Labor Day is coming, So WHAT, just the holiday to end summer right. Er ist jung, er ist erfolgreich, er ist ausgebucht bis unter die Haarspitzen und er sagte einst: "Wenn ich Erfolg im richtigen Fernsehen habe, muss ich nie wieder auf Promo-Tour in irgendwelche Podcasts oder Internetformate gehen!" (Gedächtnisprotokoll) Und heute ist er wieder hier: Aurel Mertz! Herr Körber spricht mit Aurel über die dritte Staffel des Tele-5-Erfolgsformats "Boomarama 3000", über Moderatoren-Nachwuchs und das Thema Fernsehen. Sattelt die Kühe für einen wilden Medienritt! Vor uns steht der neue Frank Elstner! Aurel Mertz feierte erste Erfolge beim öffentlichen Casting-Aufruf „Deutschland sucht den Supermonat“ und konnte sich dort gegen Michael August und Vanessa Mai durchsetzen. Seitdem stehen alle Ampeln auf Erfolg: Frank Elstner wurde auf seinen Lieblingsmonat aufmerksam und verpflichtete ihn für seine Master Class. Entgegen zahlreicher Berichte gab es diese Moderatoren-Ausbildungsschule tatsächlich und war kein Prank im Rahmen von "Verstehen Sie Spaß!?". Mit dem Ergebnis haben wir uns nun auf sämtlichen medialen Kanälen rumzuschlagen, wie beispielsweise auf dem Internetsender ohne Internet, Rocket Beans TV, oder auf dem privaten Sender Tele 5, an dem mehrheitlich Oliver Kalkofe und diverse Haie beteiligt sind. Aurel Mertz wurde als fertige Moderationsmaschine eines Tages in einem Körbchen vor den heiligen Hallen von Tele 5 abgestellt. In einem Umschlag brachte er gleich die Idee für seine eigene Late-Night-Show „Boomarama“ mit, die nun bereits in die dritte Staffel startet. Mertz gelang damit schon jetzt eine echte Seltenheit im deutschen TV-Business. Drei Staffeln! Wir finden: WTF?! Dieser Teufelskerl weiß mit seinen jungen 13 Jahren also allerhand zu berichten und plaudert nun mit Herrn Körber – seines Zeichens zu uncool, zu alt, zu Möchtegern für die Elstner-Elite – über das Fernsehen und was junge Hüpfer heutzutage noch dazu ermutigt, eine Rolle in der Mattscheibe einnehmen zu wollen.
