It's been a minute, but... WE'RE BACK BABY! First and foremost, I'm so sorry for the 3 year long hiatus. Lots of life has happened, and lots of changes have been made. The podcast has always been something I wanted to get back to, and I'm pumped to say the day has finally come! For our first episode back, we take some time to get to know Coach Nas (Noss) from his childhood, how he got into fitness, and his future life plans/goals. Nas has been with us for about a year and a half. He started as a member who was interested in interning. He quickly became one of the most well-known hype men at the gym! Nas brings incredible energy to every single class he's apart of, and has been a big part of what we're building at Vigor. He's had a huge impact in his short time with us, and there is no doubt that he will be missed! He just graduated college from Mizzou this May, and this is his last week coaching at Vigor until he moves back home to Chicago to start the next chapter of his life story. We're definitely going to miss the energy this dude brings to the Vigor Fam, but we're so proud of everything he's accomplished and for the great things we know he will continue to do in the world! You can find Nas on TikTok (@cutupnas) and Instagram (@Nasirlatham and @cutupnas)
Firstly, and most importantly: WELCOME BACK NEEDLES!Yes, the President of The Squinters, the Renaissance Man, the trackside oracle, returns to his dodgy mic after attending the Golden Egg with fellow OG Bartman to deliver high-quality uninformed opinions and insights you can only get on this golden piece of podcasting mastery. And what a game to return for.The Giants, with half the list held together by duct tape, fuelled by youthful zest and the faint smell of September, have knocked off the ladder-leading Dockers and ended their 14-game winning streak. The Package delivered a career-high seven. Toby did Toby things. The young'uns stood up. Callaghan worked. Idun marked everything. Whitfield was brilliant before getting concussed. And somehow, against a very legit football team, the Orange Tsunami emerged from Burley Griffin. Maybe it was the polite Canberra crowd. We love you Canberra. There is so much to discuss: the pressure, the clearance dominance, the defensive grit, the forward-line chaos — did we mention we had no key forward? Cads and Package 4LyfeAnd of course, it's July, so throw the house on a win over the Cats this weekend (no, chances are you're about to lose), or at least get there to watch a quality game... CAUSE WE'RE BACK BABY!!!Clear the diary for September, because who knows?Whenever there's a sniff, we'll Never Surrender.----To get in contact, drop us an email, comment on Spotify or message us on X.We love reviews or ratings.Email: thesquinterspodcast@gmail.comSupport: buymeacoffee.com/thesquintersYouTube: NeverSurrenderByTheSquintersX: TheSquintersInstagram: gws_squintersFB: thesquintersTikTok: the.squinters

Guess who's back?!We're back and what better way to remind you how it all began with a little game called...That's Lockdown! But that's not all, in this fraught age of cancellation and condemnation we have to decide who we stand with; Kanye West? Send us a textEver tried to fit a gigantic cabinet into a tiny car? We sure did, and the hilarity that ensued was nothing short of a sitcom episode. Our latest catch-up dives into the chaos of selling furniture amidst rain and nosey buyers, all while trying to juggle full-time work routines. And that's just the beginning of our comical escapades as we re-enter the podcasting world with tales of teamwork, unexpected challenges, and letting go of old routines. Then we hit the concert scene with tales that will have you laughing out loud. Imagine attending a Nicki Minaj or Megan Thee Stallion concert only to witness aisle mishaps that rival the performance itself. We've got quirky tales about concert sound issues, unexpected public intoxication, and, of course, our undying love for stadium hot dogs. Plus, bumping into Phaedra Parks at a drag brunch added a fabulous touch to our celebrity encounter tales—dirty wine glasses and all!Our conversation also veers into the vibrant worlds of reality TV, viral TikToks, and peculiar celebrity fashion choices. From critiquing the latest in entertainment trends to sharing a personal story about fast food shenanigans and amusement park rides, we cover it all. As always, we bring our signature chaotic charm to the table, ensuring that you're entertained and maybe even a little bit enlightened as we explore the randomness that life throws our way. We couldn't end the year without a Christmas [kinda] episode. In this episode, we say our hellos and our gratitudes with Marlboro reds in hand for the show putting out an episode, but we jump straight into it like we never left. Some fast food trends change for the better, but unfortunately, some fast food trends have society in a chokehold and we cant figure it out.$15 for Trump supported (probably) BBQ is waaaay too much. Especially for the quality. Redneck Christmas gift buying and Starbucks ordering are very similar in the onset embarrassment that comes from interacting with customer service clerks and requesting certain things. We're still spending money on things that are overpriced. The latter part of the episode we discuss Christmas traditions we'd like to see change or things that would enhance current traditions. And let me just tell you that there were some great ideas in this segment.Let us know what you think! A demon who happens to know all of the CIA secrets that no one could possibly know.Britt then tells some stories that will make you never want to look in the mirror again.
