Daniel Maigler is the mental health advisor for Paws for Patrick, a non profit that connects young people with mental health issues to emotional support animals. Host of the mental health podcast Not Allowed to Die, school social worker, therapist in private practice and a proud husband, and father to two boys and Mariska the three toothed Patterdale Terrier. For a therapist losing a client to suicide is the worst case scenario. For me that loss was compounded by the loss of my nephew to suicide a year later. I was given the opportunity to turn my pain into healing for myself and others when I was asked to become the mental health advisor for Paws for Patrick by Patrick's family. In addition, I help pull back the curtain on how mental health treatment works on my podcast Not Allowed to Die where I share dilemmas I'm seeing in my practice as a school social worker and therapist and interview guests who have a unique take on mental health. Since 1999 I have worked with over 1000 teens with mental health issues in a variety of settings from hospitals to groups homes as well as schools where I have been a social worker and guidance counselor. I was also the lead presenter for Up2US: QSI which gave actionable steps of how to get men to be more involved in standing up against intimate partner violence and sexual assault. In addition, I spent 15 years as a high school lacrosse coach. I am delighted to talk about any topic related to mental health and male socialization.www.pawsforpatrick.org

Meet Patrick Daniel is the author of 'Finding Your Road to Success - How to get there without getting lost', a self-help motivational and inspirational book aimed at shattering the notion that success is a myth. Patrick became something close to independently wealthy by the tender age of 30. But what is even more admirable about Patrick is that he realized at a young age that true success is achieving goals that are more than monetary. As a successful chartered accountant and owner of his own accounting company, the author's credentials are unquestionably well suited for this book. 'Finding Your Road to Success' is a must-read for anyone who needs a shot of optimism. "Life is filled with solutions, not problems" is at the core of Patrick's "glass half-full" attitude, and you'll find this attitude with every turn of the page. www.findingyourroadtosuccess.com

Rome, Italy’s capital, is a sprawling, cosmopolitan city with nearly 3,000 years of globally influential art, architecture and culture on display. The Pantheon is the best-preserved building from ancient Rome. Its magnificent dome is a lasting testimony to the genius of Roman architects. Today, the tangle of streets and alleys in this compact area is filled with Baroque palaces and churches, small shops and picturesque alfresco cafés. This is a happening place with delicious Italian cuisines like pizza, pasta, and gelato. — Patrick Daniel | https://twitter.com/wisehypocrite | https://www.instagram.com/wisehypocrite

US bzw.

In this episode, Reesh answers a call-in question from Patrick Daniel of the popular podcast "The Great Everything," regarding an example of rap lyrics that look like bullsh*t on paper but come to life in their delivery. In an attempt to keep the Medicine alive on the show, Reesh responds by drawing an analogy comparing the "central dogma of rap" to the "central dogma of biology." Prepare for a wild ride!
