Halo Infinite MP has been out a week, and I have some thoughts. Meanwhile that rumored WarnerBros Smash clone is real, and its spectacular. The external pressure on Activision is growing, and internal pressure isn't simmering down either. Meanwhile Lucasfilm is setting its sights on the future of the franchise, and TV seems to be the path. The MCU is setting up multiple secret projects, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a sequel worth your time.
This episode Adam has a secret agenda and forces Michael to cover a Call of Duty. They talk about the casual gaming aspect of the game, the try-hard competitive mentality, the battle royale format, and the children of Call of Duty. Oh, the children. With their open mics. Link To Article: https://bit.ly/3GmHtaAEven If Ricochet Helps Stop Hackers 1% More Im Happy!Amidst numerous lawsuits claiming the company fostered an abuse-filled working environment, Activision Blizzard is getting serious about Call of Duty: Warzone cheaters with the introduction of its new, proprietary Ricochet Anti-Cheat system.“[Ricochet] is a multi-faceted approach to combat cheating, featuring new server-side tools which monitor analytics to identify cheating, enhanced investigation processes to stamp out cheaters, updates to strengthen account security, and more,” the announcement reads, adding that these PC improvements will be coupled with a kernel-level driver. “This driver will assist in the identification of cheaters, reinforcing and strengthening the overall server security.”The term “kernel-level” probably sent shivers down your spine if you know anything about PC security. Applications with kernel-level permissions can access just about every nook and cranny of your computer, which means it's typically reserved for programs you absolutely trust. The fact that Activision Blizzard is claiming this is the only way to curb modern cheating software shows just how big and sophisticated of a problem cheats have become for Call of Duty: Warzone players.Support the show (https://bit.ly/2XdAlJC)

Your letters look at getting back into FM if you've been away a few years and the “joys” of playing with friends online, which for some (Iain) means using the Russian military art of deception known as Maskirovka... And in this week's What Else Do You Play, JJ Bull takes us through Call Of Duty: Warzone.

This week, the editorial team at AI Business looks at the latest developments in video games – which are making more money than movies and music combined, but remain something of a second-class citizen of the entertainment industry. Machine learning is coming to video games, and while this brings plenty of positive developments, we are going to discuss something unpleasant: the treat it poses to competitive online multiplayer. With computer vision tools now easily accessible, a new generation of cheating techniques is ruining games while remaining virtually undetectable by common anti-cheat software, because computer vision doesn't need to need mess with game files – all you need is the video output. This is especially damaging for popular games like Call of Duty: Warzone or Fortnite, where aiming skills and fast reflexes often mean the difference between victory and defeat. Look out for Ben's feature on the topic later this week! We also cover: Battlefield 2042! Unintended consequences of progress! Teenage angst! Naughty Dog teased that they were working on a stand-alone multiplayer game based on The Last of Us back when The Last of Us 2 was nearing release, but we've yet to see anything about it since despite a prime opportunity passing with the PlayStation September 2021 Showcase. Has the game been swept under the rug or put on pause to focus elsewhere, faced development issues, or is it building to try and be Sony's biggest competition in the multiplayer space they've stated interest in getting into? Can their biggest IP go toe to toe against the sea of Games as a Service titles like Apex and Call of Duty: Warzone, or would it be more of a 6 month to a year flash in the pan? Raven Software has announced that it has rolled out another mass banning wave across Call of Duty: Warzone. The studio says that its latest attempt to combat cheaters in the game has resulted in the removal of over 100,000 accounts in a single day. Confirming the news on Twitter, the studio says that it has removed over 100,000 accounts, specifically targeting "repeat offenders and cheat providers at the source". Kim has all that in your Daily Fix!
Call of Duty Vanguard and Call of Duty Warzone will be getting an Anti Cheat update. And the Call of Duty Vanguard game will run on the Call of duty Warzone engine. Quake Remastered has arrived as a surprise launch on all platforms. Call of Duty Vanguard news arrived about how it will be in the Call of Duty Warzone engine. Also Call of Duty cheats and Call of Duty cheaters may be in for a world of hurt when the Call of Duty Vanguard anticheat and the Call of Duty Warzone anticheat arrives. Call of Duty Vanguard reveal event took place in a Call of Duty Warzone event live in the game. The Call of Duty Warzone train fight was dope and the Call of Duty Vanguard trailer revealed the launch date and story elements. Quake Remastered or a Quake Remaster released as a surprise. It is basically a Quake enhanced version of the game with better visuals, textures, and resolution on next gen consoles.
Call of Duty Vanguard Reveal Event will be happening inside a Call of Duty Warzone reveal this week. A Cyberpunk 2077 update is coming that will fix a variety of issues. Steam and Microsoft could end up working together due to Phil Spencer's recent commentary and visit with Valve. The Call of Duty Vanguard release date is still unknown, but a Call of Duty Vanguard reveal will take place this week. The Call of Duty Warzone reveal will be later this week inside the game. COD Warzone looks to be the center of the reveal for COD 2021. Many are thinking that Call of Duty 2021 will hopefully add Call of Duty anticheat. A Cyberpunk 2077 patch is on the horizon that will fix issues with the hud, GPS, map, and skill point resets. The Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.3 does not have a release date yet. Phil Spencer recently paid a visit to valve and had high praise for the Steam Deck xCloud compatibility for both Halo and Age of Empires.

Battlefield 6 Technical Test New Details about Battlefield 2042 as well as the Battlefield 6 anticheat. A Call of Duty anticheat update is apparently coming with the Call of Duty Vanguard release and will also land in Call of Duty Warzone. A Splitgate Switch and Splitgate mobile version will eventually become a reality according to the devs. The Battlefield 6 beta is live and new info about anticheat has been revealed. Those with access to the Battlefield 2042 technical playtest are already showing screenshots and Battlefield 6 beta gameplay leaks. Call of Duty cheats and Call of Duty cheaters continue to hurt the game, but Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Vanguard is apparently going to be getting an updated Call of Duty anticheat. Splitgate mobile and Splitgate Nintendo Switch versions are on the way according to the devs. With Splitgate servers finally stable and the official Splitgate release date still in the distance, the game developers have big plans to expand.
A Fortnite Leak about an RPG Open World game mode has many fans speculating. A Splitgate next gen update is on the way but was put on hold due to the Splitgate server queue issues. And a Call of Duty leak about the 2021 Vanguard reveal date has been found. Fortnite news is typically centering around things like the Fortnite Superman challenges or the Fortnite Ariana Grande event. But a recent Fortnite leak about a possible Fortnite Open World RPG mode has many fans curious and excited. Splitgate tips and tricks continue to pour in as the Splitgate servers stabilize. It became recently known that a Splitgate PS5 update and a Splitgate Xbox Series X update is ready, but was put on hold due to the server queue challenges. Call of Duty Warzone continues to lose players due to Call of Duty cheats and Call of Duty cheaters. But a Call of Duty Vanguard reveal is apparently right around the corner according to a Call of Duty leaker.
The rise in Call of Duty Cheaters has lead to an Apex Legends Season 10 players increase. Even big streamers like CourageJD, NickMercs, and Dr Disrespect are leaving COD for Apex. Respawn also indicated that there would be an Apex Legends Seer nerf in their next update. Lastly, Splitgate server queue times are way down after some helpful Splitgate updates from the developer. Call of Duty cheats continues to be a problem that plagues Call of Duty Warzone. Even with an Activision lawsuit to take down another cheat company, it seems to be a growing struggle. With big Call of Duty streamers abandoning the game, and Call of Duty seeing a 370,000 player loss already for August, this could be the beginning of a decline for the franchise. Apex Legends Season 10, however, has seen a 6% gain on just the Steam charts alone in the last 30 days. Apex Legends Seer is the cause of some concern with his abilities and power, leading the devs to indicate that a Seer nerf was on the way with the next Apex Legends update. Splitgate servers are getting a well deserved increase which has seen the Splitgate server queues drastically reduced. With Splitgate console gameplay still in beta and the Splitgate crossplay beta causing problems, it is good to see these updates. The Splitgate delay caused many to worry about the actual Splitgate release date, but these updates show great promise.
On this episode of Attack the Backlog, Marc jumps, falls, and shoots their way through the streets of Call of Duty: Warzone, Activision's free-to-play, second (and successful) attempt at making a battle royale game set in the Call of Duty universe. Call of Duty: Warzone originally came out on March 10th, 2020 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Anyway, something-something, I feel a bit icky, but I finished this episode months ago and thus it be sticking, cheers and enjoy the...wait for it...show!
In This Episode…I guess we need a new pandemic? There is a lot going on over at Blizzard/Activision and we have to wonder if it is effecting Call of Duty Warzone. Hackers. Low content flow. Hackers. Who picks up the pieces? Well, that's what we want to talk about this week on the Free Play Podcast.

Multiplayer games like Call of Duty: Warzone are blatant propaganda, but it feels like there are ways to play them "critically," reaping the positive social and collaborative benefits while supposedly filtering out the ideological effects. However, these games are designed to operate beyond the explicit and rational, and the more you play, and the more deliberately you marshal your psychic defenses, the more susceptible you risk becoming to these other persuasive mechanisms. Battlefield 6 New Details have emerged about crossplay and what it will do between console generations. Activision has shutdown a machine learning cheat for Call of Duty that was in development. And Halo Infinite news shows a fan favorite feature returning according to 343 Interactive. The Battlefield 2042 gameplay trailer promised a lot of action and big battles, but recent news about cross play has some fans concerned. Even the Battlefield 6 leaks have shown that the game will attempt to bring new but also classic maps and modes. Call of Duty cheats continue to be a major problem for the franchise, but Activision took strong action this week to shut one down. Call of Duty Warzone cheats are some of the most popular and has lead to over 500,000 accounts being banned. The Halo Infinite multiplayer overview spurred on a lot of discussion about how the game will appeal to both old and new fans. 343 Industries revealed a fan favorite feature will land that was not included in the Halo Infinite multiplayer trailer or the Halo Infinite E3 2021 reveal. In today's episode, Phil Spencer throws some praise Sony's way by admitting Xbox was a little impressed with the PS5 DualSense controller. So impressed, in fact, that they asked some of their users in a survey if adaptive triggers was something they'd like to see in a future Xbox controller. So who knows? Maybe an Xbox Elite V3 controller could feature adaptive triggers, or motion control, or a speaker, or anything else! Personally, we'd like to see Sony take a page from Microsoft's playbook and let us customize the colors on our PS5 controllers. Please and thank you. In other news, the maker of an "undetectable" hack for Call of Duty: Warzone is complying with a request from Activision to take it down. The hack maker admitted that their goal was to make no game on console safe from hacking. For those trying to get some honest kills in Warzone, this is a victory. Let's hope this hacker turns his skills into something more helpful, like finding a way to squeeze Warzone down to something less than 150GB. And all this news is brought to you by PUBG MOBILE.
Witcher 3 DLC will be arriving to coincide with stories from the Netflix series. Call of Duty Cheats Vid was banned or taken down from YouTube. Titanfall 2 Hacked again and then Apex Legends hacked in response, leaving Titanfall on a path to slowly die. We have seen some Call of Duty Warzone cheaters caught live, but the problem still persists. The problem worse now that Call of Duty console cheats are a reality. We even tried to play some of Call of Duty Warzone live and it was usually fun if we stayed on private servers to avoid all of the Call of Duty cheaters. The Witcher 3 will be getting a surprise update and free DLC because of the Witcher Netflix series. To coincide with the Witcher Season 2 there will be an updated to Witcher 3 gameplay. Titanfall 2 continues to struggle as hackers keep the game in an unplayable state. The Titanfall 2 multiplayer got so bad recently that hackers took Apex Legends down. Respawn has done their best to recover from when Apex Legends was hacked. #callofduty #witcher3 #gaming --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sntrpresents/support

On today's IGN The Fix: Games, DICE has revealed Battlefield 2042. The upcoming shooter will be missing some modes such as battle royale and a single-player campaign. This streamlined experience will reportedly allow the studio to focus on its strengths when the game hits next-gen consoles and PC. Fans can rejoice however as beloved modes such as conquest and breakthrough will make a return! And Finally, Call of Duty Warzone could be taking the fight back to WW2, with a new map set in the Pacific Theater of the second world war.
