This week, your faves are back with a unique episode for y'all. In true Danana fashion, we start off the show (2:41) with some music coming in with Usher's "Yeah", leading us into how we spent our week, bringing us to the chaos. Naomie is apparently a lyricist as she is about to drop an album (4:12) without giving Daniel his royalties. You don't wanna miss the story behind her bars. LOL. Then we transition into the main portion (9:55) of the show where we answer 16 questions about each other, ranging from the worst, ugliest, and best parts of our friendship over the last ten years. You're in for a big reveal on this episode. It's the raw, uncut, and authentic truths about us and how we feel about each other. Strap in! We close out (1:32:10) with new music and movies this week. To culminate our 4th anniversary, we close out the month of March with the Captain America: Brave New World movie review. In true Danana fashion, we start off this week's episode (2:53) jamming to Burna Boy's new collab record with Haitian superstar Joé Dwèt Filé titled 4 Kampé II. Then we quickly catch up (9:08) on our week. Danny reveals that he had an interesting conversation with his dad, and unconventionally admits that Naomie was right about his obsession with work. Then Naomie posed the question of the week (27:11), which spoke to men getting a vasectomy in marriage, and when is the right time to do it.Then, on the main portion of the show (39:51), we come in with the movie soundtrack “I” by Kendrick Lamar, leading us into the switch from Chris Evans (Steve Rogers) as the original Captain America to Anthony Mackie, A.K.A. Clarence (Sam Wilson). We discuss the reception of Anthony Mackie being accepted by the Marvel audience, his black representation, his amazing performance, and how he stepped into the role effortlessly while maintaining his authenticity. Then we give our honest review of the movie (1:50:11) using our SPP metric, mess around of course, and close out with new music and movies this week. Then we catch up a bit on how each of our weeks went, of which Naomie had some good news (16:42) on Danny's behalf. Then Danny poses the question of the week (25:15) stemming from a professional compliment he got recently, and he asks, do you hate the pressure of feeling like you were made for more? Smith confrontation as regards Bronny, Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor finalising their divorce, Druski & Odell Beckham being named in Diddy's case + MORE. HAPPY NEW MONTH Y'ALL! PISCES SEASON!!! This week, your faves are back with yet another conversation that pokes the norm, "Is Anger Always Negative?" But we start off the show (2:41) with Keri Hilson's "Knock You Down" and quickly catch up on how we navigated the week recapping Naomie's dad's (23:03) one year remembrance. Then Naomie poses the question of the week (33:12) which was quite peculiar to her friendship with Danny. She asks what kind of impact the podcast has had on the friendship, and the two go back and forth on this one. On Nana's Corner, (1:07:45) we discuss the latest in pop culture, the NAACP awards, SAG awards, Jessica Alba divorce, recent Hollywood deaths + MORE! In the main portion of the show, (1:26:39) we discuss navigating anger as an emotion as adults and everything in-between. We discuss extensively why anger gets bad PR even when it is only an emotion and an innate reaction just like happiness, as they are both triggered by an action or event. We ask, are men judged more harshly for expressing anger than women? We highlight moments in our lives where we've been angry, especially living in Nigeria and having to ply Lagos roads. We compare anger against feelings of sadness and ask whether one leads to another or if they are the same. We also provide some coping mechanisms for anger and navigating conflict resolution + MORE. We also recommend new movies and music (3:12:20) to close out the show. Enjoy this one! Song Intro: Keri Hilson Ft. Ne-yo and Kanye West - Knock You DownMid Episode Song: Fridayy Ft.

It's the final episode for the year y'all!!! We couldn't be more excited than to close out the year 2024 with the most anticipated movie of the quarter, Gladiator II directed by Ridley Scott. We start off the episode (2:41) in our crazy fashion with Eminem's "Till I Collapse" amid the warrior theme of the episode. We catch up for a bit and recap how we both spent Christmas (8:12) this past week, and then Naomie poses the question of the week (14:11), asking if we would have been warriors in the medieval era which somehow spirals into a conversation about modern day patriarchy. On the main portion of the show (32:15), we deep dive into the movie Gladiator II which tells the story of Maximus' lost son Hanno (Paul Mescal) who rather serendipitously becomes a captive of Roman conquest led by General Accacius (Pedro Pascal). Under the control of the gladiator mastermind Macrinus (Denzel Washington), Hanno would go on to win every fight in the Collesium and become his undisputed champion unbeknownst to him he was harboring a Roman princie a true heir to the throne. We provide our honest views on the movie, our favorite scenes and lines, probable award nominations, most impressive cast member, production, storytelling, life lessons drawn + MORE. Enjoy the show guys and see you in 2025! This week, your faves are back in the studio feeling Christmasyyyyy!!! We discussing our fondest memories of Christmas and what the season means to us now as adults compared when we were kids. However, we started off the episode (2:51) with chaos as always with Naomie refusing to do the intro! LOL! Then we catch up on how our weeks went and Naomie poses the question of the week asking the room what crime would we commit if we had a pass for a day, and we gave pretty interesting answers. On Nana's Corner, (28:12) we discuss Papoose and Remy's divorce drama as Naomie calls Papoose an unsuccessful rapper which gets Danny heated. We also discuss Cardi B and Offset text chain drama, and again Naomie says Cardi is not an A-list celebrity which sends Danny into another spiral! LOL! We also discuss Chance The Rapper's wife filing for a divorce, Jay-Z lawsuits update, Lil Wayne speaking to Kendrick ahead of the Superbowl + MORE. On the main segment (1:27:23) of the show, we discuss everything Christmas from our childhoods, how different we were both raised with Naomie being the bougie rich kid growing up versus Danny who grew up in the trenches. LOL! We found out how different we both experienced Christmas as kids in our households and how we relish those memories as adults today. We also discuss how we intend to replicate those memories for our kids when we get married. We discuss when Christmas stopped becoming fun for us, our thoughts on Detty December this year + MORE. Lastly (2:30:32), we close out with new music and movie recommendations this week. Enjoy the show, and do have yourself a Merry Christmas from us at The Spectrum Podcast! We love y'all!! This week, the gang is not alone! We've got amazing company in the studio. Our mutual friend Paul joins us this week to discuss Male Vulnerability. We start off the show (2:41) with Eminem's "Cleaning Out My Closet" following his mom's passing this past week. Then we caught up with our guest (6:32) and drilled him for the next ten minutes on why it took him 200+ episodes to feature on the pod. LOL! Danny and Naomie get into their back and forth (16:10) on yet another episode, leading Paul to believe he might be our relationship therapist. LOL! Then Naomie poses the Question of the Week (36:01) on what we would do if we all found out our mom wasn't our mom but our elder sister was, but both were dead. On Nana's Corner (56:03), we discuss Eminem's mom's passing, SZA & Kendrick's new tour announcement, Nick Cannon being diagnosed with narcissistic disorder, Martin Lawrence's daughter, Jasmin Lawrence, and Eddie Murphy's son, Eric Murphy getting married + MORE. On the show's main portion (1:21:43), we come in with Jack Harlow's new single "Hello Miss Johnson" leading us into revealing our Spotify Wrapped and Paul's miniscule YouTube Recap for 2024. LOL! On to the main discourse (1:49:11) of this week's episode, we break down the concept of "Male Vulnerability" and why the term exists in the social ecosystem. We poke at the phrase "men should cry and share more" and how there is not much of a safe space socially for men to express their emotions. We also share personal stories (2:20:08) from how as guys we share with our male/female friends vs relationship partners + MORE! An absolutely packed show for y'all! Enjoy this one. This week, your favorite duo is back in the studio with a short yet entertaining episode for y'all. We start off the show with Brandy and Monica's "Boy is Mine". We react to comic's set on dating single moms and dads in their 30s and having to deal with their kids. Naomie reveals how she instantly lost attraction for a man when she opened up to her about having a child. She also said she could never date a single dad unless his baby mom was dead. LOL! This opens up a whole new conversation on women hating on single dads and how that's a turn off because nobody wants to deal with baby mama drama. Danny says he couldn't father another man's child hence why he couldn't be with a single mom. An extremely controversial yet hilarious episode. Strap in for this one.

This week, your favorite duo is back in the studio this time on the movie review episode for October! But in our usual fashion, we start off on a chaotic note with Post Malone's Rockstar (2:25) as Danny flames Naomie for her off-the-pod rhetoric (4:05) on never making jokes about the dead. Of course, Danny rebutted. LMAOO!! This turns into another cacophony of arguments, back-and-forth, shade, tantrums, and just foolishness (13:06) for the next 35 minutes! LMAOO!! Oh, this episode was all over the place. An entire mess! LOL! Anyway, Danny finally posed the random question for the week (39:13) on friends we could rely on to pick up our calls during an emergency versus friends who would never. Then, on the episode's main segment starting off with Sade's (45:30) Smooth Operator, we break down the movie Wolfs, an action-comedy starring elites George Clooney and Brad Pitt. We highlight our favorite moments (50:12) from the movie, the level of dialogue, compare old Hollywood vs. new Hollywood stars and performances, and offer our honest (1:50:10) ratings. To close out, we recommend new music and movies (1:55:21) to look out for this week. Enjoy this amazing episode! Following our roll-out earlier in the week, the much anticipated 200th episode is here this week! Of courseeeee we started the show super excited bopping to the hit record "Like That" (2:45) reiterating to those who didn't we really like that!!! LOL! You know we always start off dramatic. We discuss the tragic passing of Liam Payne (12:02) from One Direction and how that made us feel this week. From then on, it's straight jibes, and YES, Danny is antagonizing Naomie again, and trust her not to hold her Scorpio tongue (16:15). Your favorite duo, ladies and gentlemen! LMAOOO! On the other side of the episode, we come in with Future and Drake's "Used To This" (1:06:21) stating how we are used to staying consistent over the last three years. This week, the gang returns with another banger! It's Dilemmas Week, y'all!!! On the show this week, we are reading your Dilemmas sent to us for October. Of course, we start off the episode on a problematic note with Burna Boy's Anybody (2:57) following his alleged abduction of Speed Darlington A.K.A Akpi into police custody. LMAOOO! After some quick banter, we delve into your dilemmas. Disclaimer, Danny is supporting bad behavior for every dilemma this week! LOL! First, we attend to a dilemma from Kachi who wants her ex back (16:35) after two years and sends the room into a frenzy as we have some interesting theories on fighting for an ex you still think you can bag. Anita is confused about cutting off an emotional friend (45:51) who she feels is trauma-dumping. Of course, Danny caught a stray! Then we attend to a dilemma from a Fejiro (1:16:40) who likes a coworker but is only attracted to thick and light-skinned women, of which she doesn't fit the mold. Of course, we roasted her! LMAOOO!! Naomie gets hit on (1:56:01) again, this time by a guy + MORE! Then we discuss new movies and music (2:09:10) as it's tradition to close out the show. Hold your ribs, we might crack em! On this Labor Day, we thought we'd treat you to an extra episode! We talk Venice Film Festival (is anyone else following the Don't Worry Darling drama?!), Oliver/Raquel/Samantha/Garcelle/LVP (it is a long weekend! Can we ever catch a break!?) and during our Southern Charm recap, we may go off tangent about delicious food items. Did you enjoy the Friendsgiving episode? Would you be mad if you were Paige and had to deal with this Naomie and Craig storyline? Did this make you yearn for fall (especially if you're a CA person in this heat wave)?! After 14 years, we finally got a fashion show with fashions! We are so happy that Sheree pulled it off! We loved how the women rallied around her, we only wish we could buy the fashions. In true Sheree “fashion” her website crashed due to the overwhelming response… seems as suspect as Tyrone showing up to the fashion show. We also got to see Ross teach Marlo's boys how to change a tire and meet her mother Emma. Mama Joyce has a few things to say about Kandi's trust and Kenya makes it big in CVS. Come judge with us! Emma and Isabel begin giving their immediate reactions to the Salt Lake City Season 3 trailer that dropped this week. They analyze some of the best lines, the 5 main cast members + 3 friends-of, the vibes they're getting of the dynamics, and what is (potentially) ahead for us. They also touch on Bethenny Frankel's epic (and polarizing) presence on TikTok. RHOA ~ 11:02 They then get into this week's episode of Atlanta, where Shereé continues to plan her fashion show (with MVP Rawan) and has a sit-down with APOLLO. They also debrief Kenya and Marlo/Sanya's dynamic and the shared birthday party. RHOBH ~ 20:00 Next is a pretty upsetting episode of Beverly Hills and the beginning of the infamous Aspen trip. They express their frustration with the group dynamic, lack of support for Sutton, and overall feelings towards Diana. Southern Charm ~ 35:00 Finally, Southern Charm, where they mainly focus on the confrontation between Naomie and Paige and how it maybe could have been handled differently. Season eight of Southern Charm premiered this week, and there's already so much drama out of the gate: did Naomie and Craig DO IT? Will Kathryn and Naomie mend fences? And what will happen to Shep and Craig? Looks like a fine mess to us!
