Leroy BIG Johnson has fought for several promotions including Bellator, PFL, and WXC. Being that he just happens to be The Pirate Chef's Brother-In-Law, the two of them have some stories between them that TPC was DYING to tell on the podcast. Andrea Berger is three-time WMX champion, Torey Matajcich is three-time Woman's WORCS champion, and Hannah Hart is two-time WXC champion. We invited them for a special Women champions episode. These ladies are making a huge statement in the industry about women in professional sports. During their episode the champions discussed some exciting news coming from the west and the advancements in the sport. They talked about working together, how to promote their individual disciplines, and they went into detail on their personal achievements in the sport. The off-season allows Jason Weigandt to find the good stories you haven't heard, including Becca Sheets' rise to the top of the Grand National Cross Country Series' WXC division. Raised as a motocross racer, Sheets' eventual move to the woods resulted in three titles, including a hard-fought 2021 battle with fellow Yamaha rider Rachel Archer. Sheets held on despite brutal conditions at the Yamaha Ironman GNCC finale. Her bike even drowned out during the race, but she wrung out the air filter, got it running, and earned enough points to defend her crown. Now she will step away from the stresses of racing, announcing this season will be her last. Her story from motocross to the ISDE and GNCC is a good one. Weigandt also checks in with up-and-coming GNCC ATV racer Hunter Hart, who earned second in this year's standings to GNCC National Champion Walker Fowler. Hart explains how ATV riders find their own sponsors and deals to earn a living as racers. He even got a discount card from Outback Steakhouse! Today have we again to guest a former and soon to be again champion MMA fighter Willis 'Silverback' Black. He was already in an episode and has shortly after his championship title lost. We have with that of course nothing to do and who says we are schuld on that is a dirty liar! :) We most certainly did not get paid millions of dollars to derail his carrer via infecting him with our terrible karma! But none of that matters because Willis is back!! He had to take some time off to have his shoulder operated on and to get some personal affairs in order, all that in the times of covid mind you, and is now determined to get back into championship shape. The recovery for his shoulder is long complete and he's been training to come back to hit harder than ever as soon as his management can find someone crazy enough to get into a cage with him. We talk to Willis about his time off, his plans for his future in the UFC and everything in between.

Having only lost once in her MMA career, Calie Cutler made an impressive pro debut, getting the submission over Brittany Dugas this past May. Cutler will fight for WXC in her home state of Michigan against pro boxer turned MMA fighter Lindsay Garbatt.We will talk to Cutler about preparing for the foght and her recent signing to the XFC.
