taking control of the mind. The conversation covered practical steps to relieve anxiety, the importance of forgiving for personal peace, and how to listen to inner guides. This episode is filled with deep insights on achieving inner peace and manifesting a better reality. About Cailin: At the age of twenty in 1978, I made a trip to the Lustrous Vast of Quantum Imminence where I was met by the guide whom I had, five years before, dismissed as merely the imaginary friend of my childhood. He, The Daemon Michael, is the source Consciousness from which I spring into this world venue, and he and I operate in a few other venues together as well while my body is sleeping here in Earth Venue. When I met him in the Lustrous Vast, T. D. Michael gave me a life review and a revelation of what Humanity is doing that is destroying their happiness and preventing access to all the powers of their “godly estate.” Empowered by this revelation, and inspired by the Divine Love I became while in the Lustrous Vast, I wielded my Will to literally raise my body from the dead. (It's not hard to do when you know what you are and what the Earth is.) My body had died from head trauma when a stallion had kicked me in the face, knocking me from the back of the running mare I'd been astride, chasing that stallion. My body lay in a pasture with my friend running towards it. As she stood over my still form, thinking I was dead and wondering what to do since we were so isolated, I, like a gusting whirlwind of Will, reinhabited my form, and the body's eyes popped open. I started right away trying to deliver to the world the Liberating Perspective The Daemon Michael had given me, but it was 1978, and the world was not acquainted yet, in large, with the Quantum principles I/We had to offer. It's been a while since both teams have had similar levels of playoff fever, but FC Cincinnati and Nashville SC are both in positions to qualify for the MLS Cup playoffs. The big question then becomes...which team qualifies first? While Pat Noonan's branch of the Philadelphia coaching pipeline has produced repeated dividends, let's not forget that B.J. Callaghan was coaching aside Jim Curtin first with the Union. Callaghan has Nashville on the brink of returning to the playoffs after missing it in 2024. We chat with Wes from Club & Country to dissect the Nashville squad and ask if the recent swoon is a cause for concern. On the heels of a 12-match undefeated streak and a deep U.S. Open Cup run, was the team wise to not bring in new talent during the transfer window? And when the rubber hits the road—we both loved that tire pun—which team will leave TQL with the better result? Tune in and trade threads with us! #MLS #FCCincinnati #soccer Become a Patron! Sean O'Callaghan is an associate professor of religious and theological studies at Salve Regina University, where he also serves as a coordinator of the AI Initiative. The history of humanity is the history of individuals making decisions, sometimes collectively, and sometimes individually. New artificial intelligence, AI, brings a new player into the mix: machines capable of making decisions alongside or instead of their human counterparts. Sean O’Callaghan and Paul Hoffman grapple with the theological implications of this new technology. Sean O'Callaghan is an associate professor of religious and theological studies at Salve Regina University, where he also serves as a coordinator of the AI Initiative. He previously served as director of the Ph.D. program in humanities and technology and is currently a faculty member in that program. He received his Ph.D. in systematic theology from the University of Liverpool in 2008. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In this episode, the boys celebrate a week of wins against Columbus and Toronto by remarking on the incredible resilience of the team, their ability to play a variety of different styles, and some sick passes by Andy Najar. There's also plenty of affection to go around for Sam Surridge as well, as his play has been incredible lately, and remind us again why Nashville isn't hosting the MLS all-star game? Anyway, with all these goals, there are lots of favorite things to honor, like St. Jude's Hospital, the beauty of synth wave music, fond memories of Greer Stadium (Nashville OG's know what we mean), and believe or not, Microsoft Excel. And is someone from the Nashville SC marketing team listening to our podcast, or are we just kindred spirits? To wrap up, the boys gaze into their balls - crystal balls, that is - and predict some bold and exciting outcomes for the upcoming game versus San Diego. And they drink beer.

In this episode, we're joined by Dr. Theresa Callaghan, skincare scientist of 35 years and author of Help! I'm Covered in Adjectives: Cosmetic Claims & The Consumer. With wit, science, and decades of industry experience, Dr. Callaghan helps us unpack the seductive language of the beauty industry—revealing how terms like “clinically proven” and “anti-aging” are often more about persuasion than proof. From scientific credibility to regulatory blind spots, this conversation is a must-listen for anyone who buys (or sells) cosmetics, including men.
