Today we are chatting about a simple piece of Christian theology that I see many believers getting wrong right now in the online space. Listen to this short but power packed and scripture backed episode to help you see God's true role (and what He isn't behind) when it comes to terrible things happening in the USA and worldwide right now in these end times.Resource mentioned: How do you reconcile God's promise of long life with Charlie Kirk, martyrdom & tragedy? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fog63y2Lcx0&t=7286s (teaching starts about 22 minutes into video)Connect with Nyla:IGWebsiteNyla's second podcast, On the Job with God Christian Business Podcast
Harrison Ford. Whoopi Goldberg. Julian Lennon. Paul McCartney. Robin Williams. Beyoncé. Miley Cyrus. Chris Hemsworth. The names may draw you into this conversation—but they aren't what you'll remember most. For more than four decades, legendary photographer Timothy White has captured some of the world's most recognizable faces. In one of his most personal interviews, he takes us behind the images, sharing untold stories about photographing icons, buying an entire town, uncovering hidden chapters of his family history, and navigating lifelong friendships, trust, heartbreak, and reinvention. What begins as a journey through fame becomes something far more human: a conversation about seeing beyond the image, remaining curious, and discovering hope in whatever comes next. This isn't really an episode about celebrities. It's about the person beneath the picture—and the life still waiting beyond it.Connect with Timothy at:www.TimothyWhite.com@TimothyWhite

As world events seem to accelerate at an unprecedented pace, how should thoughtful Christians interpret the headlines without becoming consumed by fear? In this episode of The Kubik Report, Victor Kubik welcomes longtime friend, author, and geopolitical analyst Mike Snyder to discuss his thought-provoking article, "The Calm Before the Storm." Drawing on decades of observing international affairs, Mike explains why today's global environment may appear relatively stable on the surface while profound geopolitical shifts are taking place beneath it. Together, Victor and Mike examine the changing relationship between the United States and Europe following the recent NATO summit, the ongoing war in Ukraine, the resilience of Russia despite staggering losses, and the unpredictable consequences of conflict in the Middle East. The conversation also explores why so many Americans feel increasing uncertainty about the nation's future during the country's 250th anniversary year. Mike offers historical perspective while emphasizing that today's challenges are part of larger trends that Scripture anticipated centuries ago. Rather than promoting sensationalism or alarmism, this discussion continually returns to biblical prophecy—especially the book of Daniel—and the assurance that God remains sovereign over the affairs of nations. Victor highlights how prophecy should inspire confidence rather than panic, reminding listeners that history is moving toward God's Kingdom according to His purpose. This is an insightful conversation for anyone seeking to understand today's headlines through a biblical lens while maintaining hope, discernment, and spiritual balance. It is a timely reminder that although the world may appear increasingly uncertain, God's plan remains firmly on course. See Mike Snyder's blog: www.seekingtheway.net

In this episode, Aaron goes bi(sesquicentennial) in DC. Hear his drama about getting there, his reactions to speaking with our Government leaders, the big event (with a certain headline speaker) by the White House, and the secrets of the Senate cafeteria and the secret underground train. There's a big surprise plus... Believe it or not, hope is found.
Most of us grip tighter when life feels uncertain. We work harder, plan more, and try to control everything within reach. This week I'm joined by Bron Watson, a nurse, educator, and entrepreneur who built a thriving coaching business while a quiet voice kept telling her something wasn't right. She ignored it until a breast cancer diagnosis in 2017 changed everything. Five years later, a second diagnosis followed: an incurable blood cancer. In this conversation, Bron and I talk about what it costs to override your own intuition, and what it actually means to control the controllables when nothing feels controllable at all. We get into her "saber-tooth tiger" business model, the moment she shut her mastermind down overnight, and why she now believes everyone can heal, even when not everyone gets a cure. If you've ever pushed through something your gut told you to stop and look at, pop in those earphones. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN How Bron's "saber-tooth tiger" model fed off her own energy until she couldn't safely get off Why "just let it go" can feel dismissive — and what Bron does instead when emotion hits How Bron's husband uses "the pause" to create space before reacting What it means to be the CEO of your own "executive committee," and who actually belongs on it Why Bron wants the word "cure" dropped from how we talk about cancer altogether How a roadmap, not a fixed plan, helped Bron navigate setbacks without losing direction RESOURCES MENTIONED The Serenity Prayer (referenced by Bron throughout the episode) Bron's upcoming book, Be Where Your Feet Are BRON'S INVITATION TO GAME ON GIRLFRIEND® LISTENERS If you know someone navigating a cancer diagnosis, Bron invites you to sign up for The Serenity Project newsletter. With decades of experience as a registered nurse and educator, she's spent her career drawn to spaces where care, communication, and connection matter most. She founded her first business in 2012, helping business owners share their voice online with authenticity and purpose. Over the past decade, her work through The Social Coach has supported thousands of people to show up in life and business with intention. Bron's journey shifted in 2017 with a breast cancer diagnosis, and again in 2023 with a second diagnosis: an incurable blood cancer. These experiences shaped her belief that healing reaches far beyond the physical. It's emotional, spiritual, and entirely personal. So she created The Serenity Project, a space where science meets soul, alongside her continued work with The Social Coach. Today on Uncommon Sense, we're discussing the tragic state of the modern world. From the protests in Ireland to growing frustration across Western nations, many people feel as though their voices are no longer being heard by the institutions that claim to represent them. I'll share why I support the right of people to protest and why I believe the demonstrations in Ireland have resonated with so many people around the world. We'll also discuss what I see as a deeper spiritual crisis affecting modern society. Many of the political, cultural, and social problems we face today are symptoms of a broader moral and spiritual decline, one that cannot be solved through politics alone. In this episode:My thoughts on the protests in IrelandWhy so many citizens now feel disconnected from their governmentsThe growing divide between ordinary people and powerful institutionsThe role of faith, morality, and personal responsibility in rebuilding societyWhy I believe many of today's crises point to a deeper spiritual battleWhether you agree or disagree, this episode is an invitation to think critically about the direction of our culture, our governments, and our future.--https://www.youversion.com/bible-app

[From 4/22/25] Mary welcomes back Stand Up favorite Gary Kah to talk about ongoing world events in this first half of 2025. More importantly, are we praying and taking these events to the Lord, knowing He has it all in hand and yet understanding how important intercession is to protect and defend what we have been given? With this unique perspective, we look at both domestic and foreign issues, such as the US economy, Europe, Israel and much more. We often look at prophecy and ask “how late is it?” – but to God, Who is outside of time, the hour isn’t as important as seeking His face, His will, His direction. Gary has been warning us about globalism way before anyone else, and while the wheels grind rather slowly in our lifetimes, here we are and still observing the push-and-pull between nationalism and globalism – and knowing that The Restrainer is at work until such a time that the scales tip toward the kingdom of Antichrist. There are elements of End Times prophecy that are very clear, but as Pastor Ken will point out in today's message, many elements leave some room for interpretation. These prophets lived thousands of years before the first gun was invented. The aircraft and missiles we find commonplace today would have been completely foreign and fantastical, and their descriptions reflect this. With awareness of the modern battlefield technology and tactics, these elements no longer seem so mysterious.
The situation in the Middle East is complicated. But ultimately, based on Scripture, we understand that Israel has taken possession of the land of God's promise. Prophecy foretells that Israel will be involved in war and will take possession of even more land as the end approaches. As Pastor Ken will remind us in today's message, we need to approach current events through the lens of Scripture, allowing the Holy Spirit to provide discernment as we seek to understand what's happening.
It's impossible to ignore what's been happening in the Middle East lately. Wars and rumors of wars, with acts of aggression from multiple angles focused on Israel, and with Israel dishing it out on their neighbors as well. As Pastor Ken will warn in today's message, we shouldn't ignore these events. We can't know how long it will be, but the world is ripe for the fulfillment of the prophecy referenced multiple times in Scripture. We have no reason to fear if we're in Christ, who will not allow His Church to suffer.
