NOTÍCIAS 1 – Estamos entrando no último mês de 2023, já é clima natalino, e as plataformas de podcast começaram, na última semana, a disponibilizar o relatório anual de consumo de cada usuário. É nesse clima de calor intenso, mas com chuva, que a equipe do Castnews publicou lá no portal os rankings dos podcasts mais ouvidos no Spotify e no Apple Podcasts esse ano. Como já era de se esperar, as listas são diferentes, já que o perfil do ouvinte que ouve pelo Spotify é diferente daquele que ouve pelo Apple Podcasts. Você quer saber quais foram os podcasts mais ouvidos de 2023 e uma análise dos motivos pelos quais os rankings foram diferentes? Mas eu te adianto aqui que algumas diferenças de público são cruciais, como por exemplo que no Spotify os videocasts são mais populares, ou que o ouvinte do Apple Podcasts tende a ser mais engajado com a podosfera brasileira do que o do Spotify. Ano que vem a gente adiciona com certeza o YouTube Music nessa “corrida” e vê com qual das listas ele converge. 2 – Quem também publicou uma retrospectiva de final de ano foi o Pocket Casts, através do Playback 2023, que mostra pro usuário informações detalhadas sobre seu consumo de podcasts ao longo do ano. A retrospectiva destaca o podcast mais ouvido, o número total de episódios consumidos, os cinco principais podcasts, categorias mais ouvidas e muito mais.  Os assinantes do Pocket Casts Plus tem acesso a comparações com o ano anterior e também informações sobre a taxa de conclusão de episódios. Pros demais usuários, o relatório é só desse ano mesmo. AINDA EM NOTÍCIAS DA SEMANA: 3 – A PodcastOne anunciou a integração com o serviço de licenciamento de música da SourceAudio, o PodcastMusic.com, pros podcasters encontrarem músicas alinhadas com os seus conteúdos. O recurso criado com a integração é baseado em inteligência artificial, então o podcaster pode, por exemplo, pesquisar “música de introdução para programa de comédia” e a IA vai selecionar sons com base em programas do gênero, na demografia dos ouvintes e também em vários outros aspectos. O presidente e fundador da PodcastOne, Kit Gray, está bem otimista com a parceria, e diz que eles estão comprometidos em oferecer uma experiência incomparável no podcasting. 4 – A BBC Studios lançou o BBC Podcasts Premium, um serviço exclusivo para usuários do Apple Podcasts em 166 países, incluindo regiões na África, Ásia, Europa, Oriente Médio, América Latina e Caribe. O serviço oferece acesso antecipado e sem anúncios à maioria dos podcasts da BBC. Antes da expansão, a assinatura estava disponível nos Estados Unidos, Canadá, Austrália e Nova Zelândia. Por enquanto não temos a data do lançamento oficial aqui no Brasil, mas a gente especula que vai acontecer entre janeiro ou fevereiro de 2023. Quando a informação for confirmada, você ouve, é claro, primeiro aqui no Castnews. 5 – E ainda falando sobre assinaturas, a Blubrry lançou na última semana o Premium Podcasting, um serviço pago em que os criadores de conteúdo podem oferecer material exclusivo, lançamento antecipado de episódios e escuta sem anúncios aos seus assinantes. Os acessos serão controlados através de senhas. Os criadores podem definir os valores das assinaturas, mensais ou anuais, e também integrar o recurso com o Apple Podcasts para disponibilizar esse material em ambas as plataformas. O custo do serviço é de 10 dólares por mês por podcast, com a Blubrry cobrando uma taxa de 15% em cada assinatura. Meu amigo Todd Cochrane não dorme em serviço. E MAIS: 6 – A Realm anunciou uma parceria com a IGN para produzir podcasts baseados em videogames, com adaptações de títulos como High On Life, e também conteúdos originais. A colaboração envolve a produção de 2.500 horas de conteúdo da IGN, incluindo programas sem roteiro como Nintendo Voice Chat, Unlocked, Beyond e Game Scoop. As empresas também planejam lançar itens pra venda, mas os detalhes específicos desse acordo ainda não foram divulgados. A CEO da Realm, Molly Barton, se pronunciou dizendo que está bem ansiosa pela parceria, e destacou o potencial criativo e comercial dessa relação entre as duas empresas líderes no entretenimento e nos jogos. 7 – E pra quem tá no processo de criar um novo podcast mas tem dificuldade pra pensar em um nome pro programa, a Podpage lançou uma nova ferramenta gratuita para gerar nomes de podcasts. A ferramenta oferece opções criativas de nomes com base em informações fornecidas pelo usuário, como um resumo do podcast, o público-alvo, preferências por palavras-chave e exemplos de outros nomes de podcasts que são do mesmo segmento. Ao preencher esses detalhes, a IA gera dez opções de nomes, sendo cinco mais formais e cinco mais engraçadinhas. E dizem que funciona, viu? A equipe do Castnews já testou a ferramenta, e você também pode testar através da página oficial da Podpage. 8 – Mas se o que você precisa são dicas de produção, na última semana a equipe do Castnews fez uma curadoria das principais plataformas de hospedagem pro seu podcast. Então se você está no processo de escolher uma hospedagem, ou quer migrar o seu podcast de uma pra outra, não deixa de dar uma olhada lá no portal, que foram compilados os prós e os contras de várias das maiores empresas de hospedagem pra podcasts em 2023. HOJE NO GIRO SOBRE PESSOAS QUE FAZEM A MÍDIA:  9 – O MultiStudios, um estúdio de podcast feito de vidro no meio do Shopping ParkJacarepaguá no Rio de Janeiro, já acumulou mais de 80 episódios gravados em apenas um mês de atividades. O espaço chamou tanto a atenção de podcasters quanto do público do shopping, o que causou vários momentos de participações especiais de ouvintes durante as gravações. Além disso, segundo o Thiago Oliveira, responsável pelo estúdio, pra alguns dos podcasts gravados lá, a presença no estúdio aumentou o engajamento dos programas nas redes sociais. Foi o caso do podcast “Tudo Sobre Mim: A Mãe”, que aumentou o alcance de 1 milhão de views, pra mais de 4 milhões depois de gravar lá. 10 – No último sábado, foi encerrada oficialmente a pré-venda do livro Na Terra do Podcast, escrito pela radialista pernambucana Lina Fernandes. O livro é principalmente sobre entender o podcast como um modelo de negócio, mas também tem o passo a passo da monetização de um podcast. A data oficial de lançamento do livro é nessa próxima semana, quando todas as cópias vendidas também começam a ser enviadas à todos que compraram na pré-venda. 11 – E, ainda em clima de natal, se você conhece alguém que faz parte da nossa querida e grande podosfera brasileira, e quer dar um presente de natal pra essa pessoa, não deixa de dar uma olhada lá no portal do Castnews, que nessa última semana até dica de presentes (pra podcasters) a gente deu! SOBRE LANÇAMENTOS: 12 – Na última semana foram anunciadas as novas temporadas de dois podcasts do Canal Saúde, produzidos pela Fiocruz. A nova temporada do podcast Histórias da Saúde estreia hoje, segunda-feira, e os novos episódios do podcast Documentários do Canal Saúde – DoCS começam a ser lançados amanhã, com um episódio inédito por semana. O foco do Histórias nessa nova temporada é em personagens históricos que não são reconhecidos o suficiente, especialmente mulheres e homens negros na saúde e ciência. Enquanto isso, a segunda temporada do DoCS vai focar em temas de saúde mental. Ambas temporadas, com oito episódios cada, vão estar disponíveis no site do Canal Saúde e nas principais plataformas de áudio. 13 – E foi lançado o novo videocast “Dueto”, produzido pela empresa Due, falando sobre a comunicação no governo brasileiro. O primeiro episódio contou com a participação da Mariana Seixas, da Secretaria de Comunicação do Governo Federal, discutindo o papel da secretaria, diretrizes de cadastramento de veículos e metas do futuro. A primeira temporada do podcast, com o tema “Mulheres Líderes”, vai incluir mais papos com mulheres que trabalham nos setores de comunicação do governo. Os episódios ficam disponíveis no YouTube do Dueto e também no Spotify. RECOMENDAÇÃO NACIONAL:  14 – E na nossa recomendação nacional da semana, o programa indicado veio diretamente da minha coluna no portal do Castnews, que se chama Ouve Esse Aqui. Dessa vez eu recomendei um programa gravado em vídeo – mas que tem uma proposta que funciona muito bem como podcast 100% em áudio. Eu tô falando do NizoLógico, apresentado pelo meu amigo Nizo Neto, que é um comunicador excepcional. Nizo Neto que é um dos filhos do Chico Anysio, ator, radialista, ilusionista, comediante, uma das vozes mais conhecidas da dublagem brasileira, portanto um comunicador excepcional. Eu adoro ouvir o Nizo falando, o podcast tá na minha lista de preferidos do momento, porque é muito bom tanto ver, quanto ouvir o Nizo conversar, seja com outros dubladores, com humoristas, cantores… Enfim. O papo é sempre muito rico, muito solto e gostoso de acompanhar. Como o Nizo fala: “Aqui o bicho fica solto!” então é muito legal. Se você abrir uma cervejinha (ou a bebidinha aí da sua preferência) e colocar pra tocar, é quase a mesma coisa que sentar numa mesa de bar com seus amigos do coração e trocar uma ideia muito bacana.
