Today on Uncommon Sense, we're discussing the tragic state of the modern world. From the protests in Ireland to growing frustration across Western nations, many people feel as though their voices are no longer being heard by the institutions that claim to represent them. I'll share why I support the right of people to protest and why I believe the demonstrations in Ireland have resonated with so many people around the world. We'll also discuss what I see as a deeper spiritual crisis affecting modern society. Many of the political, cultural, and social problems we face today are symptoms of a broader moral and spiritual decline, one that cannot be solved through politics alone. In this episode:My thoughts on the protests in IrelandWhy so many citizens now feel disconnected from their governmentsThe growing divide between ordinary people and powerful institutionsThe role of faith, morality, and personal responsibility in rebuilding societyWhy I believe many of today's crises point to a deeper spiritual battleWhether you agree or disagree, this episode is an invitation to think critically about the direction of our culture, our governments, and our future.--https://www.youversion.com/bible-app

[From 4/22/25] Mary welcomes back Stand Up favorite Gary Kah to talk about ongoing world events in this first half of 2025. More importantly, are we praying and taking these events to the Lord, knowing He has it all in hand and yet understanding how important intercession is to protect and defend what we have been given? With this unique perspective, we look at both domestic and foreign issues, such as the US economy, Europe, Israel and much more. We often look at prophecy and ask “how late is it?” – but to God, Who is outside of time, the hour isn’t as important as seeking His face, His will, His direction. Gary has been warning us about globalism way before anyone else, and while the wheels grind rather slowly in our lifetimes, here we are and still observing the push-and-pull between nationalism and globalism – and knowing that The Restrainer is at work until such a time that the scales tip toward the kingdom of Antichrist. Supporters say these markets reveal valuable information more quickly than polls or experts can. There are elements of End Times prophecy that are very clear, but as Pastor Ken will point out in today's message, many elements leave some room for interpretation. These prophets lived thousands of years before the first gun was invented. The aircraft and missiles we find commonplace today would have been completely foreign and fantastical, and their descriptions reflect this. With awareness of the modern battlefield technology and tactics, these elements no longer seem so mysterious.
The situation in the Middle East is complicated. But ultimately, based on Scripture, we understand that Israel has taken possession of the land of God's promise. Prophecy foretells that Israel will be involved in war and will take possession of even more land as the end approaches. As Pastor Ken will remind us in today's message, we need to approach current events through the lens of Scripture, allowing the Holy Spirit to provide discernment as we seek to understand what's happening.
It's impossible to ignore what's been happening in the Middle East lately. Wars and rumors of wars, with acts of aggression from multiple angles focused on Israel, and with Israel dishing it out on their neighbors as well. As Pastor Ken will warn in today's message, we shouldn't ignore these events. We can't know how long it will be, but the world is ripe for the fulfillment of the prophecy referenced multiple times in Scripture. We have no reason to fear if we're in Christ, who will not allow His Church to suffer.

Tonight's conversation goes deeper than headlines. We're joined by Maze Love to break down the latest on the Iran conflict, the evolving relationship between the United States and Israel, and the growing divide inside the Republican Party. But this discussion doesn't stop at surface-level politics. We get into the bigger question that more people are starting to ask, are these events unfolding organically, or is there a larger system at play behind the scenes? From shifting alliances to political narratives, we explore whether the lines between left and right are as real as they seem, and where figures like Donald Trump fit into the broader global picture. Maze brings her perspective from years of analyzing world events in real time, and together we dig into power, influence, and the possibility that what we're seeing may be more coordinated than we're told. If you've been questioning what's really driving global events, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.Check out our merch storeFollow Maze Love

This week on Inside the Economy, we explore the economic impact from the current world events, safe haven status, and cost of energy. Inflation has cooled and is now stabilizing around 3%, but that remains above the Federal Reserve's usual 2% target. This raises the question of whether consumers will begin to see meaningful relief in prices ahead. Over the past 80 years, gasoline and other energy goods have become a smaller share of U.S. consumer spending, yet they remain highly volatile. If the volatility persists, could the impact stay contained or could it begin to pressure broader household budgets? Global primary energy consumption is broadly diversified across sources, yet one category continues to gain share and stand out from the rest - so what is driving this shift, and what may it indicate for markets and the economy ahead? The S&P 500 has recently fallen below its 200-day moving average, a key technical support level, raising an important question: is this simply a short-term, headline-driven pullback, or possibly an early signal of a more sustained shift in market direction? Tune in to learn more! Key Takeaways: • 30-year mortgage rates rose to 6.38% • Unemployment rate remained at 4.4% • Crude Oil at $101.00 a barrel

In this explosive and deeply patriotic episode, Sheila Holm joins Juan O Savin with Michael Jaco to break down the world events shaking nations, the truth behind election fraud, the bond fraud scandal threatening to blow the lid off decades of corruption, and the reckoning many believe is still ahead for those who betrayed the American people. This is a bold conversation about the fight for the soul of America — a battle between truth and deception, freedom and control, justice and corruption. Together, they dive into the forces driving global chaos, the manipulation of elections, the financial fraud buried inside the system, and the growing sense that the old power structure is beginning to crack under the weight of its own lies. They explore the deeper struggle now unfolding across America and the world, where patriots have refused to give up on the country, refused to bow to fear, and refused to stop asking the hard questions. From election integrity and financial crimes to global instability and the possibility of coming arrests, this episode speaks directly to those who know this nation was founded for more — and who believe the truth is finally rising to the surface. If you've felt that America is in the middle of a historic turning point, this conversation will light a fire. The corruption runs deep, the stakes are enormous, and the battle for justice, sovereignty, and the future of the republic is far from over. This is a powerful episode for those who still believe in faith, freedom, accountability, and the enduring spirit of the American people.
